Lately I've been using mostly hydroxyapatite toothpastes. I wanted to share a quick and honest roundup of the ones I've tried, focusing on daily usability, freshness, ingredients, and value. If you're also interested in hydroxyapatite toothpastes, I hope this helps as a light reference! Here’s what I thought! Boka Fluoride Free Toothpaste This is probably the most well-known brand on the list. The texture is nice and firm. It doesn't run all over the brush and gives just the right amount of foam so it still feels like you're actually brushing. I liked that there are many flavor options, but the price is a bit high for everyday use. Pros: Good balanced texture Enough foam for that clean feeling Lots of flavor choices Cons: Pretty expensive for daily use HIMALAYA PINKSALT Fluoride Free Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste This one was surprisingly good. I thought the pink salt would make it taste salty but it doesn't at all. It has a fresh minty feel overall. What I liked most was that there's almost no weird aftertaste or residue left in the mouth. It felt clean and comfortable for daily use. The fact that it contains niacinamide was also an interesting bonus. Pros: Fresh taste (not salty at all) Contains niacinamide Good value for daily use Cons: Nothing major. It's solid for the price especially for a natural toothpaste Ollie Fluoride Free 10% Nano Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste The texture is pretty decent. It's easy to squeeze and doesn't drip off the brush. But the problem for me was the taste. There's a slight bitter aftertaste that lingers on my tongue and in my mouth which kept bothering me. Pros: Good consistency (easy to control, not messy) Holds shape well on the toothbrush Cons: Bitter aftertaste Davids Hydroxi Fluoride Free Nano Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste This one has a more natural minimalist feel. It doesn't foam much so if you prefer low-foam toothpastes you might like it. The peppermint is mild and clean. The only downside is that the tube always feels like it's not fully filled which is a bit disappointing every time I use it. Biopure Antibacterial Hand Wipes - These are a repurchase and I use them to clean my hands while doing makeup, cleaning my surfaces and desk while doing makeup. They are phenomenal and really get things clean. I will repurchase but I have a lot of backups to empty first. Biopure Eyelid Cleansing Wipes - These are a repurchase. They are individually wrapped and I use one every night after a double or triple cleanse. It is amazing how much eye makeup they remove after a double or triple cleanse . They are so gentle on my eyes and don’t give me the slightest irritation. I have 2 more boxes in backup. Berry Glowy Jelly Face Wash - This is great & I love the packaging! Despite being fragrances it didn’t irritate my skin, suds up nicely and left me feeling clean without being stripped. My only issue is it’s 3.38 ounces so it only lasted me 1.5 weeks but I would repurchase this. Hyaluronic acid One Shot Ampoule Mask / This was very moisturizing and it didn’t irritate my skin. It has a lot of product on the mask making it super moist. I would repurchase this after I empty and pan my other masks. Revive Rx Moisturizing Face & Body Spray-This is a repurchase. This spray has become a staple. I put in a continuous mist bottle and spray it on all over my body when I get out of the shower. It locks in moisture and prevents water loss. I no longer sweat at night and it has become my holy grail. I currently do not have one in backup but will be repurchasing when I empty the one I’m using. Little Tikes Hydropure Baby Wipes - This is a repurchase. I love that these wipes are 99% water! The are moist, and good quality for the price. They are my favorite baby wipes and will be repurchased. Biophil Makeup Remover cloths - These are a repurchase. They are comparable to high end cloths and are the only ones at this price point that are moist and thick. They are gentle and I love the opening on the package. They are my favorite cloths and a definite repurchase once I empty what I have on hand. B Pure Hydrating Foot Mask / It was my first time trying this and I like it. It does what it says it does and works really well as part of a at home pedicure or spa day 🧖‍♀️ routine! It has a rose 🌹 scent so keep that in mind. I liked the scent personally. I will repurchase this eventually, after I go through the many foot masks I have on had. Foot masks are my weakness. LOL 😂 Evo Sensitive Whitening Mouthwash- The best mouthwash at the bargain price point of all time! This is a repurchase and I love how gentle it is, no strong fragrance or smell, taste is mild and my teeth seem brighter. It’s my favorite mouthwash! My only complaint is it’s 10 ounces. I have 4 bottles