Got quoted $700 for rose pink hair
I live in Dallas area and I got quoted $694 💔💀 for an initial appointment to go from virgin medium/light brown hair to a dusty rose pink similar to the inspo photos attached. Maintenance was quoted around $337 every 6 weeks. I understand this specific color can be expensive and high maintenance, but I wanted to ask other stylists/colorists if this seems reasonable for the kind of color I’m going for? Update 2026/05/27 11:52am Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions. I’m honestly overwhelmed with how kind and helpful you guys are. I’m glad the majority agrees that $700 is insane lol. I completely understand that it’s hight maintenance and I’m ok with that. I don’t mind the upkeep. People who suggested doing it at home, I was thinking about it since I already do my nails, lashes, facials at home. But I don’t want to risk it with bleach. I have no idea how to work with it. I do love my natural hair color. I understand how lucky I am. I just want a change. I can always color it back/chop it off/grow it out. I tend to follow my impulses when it comes to my appearance and never regretted it whether it’s chopping my hair, getting piercings or tattoos. I’m in a phase where pink hair reflects me the most. I can get very philosophical about it 😅. I decided to get my hair done professionally the first time and then use dye/conditioner and do maintenance at home as much as I can. I don’t just want any pink hair. I’m very specific. It’s either gotta be the as I imagine it or I don’t want it at all. I found random salon next to my office (I can’t wait 👹) and scheduled my hair appointment same day in two hours 🫣. They did have pictures of previous clients with vivid colors. So I hope for the best 🤞. Not sure if I can update my post with a picture, but if I can, I’ll try to add it to this post. If not, I’ll just make a new post in this sub. See y’all in 5ish hours!! submitted by /u/Secret_Pen3436 to r/Hair [link] [comments]

3 in a row! All made by @hellbender.tattoo on IG. Manila, Philippines
These were all done in a month and I just can't stop adding more!! Always caught myself bugging in bed scrolling through IG profiles of different artists to get some inspo until I fall asleep lol. Hellbender, my good old friend since highschool did all these! What a legend. - Pharaoh's horses (4/26/2026) - Dragon head (5/13/2026) - Sacred Heart (5/16/2026) Still undecided on what's next to complete my half sleeve (for now 👀). I might be getting coffin nails just below the sacred heart but I'm open to suggestions submitted by /u/mr_dawggg to r/traditionaltattoos [link] [comments]

Started doing singular nails to practice rather than whole hands
I started finding it hard to come up with nail designs and as I'm still a beginner (been at this since January 2026) I decided to get one of those books that you can fill up with singular nails. Anyway, I absolutely love it and it is making me feel more creative! I would highly recommend! What do yall think? Also any nail inspo for more nail practice would be greatly appreciated 😁 submitted by /u/alnlhc to r/NailArt [link] [comments]

Built iOS native app for nail diary + style inspo in 2 weeks!
Built this app alongside my wife to have a way for women to track and try on new nail styles. Women regularly rely on TikTok/Pinterest for nail inspo however they always want to know how the actual inspo will look on their hand. Nailfile solves this problem while being a one stop shop for remembering which nail styles you got in the past so its easy to go back to the nail stylist and know exactly what you want! This is my 3rd app on the Appstore but my first time building a Swift app! Really proud of this one, would love any and all feedback! My next goal is to market as much as I can (already have Insta / TikTok going). Built nailfile using: Swift, Claude, Gemini, Cloudflare workers, PostHog (for analytics), RevenueCat (for billing + analytics). Happy to answer any questions you might have! 100x in 2 Months - My Gaming Experience in 2026
