Beginner looking for guidance in affiliate marketing
Hi everyone! I’ve recently finished college and I’ve started learning about affiliate marketing. I’m really interested in getting started, but as a beginner, I have a lot of questions and I’d love some guidance. I want to learn from people who are experienced in affiliate marketing, anywhere in the world. I’d like to know: (i) How to start as a beginner (ii) Common mistakes to avoid (iii) Strategies that actually work (iv)Whether it’s possible to be successful doing affiliate marketing from East Africa I’m also looking for a mentor, someone experienced who could guide me and help me avoid walking through this alone. I’m motivated to learn and put in the work, but having guidance would be really valuable. Thanks so much in advance for any tips, advice, or mentorship offers! submitted by /u/themodern_einstein to r/Affiliatemarketing [link] [comments]

Launched my first app and realizing marketing is harder than building
I recently finished building my first app after spending months working on it after my day job. The development process was actually the part I enjoyed the most. Designing the UI, building the features, solving the problems — all of that felt pretty natural. But now that it’s finished, I’m realizing the real challenge is distribution and marketing. Today I started experimenting with a few things: • posting TikToks showing the app UI • setting up a Facebook page for it • sharing it on Reddit in communities where it’s relevant And honestly, getting people to even discover the app seems way harder than building it. For people here who have launched apps before: What marketing channels actually worked best for you early on? Organic content? Ads? Communities? Would love to hear what strategies helped you get your first real users. submitted by /u/BarnacleBoy7 to r/AppBusiness [link] [comments]

Our best B2B marketing strategy for 2026
to those of you struggling with marketing for your B2B offer, heres what’s been working for my clients in 2026 so far. Step one. make a simple landing page for a webinar. Just a thumbnail image, webinar title, and a working optin form. Ask for multiple data points like company name, job title, etc. Use some recaptcha solution to prevent spam submissions. After successful optin, just show a screen like “webinar ended, we’ll send a replay when available!” Step two. Make 15-50 variations of this with various webinar topics and titles. You never know what resonates most with people in your industry until you test, and you’ll waste countless hours & resources filming and producing webinars nobody will ever watch. So test titles first then thumbnails second. Even the wording of the webinar headline can result in either $16.00 or $2.50 per qualified optin. The worst and dumbest thing you can do is burn ad spend forcing people to watch something they have no interest in. Step three. Run paid ads to test which webinar topics/titles perform best. We run ads across Meta, LinkedIn, Google/YouTube, and Reddit. (Even TikTok for some industries). Algorithms can find your target audience even if it’s super niche. We’ve even done webinars targeted at “Owners of independent pharmacies” or “CTOs at tech companies with 300+ headcount” or “owner operators of remodeling companies on the east coast”. If your webinar title is relevant, and your ad copy is targeted, you reach the right people. Simple enough. Those people click, and then algorithms show to more people like that. Step four. Take your best performing webinar title & thumbnail and actually script and film the webinar. This is by far the biggest bottleneck for most people. They keep restarting and never actually film the thing. If it’s easier we’ve had a lot of success with ultra realistic AI voiceovers and the watch times can actually be higher. Aim to write a transcript that fills about 20-30 minutes. Then do a round of revisions and condense it down to 15 mins. Then condense again and make 2-3 final versions each under 10 mins. Cut out the fluff and keep it flowing. Attention spans are bad now even in B2B and older demographics. Step five Add simple visual aids and on screen captions which greatly increase watch time. With that, make a webinar video for your final 2-3 versions. Now run ads to each of the versions with the title and thumbnail you already validated. The goal now is to see which version of your webinar produces the most qualified prospects. It’s not just about lowest cost per optin but who is the ideal avatar you get the best ROI from serving. Bonus tip: you can even setup your conversion pixels so the events fire only on the most qualified leads, then feed data of closed sales back to the algorithm after the fact. Meta especially has a good new system for this. Step six The same salesperson should be closing leads and doing demos so the close rate doesn’t negate the result of which webinar performed best. If you did steps 1-5 properly then you already should be in the green. Literally nobody is doing this so thoroughly so you’ll have the most optimized funnel in your industry by this point. Especially if your average deal size nets at minimum $40,000 per year or more I’d be shocked if this wasn’t printing results. Numbers from our last webinar in legal niche: $3.91 cost per optin $54.88 cost per demo $192-$274 cost per close (depending on closer) Average $14-20k ACV (with the occasional whale) This is after many iterations and countless split testing. The third best performer from this same campaign was $9.45 cost per optin and $1.2K cost per close, so quite a world apart in performance. Some advice: Tip #1 A solid webinar will work for quite some time depending on the size of your total addressable market and how seasonality impacts what you’re selling. Also how aggressively you scale. At one point you’ll need to spread your ad spend across multiple webinars and run them simultaneously as they’ll attract different segments of your target audience or people at different buying stages. Tip #2 Start with Meta ads for testing. Usually we go in this order: meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, reddit, and then TikTok. (TikTok is practically untapped in B2B lead gen but won’t work for many industries.) we are testing some X ads lately but there’s so much bot traffic it’s insane. Had webinars get watched by C suite of Fortune 500s and high net worth individuals. All coming from these social media platforms. One time got an eCommerce brand into a major retailer because a buyer saw the ad on her personal Facebook feed. Tip #3 In my opinion this is the best channel for B2B because it’s scalable. You turn on the tap (ad spend) if you need more leads and turn it down if your calendars are booked and you can’t keep up. The leads are higher quality and have higher ACV and LTV because they respect you as an authority. They just watched valuable insights from you so show up rate to calls is higher and most metrics are better. Especially if your strategy currently is giving away AirPods and game tickets which makes your prospects feel like your margins are too good to afford such gifts, so they actually think they’re getting screwed. Anyways good luck in 2026. Hope this helps. tl:dr; run ads to informative webinar videos for scalable B2B lead gen but don’t waste time filming until you tested titles and thumbnails with dummy webinar first. submitted by /u/cmo_simon to r/Entrepreneur [link] [comments]

