EDC Wallet Upgrade
After weeks of trying to make the Tom Bihn Ghost Whale (mini) work as my EDC wallet and micro tool pouch, I had to make some changes. The primary upgrade was the addition of the Alpaka Hub Pouch v2 (now w/ card slots). While larger than the Ghost Whale, the interior organization makes the added bulk 100% worth it. It also allowed me to move more tools into the wallet, and out of my pockets. HUGE UPGRADE! Outside (Photo 1) - Alpaka Hub Pouch v2 - Generic tracker card - CJRB Bolt - Casio Duro (aftermarket strap) - Ridge Key Organizer (Aluminum) - Ekster Key Tracker - Keyport MOCA micro-tool - Apple AirPods Pro Gen 2 - Generic AirPods Pro case Inside (Photo 2) - Band-Aids (4x) - ID/Insurance/Costco/CC - Antiseptic Hand Wipes (2x) - Lip Balm - Olight O’Pen Mini 2 - Generic pill tube - Olight i3T 2 EOS - Kent 20T folding comb Removed from original (Photo 3) - Tom Bihn Ghost Whale (mini) - NEBO Mini Larry 500 - Fenix E03R v2 (not pictured) - Pill Box - Zebra F301 Compact submitted by /u/Xander134 to r/EDC [link] [comments]

Make an external plate for Find My tracking
I wish ridge would make a find my external plate, rather than an internal card. I don't want another credit card inside the wallet. I'd also rather not have the bulk associated with an external tracker on the cash strap or clip. In the interest of having things be as thin as possible make the tracker card into an external plate. I do not at all care what my wallet looks like. I just want a thin, light, functional wallet. Having an extra card to manage doesn't make sense. The extra bulk of an air tag integrated into the strap or clip is also just too extra. Just make a track able plate. submitted by /u/chillaxtion to r/RidgeWallet [link] [comments]

Which is the better tracker?
I have a ridge and have loved it for the past 3 years but I am not looking to add some sort of tracker to it and I recently got some AirTags and have an extra so I was considering getting the AirTag money clip because I use the money clip already but my only hold up is how thick it is going to make the ridge be in a sense defeating the purpose of it being thin so I thought about getting a tracking card but I have never heard of someone have a good experience with them! If anyone has been in this same situation before any feedback would be great!! submitted by /u/J_ThePlug to r/RidgeWallet [link] [comments]

Ridge 1.0 vs 2.0
I have recently purchased a Ridge Wallet, but I think I received the 1.0 version with the old Ridge logo. What is the difference between the 1.0 and 2.0? Is the 2.0 better? Should I ask for a replacement, especially since the Ridge website didn't show the old logo item when I bought it? https://preview.redd.it/mmjj8bx00w6g1.jpg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=243a53c0b1bd2a4f768416b0aea255894f01e694 https://preview.redd.it/b28n1cx00w6g1.jpg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=185d8871a0a7a054dc259033d86afeaef3f85c63 https://preview.redd.it/evn7cmr20w6g1.jpg?width=2390&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bfebec2d6228843df36acb3e10c7cbe70fe0ebcc submitted by /u/mro168 to r/RidgeWallet [link] [comments]

Ashland Leathers One Off Lucky Card wallet in Garnet Shell
Just got this card wallet the other day in Garnet Shell. I love shell cordovan card wallets because I’ve been on the hunt for anything shell cordovan after I got my Maduro shell Diesel boots by Grant Stone. It fits 8 cards and a Ridge card tracker the seize of a credit card because I tend to lose my stuff easily. I bought the Ridge tracker especially for wallets because not all wallets can be Airtagged. This is my 2nd shell cordovan card wallet. The first ripped because I put in too many cards but I got them from Etsy. This wallet has a lifetime warranty so I hope these will last me the rest of my life. Wallet perfect because I rarely carry cash nowadays but the middle opens up and can fit bills folded in half. submitted by /u/Boots_4_me to r/wallets [link] [comments]