This post is mainly for gaming creators who have growth as at least one of their goals for their YT channel, but like most YT advice it can be probably be applied to any niche. Hi, been a lurker (on my personal account) in this community as well as SmallYoutubers for a long time and have come across a lot of great insight that have changed my YT gameplan. I went from 100 subs to 10K today and am gonna share some of my experience and some helpful stuff. Required reading is this post by Jackal: https://www.reddit.com/r/SmallYoutubers/comments/1n4wyij/gaming_is_not_oversaturated/ As a gaming creator, that should fire you up. He also learned a lot from these subreddits, pushed back against the cliche that gaming is impossible, and went from 1K a year ago to 147K playing a game I've literally never heard of. I'll try to not repeat what he said. I create content in the subniche of NetherRealm Studios games (the devs who make the Mortal Kombat series). I created my channel in 2020, made my first video in Aug 2023, and posted about 20 videos from then to Nov 2023. I got up to 138 subs, but then stopped grinding. Fast forward to Feb of this year and I decided to give it much more effort, with a much more strategized approach. Kept the same dead channel, privated all the old vids I didn't want to be shown, and posted after a long hiatus in Feb 2026. 50 views. Second video back got 1900 views in the first 24 hours, and then went nuclear and is now sitting at 570K. Hit the requirements to get monetized off of that video alone, and now in April 2026 I just passed 10k subs. Content Strategy Like many of y'all, I watch YouTube in my free time. Most of my favorite creators are gamers, but I started to realize that most of those gamers were not in my niche. I had the most fun watching Fortnite and Valorant (a game I've never played) creators, but my time spent watching creators in my niche was kinda dull (outside of 2 creators). Why? Because the Fortnite/Val creators I watched were telling a story, while the guys in my niche were kinda just playing the game. To be honest, if I weren't so in love with the games I wouldn't even watch them. So I decided to start telling a story in my videos and it's been a hit. Ideas like "I Trained Like A Pro for X Days", story telling devices like narrating post comm on top of having live comm when I play. Don't be afraid to take interesting concepts from other creators in your subniche/different niches and fuse your style into it. The best comments I receive are the ones where people say "I've never played this game but the video was so entertaining that I had to watch". That's when I feel like I'm doing something that makes me stand out against the others in the subniche, because I'm capturing an audience that they aren't. Packaging Strategy Gotta nail this. Especially for me, I've mostly been playing a dead game. All my viewers come from Browser Features and not Search, so I live and die by CTR. Photoshop has been a hobby of mine for years, since 8th grade computer class, so I make all my thumbnails myself. Many times, I see a thumbnail that stood out to me, I download it into a Folder called "Thumbnail Inspo". I use https://youtube-thumbnail-grabber.com/ to save them (I am not affiliated with them). I use these for ideas as to what a successful thumbnail looks like and mold it to my purposes. Lots of trial and error here, but now I think I have my "own" branding style. I try to stick to 3 main elements, and a similar style across all my thumbs so that when you see it, you know its me. This post is all the sauce you'd need: https://www.reddit.com/r/YouTubeThumbnailHub/comments/w9proo/ultimate_thumbnail_guide_your_checklist_to/ . This website https://thumbsup.tv/ is phenomenal, it allows you to mock up what your thumbnail and title will look like on Computer/Mobile/Light Mode/Dark Mode. If you're a real freak like me, you can go to https://color.adobe.com/create/color-wheel , switch the mode to complimentary, and make the first color the primary color of your main asset in the thumbnail (ex: if your video was about Charizard, make the first color #ee8329 and the second color will turn into a complimentary color). I love Photoshop, but you could use Photopea/GIMP/Paint.NET which are all free (PS can be free too if you're brave enough). You can learn how to use all of these software on YouTube. Useful terms to learn are: strokes, drop shadows, inner glow, outer glow, HUE/SATURATION. My average CTR in the last 90 days across 6 videos is 6.6%. Make things easier to read. Pair a nice thumbnail with a title that is less than 60 characters if you can (for mobile), that also invokes curiosity. Do not let YouTube pick a still frame from your video. If you don't care enough to create/have a thumbnail created, you will have a hard time getting long form viewers to watch your stuff. Retention Strategy This is by far my weakest area. Those same 6 videos have an average of 26% AVP. But like we always read here, you got to try and improve on one thing every upload. My most recent video has an AVP 5% to 10% higher than the 4 videos before, which is great to see because I deliberately tried to implement a hook that would keep people invested for as long as possible. It's still not where I want it to be as I have seen other creators in these forums mention 40% to 50% AVP (shoutout oodex), but