Coffee frother not working...
Guys i ordered this a few days ago. Well this good for nothing frother is working perfectly fine in air but it’s not frothing the coffee. As soon as I submerge it into milk or water it will stop working. If I submerge it into water then it has to be kept under sunlight to work and in milk it will stop working but as soon as I take it out it will start working. submitted by /u/Vegetable-Alps6547 to r/IndiaCoffee [link] [comments]

strong milk frother recommendations
i was wondering if there's something similar to the nanofoamer by subminimal in pakistan? i want to make latte art at home but i can't invest in a coffee machine yet. i saw online that you could do it using a frother but the ones ive bought off of daraz and naheed are so weak they slow down 0.25x the original speed and end up not frothing the milk at all. it's very frustrating, i want to invest in a strong motor frother but i can't find anything that's not similar to my current frother. my budget is 5k. please don't recommend anything from daraz, i don't have good experiences with them submitted by /u/cheesirat to r/pakcoffee [link] [comments]

New sort of milk frothers?
I stopped for a coffee in a different cafe than my usual, and the milk frother they were using was very different. Normally I'd expect a nozzle connected to the coffee machine, which would steam a jug filled with milk. This machine appeared to dispense the milk into the jug already frothed. The coffee was very nice, but I feel like something has been lost in the process. Is this common, or did I see something new? submitted by /u/PropellerGoblin to r/barista [link] [comments]

Drip coffee & espresso machine? (No milk) [$500 or less]
Hello! I’m looking to upgrade my coffee maker during an upcoming move. I ONLY drink black coffee so I do not want or need a machine that has a milk frother etc. I mostly drink drip coffee but would love to be able to make espresso for americanos. Budget is around $500 max but preferably more in the $100-300 range. Please let me know if you have any recommendations! Thank you! submitted by /u/ReallyBigWord to r/espresso [link] [comments]

Is plastic-free drip coffee / milk frothing still hard to find?
I posted here two years ago asking about plastic-free milk frothers, and I still occasionally get notifications from people looking for options for both drip coffee and milk frothing. For coffee, I ended up doing a stainless steel filter + pour-over setup, which has worked well for me. For milk, I rarely froth anymore, but when I do, I warm the milk separately and use a cheap handheld stainless steel frother. I’m curious what others have found since then. I saw a recommendation for a $400-ish product that uses glass and ceramic, but people said it was painful to clean. Are there any truly low-plastic or plastic-free drip coffee makers or milk frothers that you like? Or is this still one of those annoying gaps where the options are either plastic-heavy, very expensive, or not practical day to day? If good options already exist, I’d love to know so I can point people toward them when people comment on my old post. submitted by /u/ditchingplastic_com to r/moderatelygranolamoms [link] [comments]

Trying to improve coffee at home, is a handheld milk frother good enough
Been trying to level up my coffee at home and honestly it’s been a struggle. I don’t have space (or budget) for a full espresso machine, so I’m looking at those handheld electric milk frothers. The small wand ones. Problem is… reviews are all over the place. Some people say they work great, others say they die after a few weeks or don’t really give that smooth, creamy foam. I drink a lot of milk-based coffee (lattes, cappuccino-ish stuff), so I need something that actually makes decent foam, not just bubbles that disappear in 30 seconds. I’m trying to avoid wasting money on junk and buying 2–3 different ones just to find something decent. So if you’ve actually used one for a while, I’d really appreciate honest feedback. Is a handheld frother actually good enough for daily use? Or should I just save up and go for something better? Also, if you’ve got a brand that held up over time, drop it. Real experiences only pls. submitted by /u/gorgina975 to r/KitchenPro [link] [comments]