Your goal is to create a strategic marketing plan that includes competitive analysis, ROI prediction, and resource allocation. Follow these instructions carefully to produce a high-quality marketing strategy. You will be provided with the following input variables: {{COMPANY_INFO}} This contains information about the company, including its products/services, target audience, and current marketing efforts. {{MARKET_DATA}} This includes industry trends, competitor information, and relevant market statistics. {{BUDGET}} This specifies the available marketing budget for the strategy. Begin by conducting a thorough competitive analysis: Identify the top 3-5 competitors based on the market data provided. Analyze their strengths, weaknesses, and current marketing strategies. Identify gaps in the market that your company can potentially fill. Next, develop a strategic marketing plan: Define clear, measurable marketing objectives based on the company information and competitive analysis. Identify target audience segments and create detailed buyer personas. Develop a unique value proposition that sets the company apart from competitors. Outline specific marketing tactics and channels to reach the target audience, considering both digital and traditional methods. Create a content strategy that aligns with the overall marketing objectives. Propose a timeline for implementing the marketing strategies. For ROI prediction and resource allocation: Estimate the potential return on investment for each proposed marketing tactic. Allocate the given budget across different marketing channels and activities. Suggest key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of each marketing initiative. Recommend tools or methods for tracking and analyzing marketing performance. Before providing your final output, use tags to organize your thoughts and ensure you've covered all necessary aspects of the marketing strategy. Present your marketing strategy in the following format, using appropriate XML tags: [Include your competitive analysis here] [Include your strategic marketing plan here] [Include your ROI predictions and resource allocation here] [Provide a brief conclusion and next steps] Ensure that your strategy is data-driven, innovative, and tailored to the specific needs of the company based on the provided information. Be concise yet comprehensive in your explanations. ------------------------------------------------ I have been frustrated to see that people are buying a prompt pack with 10k prompts. Based on my experience using LLMs since GPT-3, you need just a few to get your work done. If you can't stomach a 4% market drop then you really need to adjust your investing strategy
It seems that everyone has become so accustomed to massive yearly gains in the stock market. If you're thinking about selling your investments after a minor drop in the market, then you really need to adjust your strategy. Maybe consider a money market fund or speaking to a financial advisor. Everyone seems to have forgotten the risk that comes with investing. We have seen gains in the last few years that are unlikely to be repeated in the near future. There have been past periods where the market has been down over a significant number of years. If you have time on your side and are diversified in index/mutual funds then you need to stay the course. If you have all of your money in a few individual tech stocks then you need to restrategize or stop complaining when you lose a significant amount of money. If you are a new investor, it can be easy to get discouraged in these type of scenarios but as the market goes down, your future purchases will be at a lower price. Nothing is ever guaranteed and nothing goes up in a straight line. submitted by /u/leafs2121 to r/investing [link] [comments]

Trump won, market rallying - whats your next 4 year strategy to maximize investments?
Well, here we go, and as they say, millionaires are made during economic changes/turnovers. I am genuinely interested in reflecting on and planning for the next four years. What is the group's strategy for investing, riding the wave, or making money? thanks! submitted by /u/nikonista to r/investing [link] [comments]

CAT Error Theory is a market wide phenomenon, which I believe is evidence of wide scale CRIME happening across thousands of stocks. However within the data, GME still displays idiosyncratic traits, which may be used for making profitable trading strategies.

If the MOASS causes a market crash PLEASE remember to frame it correctly. IT IS THE SHORTS FAULT. NOT GME OR REDDIT. They lost and chose to create systemic risk as a last ditch strategy, hoping the government bails them out. Start saying it now and take control of the narrative ahead of the MOASS.
Thanks for reading. I like the fucking stock. 🚀🚀🚀 Edit: to those saying it won't crash the market, have you seen what happens when we start going parabolic? The market starts bleeding out of its eyes. What is GME's beta value at right now, anyway? Still -8? It's like SOME of you don't even want the squeeze to happen. Weird. Edit2: Wow, #2 on my favorite subreddit. I am a warm and fuzzy ape. Thanks for the awards! I wanted to clarify something I posted in my first edit about beta value. First type in negative beta in google and you get this: "A negative beta correlation means an investment moves in the opposite direction from the stock market. When the market rises, a negative-beta investment generally falls. When the market falls, the negative-beta investment will tend to rise." Here is some DD about GME's beta value from 2 weeks ago. Long story short GME's beta was -2.07 on 03/17 and I got the same value when I looked for it just now. What it means to me is that when GME goes BRRRRRRRR market goes GUHHHHH. Smarter apes can explain the deeper mechanics and nuance but that is it in a nutshell. INFINITY EDIT: WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW MORE? WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THIS SHREWDNESS OF APES, SERIOUSLY THATS WHAT GROUPS OF APES ARE CALLED, WTF https://www.reddit.com/r/GME/comments/meoht6/intro_to_the_gme_standoff_for_newcomers_plz_read/ APES STRONG TOGETHER! Governor Cuomo: “My mother is not expendable. Your mother is not expendable. We will not put a dollar figure on human life. We can have a public health strategy that is consistent with an economic one. No one should be talking about social darwinism for the sake of the stock market.”

TIL That when Crystal Pepsi was released, Coca-Cola released a competitor called Tab Clear, however Tab Clear was intentionally marketed poorly in order to hurt Crystal Pepsi's image by product association. The "born to die" strategy was successful and both campaigns were dead 6 months later.