on hand and will be repurchasing once they are empty. Neutrogena Rapid Firming Collagen Triple Lift Serum - Well, it sounds nice. Honestly I didn’t notice a difference when compared to other drug store serums. It wasn’t irritating and had a good consistency, no noticeable scent. I will not be repurchasing just because I have so many serums on hand to pan/empty that I like just as much if not better. Spa Luxury Whipped Shaving Cream - The BEST shaving cream ever! The texture is spot on. Not too thin, not too thick, and the delivery method is pure genius. I always get the perfect amount. The vanilla coconut 🥥 scent is dreamy. I can’t say enough about this shaving cream and I’m devastated I can’t buy any more until I empty/pan another shaving cream I have on hand. It is a definite repurchase! Trader Joe’s Sensitivity + Whitening Toothpaste - I didn’t care for this. It worked good enough as a toothpaste, but I couldn’t get past the baking soda formula. I need toothpaste that has a good amount of foam and this isn’t it. The size is large so it took me forever to pan/empty. I think I got it for $2.99 so the price point per ounce is a deal. I much more prefer my Evo Advanced Whitening toothpaste that replaced this & that I found at Dollar Tree. I will not be repurchasing. Brazilian Sol Body Butter - I haven’t used Sol de Janeiro but this body butter is an addiction! The scent is light but effective, and the consistency is thick. It penetrates well and my skin stays moisturized for 24 hours. I’ve gone through 3 tubs so far and have 3 more on hand. It has become a staple and holy grail. I will be repurchasing in about another 3 months 😆. Ioni Vail of Allure Eyeshadow Primer- This is a repurchase. This primer was a surprise in that it works great. But I do have complaints about the packaging. Not enough primer gets on the applicator because the opening of the tube is too small. So multiple applications are needed. When I cut open the tube to pan it I was floored by how much product was still in the tube. Because it works good I’m going to give the poor packaging a pass. I have one more on hand and will repurchase if I see it at Dollar Tree again. Prolux Matte Foundation - Definitely would repurchase. Although the shades are a little off for my skin tone, I made it work by mixing two shades together. This is a full coverage foundation and a little goes a long way. It doesn’t oxidize, blends well, and stays in place throughout the day, requiring little to no touch up. For $1.25, it’s worth way more than that. I use it as my everyday foundation and I would say it’s comparable to drug store brands. Clinique lip gloss - I love Clinique lip gloss. This one has been a staple for a few years now. It leaves my lips moisturized, goes on smooth, has a non-sticky consistency and great pigment. I would repurchase if it weren’t for the 20 or so glosses I have to empty. LA Colors Contour Stick - As a newbie to contouring, this is perfect! Precise application, subtle color and glides on evenly and smoothly. The only drawback is I go through it quickly. If I use it every day it’s done in 2 weeks. It is a definite repurchase. It Cosmetics Face Primer - Will not repurchase. It’s just okay. I’ve used a lot better primers and this doesn’t stand out. I feel like I need to touch up with this primer and not so much with others. Dermasil Melon Jelly Cleanser - Will not repurchase. It doesn’t work for me because I wear makeup and it doesn’t foam or offer lubrication against my makeup. And it is drying on my skin. This might be good for someone who doesn’t wear makeup or a full face like I do. It works okay as a part of a triple cleanse but there are foaming cleansers that are more effective. Pure Cucumber and Green Tea body wash - I would repurchase this. It is comparable to Dove body wash IMO. It’s a solid body wash that lathers nicely, has a subtle smell that is pleasant, and gets you clean. Sheer Melon Cleansing Toner Pads - A holy grail repurchase! Unfortunately, I would only repurchase the original formula 😢. Since it’s been reformulated I guess I’m SOL. I have 6 on hand though. These pads smell so good! They have a noticeable melon scent & are super moist. They don’t irritate my skin and the pads are raised for good grip. They are my absolute favorite toner! Lady Speed Stick deodorant & antiperspirant - I would repurchase. I wear this at night as an antiperspirant to penetrate my skin while I sleep and then apply an aluminum free deodorant in the morning. Using it this way I do not sweat and do not have under arm odor so it works fantastic for me. Personal Care Shower Vapor Tabs - A game changer! I was born with a deviated septum and suffer from allergies when the weather makes dramatic shifts one day to the next. These tabs have been a lifesaver during the So Cal winter.
