This stick drift messes me up so bad. I cant do anything in the air OR in the ground anymore. Turns are extrelemley wide because it feels like someone is pushing opposite way against what I'm trying to do. In the air, my car keeps tilting down. This messes up my car control so bad, everything feels weird and I cannot play like this. Should I get a new controller? If so, do I get a PS5 controller for $70 CAD or do I get a PS4 controller for $90 CAD? Or is there a way for me to fix the stick drift via software? ——————Edit——————What I tried:—————— Callibration: I just tried using https://dualshock-tools.github.io/ but even after recallibrating the stick center, my left stick still keeps pushing upwards like crazy even when im not touching it. I also tried using https://driftguard.app/ . Cleaning: I tried using my electric air duster gun on the sticks to get every spec of dust out but it didnt do anything. Also tried opening the controller, using a cotton swab with ispropyl aclhohol, and cleaning off everywhere including around the sticks. Right now the options I have with my $150 CAD budget for a playstation layout controller are: the standard PS5 controller for $80 CAD from walmart the GameSir Tarantula Pro Multiplatform Controller TMR sticks controller for $90 CAD from GameSir the LEADJOY Saber Plus Wireless Controller 1000hz polling with TMR sticks for $75 CAD from GadgetHyper. All my PS4 controllers have broken down on me and I no longer have any working DualShock controllers left. I’m on PC and mostly play NBA 2K, so I really need a reliable replacement ASAP. Is Dobe actually a reputable brand or is it just another cheap third-party na mabilis din masisira? The price is tempting but I don’t want to repeat the same mistake. Intuitiveness for a PlayStation native — I’ve used DualShock/PS4 layout my entire life. If I switch to an 8BitDo, will the layout feel natural or will there be a big adjustment period? Medyo nag-aalala ako na baka mailang ako lalo na sa NBA 2K where muscle memory sa controls is pretty important. Is the price jump to the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 (₱1,995) worth it over the 2C (₱1,095)? Try to get one with a controller because the controllers are still pretty expensive. The cords are quite generic and easily replaceable so I wouldn't make extra effort to find one with cords. It costs $14.99/month or $134/year. If a friend or family member has a PS5 with PS+ you may be able to use the PS4 portion of the subscription. So I have this non-authentic (knockoff) PS4 controller. When I connect it to my PS3 with a USB cable, it works as expected. However, I noticed something odd. The light bar turns blue, which normally shouldn't happen when connected wired (it's supposed to be white) I tried to unplug the cable, then the controller just reconnects wirelessly on its own and continues working as if it were a PS3 controller. I never even tried to pair it via bluetooth! Even the PS button works too which shouldn't be possible in the first place. What's even stranger is that I can play PS3 games that don't support the DualShock 4 at all, like GT5. And the vibrations also works and as you can see in the video, I can turn on my PS3 with it. I've tried other PS4 controllers on my PS3, and they behave as they supposed to (no PS button, no vibration, manual pairing needed to use wirelessly) Then this specific controller works completely different.