Coffee shop drinks are expensive, does a milk frother actually help
I’m lowkey getting tired of how expensive coffee shop drinks are lately. Like I’m not even going crazy with orders, just a basic latte or cappuccino and it still adds up fast every week. Trying to cut that cost but still want something decent at home, not just plain instant coffee. Been looking into milk frothers but I’m not sure if it actually makes a real difference or if it’s just another gadget that ends up collecting dust. I don’t need barista-level stuff, just something that can give me that creamy texture so my coffee doesn’t feel sad. Also struggling to find a brand that’s actually reliable. Reviews online are all over the place, some say it’s life-changing, others say it breaks in a month. So yeah… does a milk frother really help or nah? And if you’ve used one long-term, what brand didn’t disappoint? Looking for real experiences, not sponsored hype. submitted by /u/sofia-1780 to r/KitchenPro [link] [comments]

Wala palang physical store or baka may pwesto sa mall. Yung available kasi sa Shopee, hindi ayon yung recommended niya. Tapos may nabasa pa kong reviews na sablay or sira nga raw. Kaya lang parang not really worth the price. Kayo ba? Anong gamit niyong milk frother? Worth it ba? Gaano na katagal sa inyo? Kahit ba mahal, sulit ba talaga yung Aeroccino 4? (Du'n sa mga meron). submitted by /u/CyborgeonUnit123 to r/CoffeePH [link] [comments]

WIBTA if I take my espresso machine back home because my coworkers refuse to buy pods or even rinse the tray?
I work in a small office of about twelve people. The coffee the company provides is basically brown water that tastes like burnt cardboard so about three months ago I decided to bring in my own Nespresso Vertuo machine from home. I had upgraded to a newer model and this one was just sitting in my kitchen cabinet. I told everyone they were welcome to use it as long as they provided their own pods and kept it clean. It seemed like a win win at first. For the first two weeks it was fine. Then I started noticing that the water reservoir was always bone dry when I went to use it and nobody ever bothered to refill it. Then the used capsule container started overflowing because people just kept shoving pods in until the machine literally jammed. I cleaned it out twice without saying much but then I realized I was the only one ever buying the descaling kits or deep cleaning the milk frother which gets disgusting if left for more than an hour. The final straw happened yesterday. I went to make my morning coffee and realized my personal stash of pods which I keep in my desk drawer had been raided. Someone had actually gone into my unlocked drawer and taken the last four sleeves of Stormio pods. When I asked in the group chat if anyone knew what happened one of the senior analysts joked that they thought it was communal property since the machine is in the breakroom. I pointed out that the pods cost about a dollar each and I am not a charity. Another coworker chimed in saying I am being "petty" over coffee and that since I am the one who brought the machine I should expect to maintain it. I am seriously considering just packing it up and taking it home on Friday without saying a word. I know if I do the office will go back to the terrible instant coffee and everyone will probably act like I am the villain who stole Christmas. My partner says I should just leave it but stop cleaning it and see what happens but I dont want my expensive machine to get broken by their negligence. WIBTA if I just reclaim my property and let them deal with the brown water? submitted by /u/CavalierLyre9 to r/WIBTA_AITA [link] [comments]

Best milk frother for coffee that actually works?
I’ve been trying to make better milk drinks at home lately and this is one of those things where I can’t tell if I’m overthinking it or if most frothers really are kind of hit or miss I’m not looking for anything super fancy or trying to fake café level latte art in my kitchen, I just want something that makes my coffee feel a little less sad when I want a latte or cappuccino at home. Hot foam matters more to me than cold, but if it can do both that’s a plus. Cleanup matters too because I already know I’m not going to keep using something that’s annoying after the novelty wears off What keeps throwing me off is the split between handheld frothers and the electric ones. Handheld seems cheap and simple, but I can’t tell if they actually make the kind of foam people are happy with long term or if the electric ones are way more worth it If you’ve found one you actually like for home coffee, what did you end up buying and was it worth it? Edit: Appreciate the suggestions! For those following along, here is where my head is at currently - Nespresso Aeroccino 4 -$119 - This versatile frother offers four settings for hot or cold milk foam, featuring a non-stick coating and a convenient handle for effortless pouring. - Breville Milk Café Frothe - $199 - Using induction heating for smooth, even warmth, this frother features adjustable temperature settings and two frothing discs for creating rich lattes or creamy cappuccinos. - AMZCHEF 8-IN-1 - $80 - This 8-in-1 automatic steamer features a 21 oz stainless steel pitcher and 550 watts of power to prepare everything from hot or cold foam to heated milk and baby food. - Maestri House Milk Frother - $90 - This smart frother offers 21 oz capacity with precise control over temperature and foam thickness, featuring a dishwasher-safe design and memory function for perfect lattes and hot chocolate. - Subminimal NanoFoamer - $159 - This hands-free frother creates professional microfoam for dairy and plant-based milks, offering automated speed control and multiple foam textures for cafe-quality latte art at home. submitted by /u/LightrunerrhageUp to r/nespresso [link] [comments]