each day you work on it. YouTube Studio is all you need to diagnose these issues, analyze your charts. I work with an editor who is such a legend. I used to keep just 40% of my viewers in the first 30 seconds before I started to be more analytical with my content, now after focusing on nailing the intros, I am keeping 60% to 70%. The point is, pick an issue in your retention curves and try to think of ways to flatten the curve. Game of Choice I'm not gonna say you shouldn't play the biggest/most popular game. I am not one to think that if you are not gonna succeed if you're only in it for the money/fame, in fact I think you could very much grow with that mindset. What I will say is that you can grow playing a game that you are seriously passionate about. I have been making content on Injustice 2, a game that I have put 2200+ hours into. A game that is very much dead and has been for at least 7 years. I've never heard of WorldBox, yet Jackal has made it to 150K subscribers. The idea is that if you make a compelling enough video, you might get comments like "I've never played this game but this was a great video, subbed". Or maybe you'll be the one of the few shows in town where fans of a game can get content for it. I will say that it makes the most sense to me to niche down, build a base, and then try to expand once you feel like you have a core base. I only intend to play Mortal Kombat and Injustice. And this will position me to see huge growth whenever the next game comes out. Faceless vs Faceful Honestly both can work obviously, but if you're going faceless I implore you to get a mic if you wanna grow. People want to connect with something human. I feel like my small community is connecting to me, which has led to a lot of comments, watch time, and overall engagement on my channel. It's honestly a crazy feeling playing someone on the game and getting a message from them afterwards telling me that they're subbed to my channel! I try to respond to as many comments as possible, but I know there are pros and cons to both. That's a long enough post, hopefully there are some takeaways. Won't be answering DMs, just ask whatever here! TL;DR: -Mold trending/successful concepts from within and outside your subniche with your own style to meet a demand -Improve thumbnails by learning from others. Use resources to optimize and mock your thumbnails -Use YT Studio analytics to make targeted improvements to retention, learn where your views come from and where they leave submitted by /u/mannysirskiii to r/NewTubers [link] [comments]

Little luxuries that make great gifts!(suggestions please)
I'm turning 30!! All my life I've hated having a birthday and it'll probably be a lonely one however my only close family no matter how small in numbers are the best, they always ask me what I want. Every year my mind goes completely blank even though I see things and say I'm going to remember and never do! Also the fact I have shame for asking for things so avoid it. I'm a pretty basic girly so the typical things that again I can't think of right now but love sentimental too. I can't get over someone spending their hard earned money on me but if I don't pick they'll do it anyway and I'd rather love it than them waste the money. I love gifting "bits" that are great brands and that you wouldn't pick up yourself because of the price tag etc but if you're gifted it, it's great. Examples of what I've gifted; Laura mercer powders (mins) Neom gift sets Medik8 moisturisers This Works candle set Lemme gummes Guerlain lipstick/case (GORGEOUS!!) Edited to add some things that I’ve gifted for inspo you didn’t ask for 🤣 Right girlies and guys since this post I thought I’d give you all my recommendations just incase you need some inspiration. Our June 2025 Wedding Review! (Lower Hudson Valley, NYC & NJ vendors)
I've been getting a lot of questions about our wedding day, so here's a full vendor breakdown! Better late than never. 😊 Our Goal/Aesthetic: Summer Solstice. Intimate European-inspired architecture (half indoor/half outdoor), bright decor, colorful cocktail attire, with a touch of vintage 60s/70s romance. Photos: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1N2rHHRPpMkU2SD-H1u13GgIZ4FZ58dJYRP0_s010kZU/edit?usp=sharing A few notes: No wedding party, ~100 guests, DIY decor. Pricing was locked for 2025 and may have changed for 2026. Venue: Rushmore Estate - Highland Mills, NY Pricing: ~$27.9k (includes bar package) The best compliment we got from guests was "This is so you," and honestly, that said it all. The Spanish colonial architecture and breathtaking views make it feel like you're not even in NY. The layout of the space was up to you, and the sky's the limit! We