When trading multiple accounts the group has to be selected on Tradovate as per picture. If I logout and login on another prop firm the group for that set of accounts becomes unchecked. Hi all, I’ve been trading spread betting for the past 5 years with consistent success and I’m now looking to transition fully into futures. Current style: Markets: NQ (micros + minis), DAX, Gold, Oil Timeframe: 1-minute chart Trade duration: typically under 5 minutes (very short-term scalping) Location: UK, but I travel frequently and want full flexibility globally What I’m looking for: Highly liquid markets with strong volume Reliable, reputable brokers (good support when things go wrong) A strong, established trading interface Access to all the markets above A solid trade copier setup (for mirroring trades to another account – e.g. my wife’s) Very fast execution (this is critical given my style) I’m not using prop firms — this will be real capital. Beginner Copy trading recommendations. Hey yall, more questions for ya! I plan on starting the PA account for the first time on Monday. \- I just passed my first eval, and I’m going to go ahead and get another eval done ASAP so I can connect 2 PA’s together to start with. I’m currently using Tradovate linked with trading view, I’m curious if there’s a way to link the tradovate/tradingview/copy trader that someone could recommend. My plan is to use 2 , 50K EOD accounts for the first week, and when I have success, I upgrade to 5, then hop up to 20. I’m trying to avoid trade copier problems such as for example, I sale on the leader account, and the other accounts at random don’t sell in time and I blow those 19 other accounts.. etc. Also sorry in advance if this is a common question, I promise I looked all over and couldn’t really find an awnser for people using the tradovate/tradingview platform together. Also, I’ve only every traded options with my own money but after discovering what futures is and what prop firms can do to a man, I’ve decided to hop on the bandwagon pretty late. So sorry about all the boomer questions. I’m just trying to escape the rat race one last time before I give up and move to Nam. My Plan : set max Profit to the minimum daily profit mark, Hit that mark for the day, and do that for 5 days. Request payout #1 When that plan works out, I will then Upgrade to more PA accounts. Unsure if the Apex guys will care if I’m perfect at $250 a day for 5 days, and I’m unsure if I should throw in a $300 day or other random numbers in there, but I guess I’ll figure that out when I request my first payout soon. TradingView is already the gold standard for charting. We use it for analysis, Pine Script, and alerts. But the second we need to manage multiple accounts (especially in the prop space), the experience falls apart. Right now, we are stuck with three bad options: Archaic Platforms: Switching to Sierra or NinjaTrader just for the copier (clunky UX). Fragmented Webhooks: Using 3rd-party bridge tools that add latency and points of failure. Broker-Side Integrations: Relying on platforms like ProjectX to "try" and build their own (which never have the same indicator/setting parity). The Vision: TradingView doesn't need to be a broker—it needs to be the Execution Hub. Imagine a "Master Account" toggle in the Trading Panel. You connect your Tradovate, IBKR, or Prop accounts, and your execution on the chart is mirrored across them natively. Why this matters: • Zero Parity Loss: No more "my indicator works on TV but not on the prop chart." • Total Monopoly: If TV offers a native, low-latency copytrading engine, there is zero reason for anyone to ever open another trading platform again. • Reliability: Native execution is always going to be faster and safer than a patchwork of webhooks. TradingView has the community and the tech. It's time to stop letting 3rd-party bridges fill the gap and build the "Gold Standard" execution engine we actually want. It's interesting that we pretend that is this is OK. That somehow the most ubiquitous trading platform is basically a piece of garbage that is costing us blood, sweat and tears. ProjectX had its issues but otherwise is a fighter jet compared to Tradovate's propeller plane status. Personally, I use copy trading VERY selectively ... but when I do need to use it , I dont want to be hassled with weird math and lack of OCO brackets. Trading is war.