How to make better coffee + milk drinks?
Hi! i’ve recently started exploring ways on making good coffee at home, since naka break this holy week. I’ve gotten a kingrinder K2 and started to try specialty coffee beans using pourover, nung narealize ko na i wanted to make stronger iced drinks, i got an aeropress dupe and it made espresso-like coffee which i liked (15g coffee - 75ml water) but i still can’t manage to get a creamy texture from the milk like my favorite iced-latte from cafes (im using a 70-30 fresh milk/oat) my cheap battery powered milk frother doesn’t seem to have an effect on anything, any tips? submitted by /u/NoStruggle81 to r/CoffeePH [link] [comments]

Non-electric milk frother and cold oat milk. But hot coffee?
Since I don’t have an Aeroccino or any electric milk frother yet, I decided to buy a manual milk frother from IKEA for now. I also picked up Oatly Barista Edition, which was recommended by a Redditor I came across. For coffee, I’ve been using Sweet Vanilla capsules since I really like the flavor. Before getting the frother and oat milk, I was honestly just mixing instant creamer powder into my coffee. I mostly drink hot coffee, so here’s what I’m unsure about. Since my milk frother isn’t electric and the oat milk needs to be refrigerated, what’s the best way to do this? A) Froth the milk while it’s cold (straight from the fridge), mix it into the coffee, then microwave everything to heat it up? B) Microwave the milk first to warm it up, then froth it, and only after that add it to the coffee? Or is there another method you’d recommend? Any advice would be appreciated. submitted by /u/CyborgeonUnit123 to r/nespresso [link] [comments]

Milk frother that won't die after a few months?
I like making my coffee with milk at home. I've been going through 3 different milk frothers in the past year, each time increasing in cost, thinking higher price means higher quality, but to no avail. They either completely died after a few months, completely stopped spinning (to make the milk froth), or the milk somehow leaked out from the power on/off button. I'm looking at the nepresso milk frother but feeling a bit icky about spending that much if it was going to die after 3 months anyway. I drink coffee everyday so I need something that can work well everyday, not just occasionally. Any suggestion? TIA! What’s one thing under $25 that significantly improved your daily life?
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how small, inexpensive things can make a surprisingly big impact on quality of life. I’m not talking about fancy gadgets or big-ticket items—just the little things that somehow make your day smoother, calmer, or a little more enjoyable. For me, it was a $12 magnetic whiteboard I stuck to the fridge. Nothing fancy, but it became the central hub for my brain. Appointments, grocery needs, random thoughts—all of it lives there now. It’s helped my ADHD brain stay just a little more organized, and it’s saved me from forgetting things like my kid’s soccer practice or whether we’re out of milk. Another one: a $6 scalp scrubber I got on a whim. I don’t know why it’s so satisfying, but every shower feels like a spa now. And I actually want to wash my hair more regularly, which is a win in my book. I’ve heard people swear by things like cheap kitchen timers to stay focused, $10 milk frothers to elevate their morning coffee, or simple $5 silicone jar openers that save your wrists. So I’m curious—what’s your small-but-mighty upgrade? What’s something under $25 that made your life better in a noticeable, lasting way? Could be practical, luxurious, organizational, emotional—whatever works. Doesn’t matter if it’s boring or brilliant. I just love learning what everyday things people swear by. Feel free to drop a link if you have one (not affiliate stuff though, just for context). I might even make a running list of these for others looking for affordable life upgrades. Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with. submitted by /u/FormalOpportunity668 to r/Frugal [link] [comments]