loved working with the team to bring our vision to life. Management was overall accommodating with decor placements and room selection, and was helpful day-of, working alongside our coordinator. We particularly loved the complimentary champagne upon arrival and specialty cocktails. A few things to know: Not all-inclusive. The venue covers the space, chairs/tables, white linens/napkins, staff, and bar package. Caterer, coordinator, and tent are all third-party hires. Ask them for preferred partners. Management changed shortly after we signed our contract, and we weren't told until we asked. The new team was great and picked things up quickly, but some details got lost (we were originally told cutlery and valet were included - new management said it was an extra cost). No nearby hotel shuttles to Rushmore as of 2025, and Ubers got scarce as the night went on. Plan transportation accordingly. There's an option to add Rushmore's accommodations (4 private rooms). Highly recommend hiring a wedding coordinator for this venue. Wedding Coordinator: Love With Lacopo Events - NJ/NY/& beyond Pricing: ~$2.6k Hands down the best investment of our entire wedding. We went in thinking we could DIY the logistics. And while it's possible, we wanted to actually enjoy the process and focus on our DIY projects. Sarah was knowledgeable from the very first call, stepped in whenever I started spiraling, and handled all vendor follow-ups without us having to think twice. As a Type A person, I needed someone I could hand my plans to and fully trust- and she delivered. Day-of, her team kept us hydrated, on schedule, and quietly resolved anything that came up. If we ever have another event, she's our first call! Caterer: David Kasinos Catering - NY/NJ Pricing: ~$21.6k (includes FOH staff, kitchen staff, and à la carte desserts) The food was amazing- our guests couldn't stop raving, especially about the canapés. David's approach is fully bespoke: he asked about our favorite cuisines, our cultures, and how to reflect us as a couple in the menu (my husband is Irish/Italian, I'm Filipino/Chinese). The FOH staff was great, attentive, and a total hit with guests all night. One heads up: Some miscommunication around cutlery rentals added unexpected costs last minute. Our coordinator helped sort it out, but worth being aware of. Double-check whether they're still a preferred Rushmore partner, as that may have changed. Read, read, and read your contract... Hair & Makeup: Hannah Lauren MUA / Caylen Cara Hair — NJ/NYC Price: Gifted (They are close friends and colleagues who gifted their services to me. Please reach out for pricing.) Hannah has been my go-to for makeup for years, and she completely delivered for our wedding day. During our trial, I told her I wanted something light and whimsical without looking completely out of my element. We did two trials to make sure we nailed it, and I'm so glad we did! She perfected a blurred lip and softer blush look that felt like me. Day-of, she made the whole experience so fun- we were listening to music, laughing, and just having a great time. My makeup lasted ALL day, and somehow she even managed to keep my lashes on the entire night (I can never get them to stay). I still can't believe it! Caylen is so professional and kind! I knew I wanted extensions and a fairy princess-type look to match my dress, and she got it immediately. She was willing to schedule two trials to try different curl patterns, and we landed on the perfect one. She added these beautiful pieces around my head that looked like a flower crown. I was absolutely stunned and cried when she showed me the final look day-of. Caylen is a great listener and won't turn an idea down. Can I just say- my curls lasted TWO days. I went on my mini-moon and didn't have to style it at all until I finally had to wash it. I have no idea how she did it, but I felt glammed up the whole time. Loved working with her! Photography: Carissa Joy Photo - NYC & beyond Pricing: ~$8.3k Carissa and her team completely understood our vision- dreamy, romantic, and documentary-style with both digital and film. She sent her team (Mina and Allie) to lead on the wedding day, and they were incredible: patient, natural, and never forced. They nailed our shot list and captured so many candid guest moments we would've missed ourselves. We were emotional going through the gallery. They truly are the best!!! Videography: Lauren Keeney Photography - NYC Pricing: ~$3.3k Recommended by our photographer, and we're so glad we booked her. Lauren specializes in film, and our video has that exact vintage, dreamy quality we wanted. Adding audio was 100% worth it. Now, we can relive our vows anytime. 