I got one of these at TJMaxx (or one of their other stores). Works great.

Good deal. I have been buying these for a while and finding them comfortable to wear and got some great designs. Often got compliments from folks who want to buy. These are often cheaper and better quality than what I could find at Ross, Marshalls or TJMaxx.

The cards push has been horrible lately. My store wants 20 a day, which doesn’t make sense because we’re in the middle of nowhere and see the same customers every day but that’s besides the point. We recently got our reviews and for TJX cards, I actually got a good score. I aim for one card a shift, but sometimes I leave with none for the day. I try to make up for it by getting extra the next, but it is what it is sometimes. I don’t feel comfortable pushing or pressuring customers, I simply ask and if they seem interested then I’ll continue telling them more. Today just really irked me. I come in to hear managers and coordinators harassing everyone about the card, interrupting cashiers during their transaction to try and convince customers, etc etc. I was like, okay, that’s annoying but whatever. Then the manager pulled a bunch of us in their office to tell us we’re not doing good enough with TJX and we need to push harder. They want 1 card per hour, which??? A lot of people were moody and cranky over this and the vibes were totally off. The constant harassing for cards is getting really irritating and it’s making me want to find a new job which bums me out cause for the longest time I genuinely enjoyed working here. My coworkers feel the same way and are considering job searching. I guess the part that really bums me out is how nothing is ever good enough. You get one, they want three more. You get none and you’re wasting company time. But what really annoyed me was them literally telling me my numbers and how I should have way more TJX cards for the week. I was barely even there this week due to me giving some shifts up since I had commitments. How am I supposed to have a high card count if I wasn’t even here? and the day I was there I got 3! I don’t know. I guess I’m just sad. I don’t want to go in at all this week but I got a full schedule. It's simple really. Tjmaxx's CEO is bragging about record breaking profits while giving as few hours as possible to the hard workers who run the stores. let's make tjmaxx feel the squeeze that target did. you don't need anything in there. literally. there are no "basics" at tjmaxx or any of It's affiliate stores. Black women made target hurt so much that they are allegedly paying influencers to make it seen like the boycott is over. You as the consumer have the power in your hands, literally. Update: Thank you to all those who see the injustice and are willing to try and change something. I wasn't honestly expecting good feedback and I'm pleasantly surprised by the support. If it helps curb the consumerism at all, apparently tjmaxx also has blackrock ties. yes, that blackrock. So to anyone reading this I just want to rant and warning other not to be a stupid fool like me (this is my second time this exactly situation happened) I got scammed return today and it seem like the work of pro too 😮‍💨 To set the scene, first CCTV security guy just clocked out not long ago, second teamleader went to have a break so no supervisor at the till, third it was busy period (ik it wasn't excuse me I should always check but I slipped up), fourth she chooses me cus I am a new fool 😭😭 So she came to my till and hand me a tote bag and asking if I 'Know' the price. The tote bag usually sell near the cashier but im fairly new so I cant remember. I told her it should be the same as the other bag behind her :) She then proceeded with her return and doesn't want to bother me with checking the bag price. I've briefly check the items a normal top and a shoes. First sign I shouldn't take it as both looks visibly dirty however the price tag she chooses was a red markdown one so I assumed it's possible it been markdown cus it was dirty. Second sign is her receipt has been crossed off already but she claim they make a mistake and crossed it. I check for condition of the top and shoes, the top just a normal no brand top I should have check for the brand but it was busy so it slipped (my mistake), I check the shoes there's a number at the bottom the same as what we do in the shop and correct price tag. So I took her return without double check(huge mistake). When she realised it working she gave me another return a normal top too. And another one another top. I checking the ticket number and department it was all correct. Also she been talking a LOT with me too and say where she gonna go so need to be quick and how much she love shopping here. So once it's all done I told here I'll see her again then cus she love shopping here but now she's doesn't say anything back that's where I felt odd cus she been talking a lot before. So I only have a proper look on her return and all is bad especially the last one (how can I let that slipped it doesn't even have a label and other with labels but wrong brand tag fukkk) At that point I know Im done all I can do is asking someone to come print her return receipts for me so it's easier to check on CCTV and report it to teamleader as soon as he back 🥲 Honestly it really made me feel down cus it was a second time exactly the same happened and there's so many signs but I still let it slipped :( So to everyone don't care how long customers gonna wait but gotta check every single thing regardless, at least you'll never directly get in trouble for it (I hope I wont for this as well last time they called me for a talk in cctv watch me in 4k I felt super ashamed 😭) submitted by /u/o0Vzim0o to r/TjMaxx [link] [comments]
