The actual reason the Seahawks won the Super Bowl is in this picture
I was watching Mic'd Up of the Super Bowl and I noticed this, which showed me why the Seahawks won. Here, in the middle around Safeties such as Julian Love, Nick Emmanwori and somewhere there Coby Bryant (who's also great), hides Quandre Diggs in street clothes. And it clicked, this is why they won. Diggs, used to be a full-time starter on this team (and others), and yes, while he's older now at 33, 33 doesn't mean you can't play anymore, if he couldn't he won't be in the NFL, he started for the Titans earlier this season too and asked to be released because they were losers. Here's my point - The fact the Seahawks elevated their team talented level so much, to the point that not only a full-time starter is now not starting anymore for them, he's not even PLAYING, he's in street clothes! heck, he isn't even on the active roster. Not that it prevents him from playing if needed, but they chose not to even play him because they have better options/talent on the team. Diggs on the bench shows how far the Seahawks talent level has come. P.S. Of course I'm being being facetious, the real (indirect) reason the Seahawks won the Super Bowl is the Russell Wilson trade leading to this. submitted by /u/MrStiff8 to r/Seahawks [link] [comments]

[Glazer] Communication between Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks security last year indicates DK Metcalf asked for that fan to be removed over a very derogatory comment... individuals around him stated and corroborated that the fan was being out of line and had said the derogatory statements.
"I actually have the security communication between the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks' security from a game last year when DK Metcalf, when he was with the Seahawks, complained about that exact same fan to security. And, at the time there, he asked for that fan to be removed over a very derogatory comment," Glazer said. "I'm not going to repeat what the comments are that are on here. Obviously, we don't condone ever hitting a fan or anybody else, but in this it says, ‘When we investigated during the game, the individuals around him stated and corroborated that the fan was being out of line and had indeed said these derogatory statements. They even asked us to remove the guy.’ submitted by /u/awak6n to r/nfl [link] [comments]

A source close to Metcalf says the fan, who identified himself to the @freep as Ryan Kennedy, called Metcalf’s mom a derogatory word and called Metcalf “something we both know you don’t call a black man.” The fan claims Metcalf was upset about being called his full legal name.