🥹 Note: Lauren may be on an indefinite hiatus, so check availability before reaching out. DJ: Non-Traditional Wedding DJs - NYC (DJ Flavya) Pricing: ~$3k The reviews are true! We kept getting this recommendation, so we had to check them out. We needed someone who could blend traditional and non-traditional wedding music with minimal announcements, and DJ Flavya nailed it. Chill jazzy lounge sets during cocktail hour, nostalgic bops (including 80s hits, 2000s alt, and mainstream pop). Guests kept pulling us aside to say, "Your DJ is AMAZING." Big shoutout to Ben as well for being so organized throughout planning- the song worksheet was genuinely fun to fill out. Photobooth: Snapbooth NYC Pricing: ~$900 Such a fun addition! The wooden/retro booth matched our aesthetic perfectly and our guests absolutely loved it. High-quality prints, digital downloads, GIFs, customizable photo strips, great lighting, and fun props- Muhuan and the team were sweet and professional throughout. Our only regret is not jumping in for more photos ourselves! Cake: The Purple Spoon - Hudson Valley Pricing: ~$600 (8-inch 3-layer heart cake + 3 sheet cakes) Linda is so talented and accommodating from start to finish. She excels in intricate details, which was exactly what we needed- we came in with a very specific cake inspo and she delivered beautifully. Can we just say, one of our favorite parts of the whole planning process was the tasting?! Every flavor was so fresh- we wished we could've chosen them all. We ended up going with vanilla cake, passionfruit buttercream, and raspberry jam filling with a colorful Lambeth design, which felt perfect for a summer wedding. Highly recommend if you're in the Hudson Valley area! ⭐ Honorable Mentions: Columbia Tent Rentals - 10/10. Tent, bistro lights, and dance floor. Flawless + perfect for a summer night. The Event Rental Guys - 10/10. Lawn games that were a huge hit, easy delivery, and great prices. Westside Party Rentals - 6/10. Cutlery was fine, but communication was messy, delivery was late, and service was a bit rude. \*Let me know if you'd like more details (dress, suit, decor, etc)!*\** submitted by /u/cthefaerie to r/WedditNYC [link] [comments]

Habits don’t fail—friction does. So I built a tracker for imperfect consistency.
I’ve finally built my own habit tracker, not cause it’s easy to build and wanting to call myself a product manager but because I find it hard to stick to any trackers for the long term, and I really need one that suits me. Honestly the main perk of having your own is that it’s 100% customizable, so here’s what I felt like I need and maybe it’d suit you too. The name is called “Becoming.” as in you’re becoming a better version of yourself by completing one habit at a time. It is clean, minimal and straightforward to use, UI is pretty nice (for my taste at least). You don’t need to spend a lot time on building a pretty template because it already is, this way you can start logging your task right away instead of spending time on setups. So far receive several positive feedbacks already, proven to actually help sticking to your habits :)) Here are the main features: - habit bubbles that you can double tap to log - Option to add memo to each entries, recording how you feel or details - Cute receipt like daily recap as summaries - Of course widgets are supported - Detailed historical stats to visualize - Individual habits insights available - no streaks emphasized, just stats available when you wanna view them Trying to find the balance of minimal while providing all useful information and features, feel free to try it out or give any suggestions/feedback! Countdown to Kickoff 2026: Denver Summit
2026 Kickoff Countdown – Denver Summit FC BACKGROUND INFORMATION Head Coach: Nick Cushing Team Bald WILL take over the NWSL Nick brings with him a mixed bag history of some highs as the coach for Manchester City’s women’s team to the lows as the coach for MLS Team New York City FC. At Manchester City, Nick had a relatively stellar career, winning three FA Cups - with his first breaking a four year streak by Arsenal (2014, 2016, and 2017). He was also awarded FA Manager of the Year in 2017. When he moved over to the MLS he was unsuccessful and was sacked after two years at the helm. What does this pick mean for Denver? First, I would take any hiring with a grain of salt. Every recent expansion team has ditched their first coach within the first few years - Albertin Montoya (Bay), Casey Stoney (Wave), and Huy Williams, Matt Potter, etc. (KC). That said, considering Nick won his first FA Cup in his first year as coach, that tells me he can get up to speed quickly. However, I don’t think that means we’re winning it all the first year in - Man