Joining the Ridge family! Made a small tweak to my wallet
Hey! So I got a titanium wallet and instead of cancelling the order to switch to MagSafe when I saw it was an option, I just bought aluminum MagSafe plates. I have my MagSafe on one side, and the Titanium on the other for back protection, and because it blends in with my black phone really well. I'm loving it so far! Though my Tracker Card isn't working quite right, that's been my only issue as of yet. Any suggestions? submitted by /u/Spiritual_Check_2461 to r/RidgeWallet [link] [comments]

Tracker Card
Hi, I've just bought a Black Damascus wallet along with the Ridge Tracker Card. How is Ridges tracker in comparison to other companies products? Will a Chipolo Card Point work in a Ridge wallet?
I have a Chipolo Card Point tracker on order that I want to use in a wallet. Chipolo uses Bluetooth, like the AirTags, but in a card format, and works with Android. I was thinking about getting a new carbon fiber Ridge wallet, and I want to use the Chipolo card with it. Will the RFID blocking of the Ridge block the Chipolo? submitted by /u/anotherlab to r/RidgeWallet [link] [comments]

BEWARE - Ridge - Tracker Card (false advertising)
I saw the UGREEN and other tracker cards listed at 1.7mm thick for around $21. Then I noticed Ridge offered one at 1.55mm. I know it’s only a 0.15mm difference, but I ended up paying twice the price—only to find out they’re falsely advertising the card’s dimensions. That, combined with all the posts about Ridge selling used wallets as new, has convinced me they’re not a company worth doing business with. Beware—I’d recommend staying away from their products. submitted by /u/esMazer to r/RidgeWallet [link] [comments]

Tracked card (ridge branded)
Does anyone have any experience with this? I just received my first order from ridge. Phone case, mag safe wallet, tracker card and battery pack. I was able to set the card up in find my just fine. Looks to be working. It is suppose to have a light that comes on and changes during various stages of charging etc. this does not happen. If I push the button on the card it blinks red but nothing while charging. Also. It is suppose to be like 95db and be heard from 300 feet away. I took it out of my wallet… did the “play sound” and I had to hold it to my face to hear it. Defective? Something I’ve done wrong? submitted by /u/Mattyxxl to r/RidgeWallet [link] [comments]

New ridge tracker cards
Hey guys, just had the new ridge tracker cards pop up on my socials. Currently running a carbon wallet with an AirTag attachment with of course adds a lot of bulk. Would definitely be interested to substitute the tracker card with my AirTag to thin it back out, but a bit apprehensive because of the RFID blocking on the ridge wallet. What are your thoughts? submitted by /u/Zealousideal_Age8960 to r/RidgeWallet [link] [comments]

Carbon Fiber Wallet + Tracker Card
As the title says - looking to have a tracker card (e.g. Nomad, Eskter) within my carbon fiber ridge wallet (airtag is too bulky). Will it work with the RFID blocking? Ridge Wallet with Tracker
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience using trackers such as the Tile Slim or the Eufy Card, and if they work well with ridge wallets? I was thinking of just using an airtag on the outside but i would like a tracker that i can put inside the wallet, and wasn't sure whether or not it would actually work due to the RFID protection? submitted by /u/XaptorDog to r/RidgeWallet [link] [comments]

The Ridge Wallet - DIY upgrade
So I just ordered the Ridge Wallet (www.ridgewallet.com) and I think it's almost perfect. I bought aluminum with the Cash Strap. The wallet is really great but there are two things missing. I was thinking If I can add them (at least the second one) somehow by myself: Place where you could attach/keep RFID cards (like metro cards/badges/bluetooth trackers). I'm not sure how bluetooth tracker will perform under the strap (or between the strap and the metal "holder" on the top). A hook or something, where I could attach a little chain or strap. Similar to the Dango Dapper wallet, here: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1981/3079/products/DSC_1670_fixi_grande.jpg?v=1504506984 Do you have any idea, suggestion, how can I create sucha hook by myself? I was thinking about the hole in metal strap cover, or in the strap. What do you think? submitted by /u/IshThomas to r/EDC [link] [comments]