City had a familiar roster and infrastructure for him to build off of, whereas at Denver he is starting from scratch. Aside from proving he can succeed in one of the top women’s leagues, Nick also has a relatively decent reputation with players. In a recent Attacking Third episode, Jen Beattie said “Nick Cushing…he’s still to this day one of the best coaches I’ve ever had.” This tells me he not only knows the game, but he has the respect of the players, which I find paramount to success. He’s also helped develop some of the English national team’s top talent: Keira Walsh, Georgia Stanway, and Lauren Hemp. Ignoring Cushing’s record at NY, his record coaching women’s soccer at Man City as the permanent coach (ignoring him filling in as interim as I think that skews the stats) his record was 135-21-30. Not bad. The biggest challenges Cushing is going to face are starting out from scratch and building a team with no draft (something I think his scouting team has excelled at), adapting to the NWSL style of play (no freebie wins here), and being able to quickly pivot and adjust as needed. Furthermore, returning NWSL teams lose people each season, but maintain some skeleton of chemistry and culture, whereas Cushing will be starting from scratch. Overall, I rate this hiring an A-. I am pleased with his history on the women’s side, but his experience in NY raises some “yellow” flags. Seeing if he can adapt to the NWSL is another question in itself. The good news is if he’s not the right fit, we’ll just be continuing the time-honored NWSL expansion team tradition of firing our first head coach. General Manager: Curt Johnson) Curt Johnson is another interesting pick. From a purely accolade standard, he is a good pick. He worked for the North Carolina Courage when they won the shield and cup in 2017, the first NWSL team ever to do so. He was a big part of the team that dominated the NWSL for years, as well as helped develop the youth programs in North Carolina, developing young talent such as Brianna Pinto (now a Chicago Stars player). From an accolade perspective, Johnson couldn’t be a better pick. With even more investment from Denver ownership, he could be dangerous. HOWEVER, from a HR perspective etc., Johnson worked alongside NC Coach Paul Riley, who was fired for sexual misconduct and mistreatment of the players. While Johnson was never explicitly found guilty of any wrongdoing, it is concerning if Johnson in any way might have contributed to the culture that allowed someone like Riley to flourish. Only time will tell. Captain: Janine Sonis/Kaleigh Kurtz If I have anything to do with it, DSFC's secondary name will be Dog FC. Janine has been fantastic for this team so far in pre-season and has won the captain’s armband the majority of the time. I’ll be honest, I didn’t watch a lot of Louisville games last year, so my expectations for Janine were based in part on the despair showcased by Louisville fans in the thread. I love Janine, will probably be getting her jersey, and it’s been fun watching her in SheBelieves as she plays for Canada (1 goal, 1 assist at time of writing this). KK (Kaleigh Kurtz) has served as backup captain when Janine is out of play. She was a repeat ironwoman for the Courage. Both players offer a lot of stability, poise, and experience to a gameday lineup and I can’t think of anyone else I would want to lead this team than these two. Gold stars to both of them. Stadium: Temporary Stadium in Centennial Colorado Thanks for putting this close to my dentist office! Really accessible. While awaiting the build of Denver’s permanent soccer stadium at Santa Fe Yards, they will play about a half hour outside Denver in Centennial. While they wait on THAT temporary stadium to be assembled (and the “Made in China” stickers to be added everywhere), they will play two games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (home of MLS team Colorado Rapids) and one game at Empower Field. The Centennial temporary stadium will have 12k seats as opposed to the permanent stadium which will have 15k to start, with capability to expand as needed. The temporary stadium will be less accessible than the Denver one will be (and reportedly minimal parking), so it will be interesting to see how DSFC will approach this. I imagine they will take a similar approach to KC, where they will bus people in from one of the light rail stations (about a 13 minute drive). The permanent stadium will be located close to downtown Denver, directly off of a light rail station, and has already received approval from Denver City Council. As a part of the neighborhood agreement, the stadium will focus on using local businesses for concessions, local artists, etc. Again, I imagine something similar to KC’s design. Thank you to KC for letting us copy your homework…and by copy I mean perfect it! (I’m a former KC fan, don’t come after me!) The supporter’s section will be section 114 - to go along with Supporter Group 14ers’ name. DSFC currently has a waiting list to get season tickets. They sold 8,500 of the 12,000 seats in the temporary stadium (reserved the rest for single-game tickets, etc.), so I would expect the waiting list to be 6,600+. If you haven’t gotten in line for tickets yet, good luck! I hear all the Rapids STMs are racing to ditch their STs for DSFC (Sell the team Kroenke!). Better stadium, better team, better league, what more could you want?! The home opener for Denver Summit will be held at Empower Field (home of NFL Team Denver Broncos) against Washington Spirit. The stadium capacity is about 70k, with the latest reports DSFC has sold at least 45k tickets. You can bet we’ll be trying to set the record sky high. Ownership: Rob Cohen Girl Dad Cohen led the ownership group that submitted the bid for Denver, at the time paying more than double the previous expansion fee at $110 million (this has since been surpassed by Atlanta NWSL). Celebrity owners include Peyton Manning (cue the Gotham rivalry) and Mikaela Shiffrin (Olympian Gold Medalist). This is no doubt an investment that Cohen takes seriously. In addition to building a permanent stadium and a dedicated training facility (basically requirements of any expansion team), Cohen is building a temporary stadium as well to maximize Denver Summit’s opportunities. This priority to be the primary tenant on the stadium was clear with the work the team did to promote the permanent stadium and the public support that was generated at Denver City Council meetings reviewing this approval. Being a primary tenant is so important to this team, that when asked by a city council member at one of these meetings if they would ever share a stadium with the Rapids (MLS), President Jen Millet said something along the lines of, “We’d be happy to rent our stadium out to them.” Mic drop! Permanent stadium mockup. Yes, it is right up against the highway, so no river balls for us. With Baggett out and Heaps not arriving until June, we’re left with 21 players and can have a max of 26. I expect we likely sign NRI Meg Boade (formerly Washington Spirit). There are rumors we might have three additional signings, with one rumored to be the Japanese NT player Yukuki Yamamoto (forward). Also, Jasmine Aikey may have a more mid to long term injury following her trip to US U-23 camp, but I’m hoping I’m wrong about that. Most Probable Starting Lineup Game 1 Formation: 4-3-3 https://preview.redd.it/kz3i7czmhnng1.png?width=595&format=png&auto=webp&s=586094dc78b7ac579c8351345afe250d4a507c12 Although I could spend hours deliberating who will start at the beginning of the season, I think this is a safe bet for our first game. Kossler, McCormack, Sonis, Gaetino, Kurtz, Oke, Brazier, and Flint all started the preseason match against SD, and all did well enough to keep their starting spots. While Abby Smith had a fatal error against Ludmila, I think she will continue to start for now until PPM (Pauline Peyraud-Magnin) has been with the team for longer (she only arrived recently from what I can tell). Aside from those, I think Pickett will start over Means because Means, despite fantastic offensive production, showed too many gaps defensively to have her start on regular season games. The same goes for Emma Regan - despite being a sub in for San Diego, she impressed me far more than Jasmine Aikey, who seems to be settling in still to this new position. While there seem to be a lot of wild cards on the Denver roster, my first pick for subs would be Olivia Thomas, Natalie Means (for said offensive production), Jasmine Aikey, Megan Reid, Devin Lynch, and Lourdes Bosch. While some will make the argument to get Olivia Thomas on the field straightaway after her 3 goals at Coachella, I think she will be our little filly that we trot out when all of the defenders legs are cooked to stomp them to pieces. Once she has more experience, she will definitely be a contender for starter. Midseason Predicted Lineup: https://preview.redd.it/3c6vxfzmhnng1.png?width=596&format=png&auto=webp&s=ed5263698015fdbd10b22fd48c5a0670ef4d75ef Likely Top Bench/Subs: First Last Pos Olivia Thomas F Natalie Means D Jasmine Aikey (if healthy) M Megan Reid D Devin Lynch M Lourdes Bosch F In terms of bench talent, there is a lot there. We could see a lot of rotation, but this is who I see out the gate. Denver actually has a good mix of youth and experience, NWSL and non-NWSL, etc. This diversity could prove a challenge to opponents and allow for some rotation in the starting lineup to keep players healthy. Something to Prove Nick Cushing – Most expansion teams’ first coaches don’t have a stellar record. Cushing both needs to make the cut in that regard, but also prove his adaptability to new forms of play. If Denver has a bad enough season, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he does not get a second chance. Denver ownership has been clear they want to be one of the best teams in the league each year. Jasmine Aikey - MAC Herman Winner and one of the most coveted draft picks has had an interesting start to her professional career. Although she played striker in college, she has now been spotted playing defensive midfielder, with not a lot of pizzazz. Will she prove her spot in the starting lineup, and if so, where? She will either have to adapt to a CM role, pull a Tara McKeown/Kelley O’Hara/Crystal Dunn, or start scoring. Tash Flint - Former USL champion Tash Flint is on loan to Denver Summit through the end of March, with an option to buy. She will need to prove she is a worthy investment with not a lot of time (promisingly, she has already scored a goal in preseason). Olivia Thomas - With 3 goals scored in two games in the preseason, Olivia could very well be a contender for Rookie of the Year. She’s a bully on the frontline that I look forward to seeing more from. Lindsey Heaps - If there’s one thing I know about this group, it’s that there are strong opinions about Lindsey. Whether she will prove the haters wrong that she can play in this fast paced league will be the question. Out for the season: Jordan Baggett announced she is pregnant so she will be out for the season. Since she was already somewhat of a gamble due to her lack of playing time the past few years, I would be surprised if the Summit signed her to another contract (hers was only for 2026), unless it is a minimum contract so as to not impact cap space. I was going to put her as “something to prove” due to her unremarkable career so far, but this may be the nail in her career’s coffin, unfortunately. 2026 PREVIEW Realistic Best-Case Scenario – 5th-6th If this team can stay healthy, maybe pick up even more depth in the June break, and continue to grow, this team could be very dangerous. I think Top 4 is out of the question as every expansion team has its bumps in the road, but I think there are enough teams who failed to invest enough in the offseason that Denver’s exquisite scouting will land it solidly in the mid-top range of the pack. Realistic Worst-Case Scenario – 9th-10th If Denver can’t stay healthy, and some bottom table teams who surged at the end of the year continue their momentum, I could see Denver falling just outside of playoffs, but with the ability to play spoiler to other teams. The biggest strength Denver might be missing is more depth in their center midfield, and if Heaps and other rookies can’t fill that gap, things could go poorly. Realistic Most Probable Scenario – 7th Playoff contenders with the possibility to spoil their way to the semifinals. I don’t see us going all the way in the first season as some of our starting lineup is young, and could lose steam going into the back half of the season (think 2025 San Diego). Player (Half Time) Pets Because I’m bored. Can’t wait to see more pet pics in a week! Tash Flint, Mother of Blu (and another dachshund I don’t know the name of) I had a dream last night that I adopted two dachshunds so thanks for that inspo Tash. And in honor of the cat lovers, here is Denver Summit fan Pasta. Their parent regularly shows Pasta off at half time. Pasta is excited for Meow in the Midfield (a theme night DSFC doesn't yet know it should host) Finally, shout out to 14ers! The ethereal goddess dress of my dreams!
Venue: outdoors in the Scottish Highlands Date: fall 2026 Style inspo: an ethereal spirit of the misty moors We replaced the lining with a nude color as seen in the last photo to look a little less solid and more ghostly, then added a cathedral veil to up the drama and give something to blow wildly in the wind. My stylist nailed it and I'm in love 🤍 submitted by /u/ValkyrjaValor to r/weddingdress [link] [comments]

Nail Influencers 2026
I love Pinterest as a whole, but I feel they’re getting kind of outdated with nails inspo, either too extra or too plain; yet I like my nails with a little bit of spice and personality. Which “influencers” do you get your inspo from? I only “know” Hailey Bieber (I don’t follow her, just look her up on Pinterest) but I would like more references. I am terrible at asking for help... but I am blessed to have people willing to help me. They ask what they can do and I don't really know what to say.
