I got me a Vevor as well and am a glad I did watching the dirt that came of my vinyl. I had them manually washed in the past and they were stored properly for years not too long after that. Praising myself to have cleaned them before I let my new cartridge touch them. To me the cleaning is a relaxing activity adding to the tt experience.

Vevor discount codes to save up to 15% sitewide
Finally caved in to Vevor after my Harbor Freight floor jack started leaking, here are all the promo codes I have found when shopping for a new one: VVUS8 --> gives you an extra 8% off across the main store or many selected items. There’s no minimum spend, and it’s expected to work through at least December 2026 on vevor.com. VVUSNEW --> takes an extra 5% off new arrivals and recently added items. No minimum needed, making it a great option if you’re picking up the latest tools or gear. VVSS10 --> gets you a solid 10% off eligible orders. There’s no minimum spend, and it’s set to stay active into late 2026. VTOPUS --> saves you 8–10% on selected popular items like mechanic stools and tool sets. It applies only to certain products, but there’s no minimum and it’s currently active. VEVORAFF --> gives you 5–8% off across the store on multiple regional versions of the site. No minimum spend required, and it should remain valid through December 2026 or longer. SPBFCA8 --> takes 7–8% off during the Spring Black Friday event. It works on most eligible items with no minimum spend and is expected to expire around April 17, 2026. VVGG5 --> knocks 5% off any order and may also unlock free shipping perks. No minimum required for the discount, and it’s available on multiple regional versions of the site. VV2024OFF --> saves you a flat 5% on your entire purchase across different regional stores. There’s no minimum spend, and it’s expected to stay active through 2026. VVAF8NEW --> gives you 8% off either new arrivals or sitewide, depending on your region. No minimum spend, and it’s currently active. VEVOR15CA --> 15% off sitewide on the Canadian store with a 200 dollar minimum. Best limited deal for Canadians! VEVOR8OFF --> offers 8% off sitewide and works especially well across certain regional stores. No minimum required, and it’s available ongoing. VVAF8EU --> gives you a clean 8% off your total order. No minimum spend, and it’s expected to remain valid well into late 2026. What I bought and how it was The 880lb electric hoist was the first thing I got. Mine has been mounted in my garage for eight months and I've used it to pull an engine, lift sheet goods up to a storage loft, and hang a few heavy cabinets. The copper motor runs cooler than I expected and the wired remote has never given me grief. Saw it for around $89 on sale. Similar units from other brands run $150 to $200. This is the kind of product where Vevor genuinely wins. The 8-piece HSS lathe chisel set was another good purchase. Six out of eight were sharp enough to use straight out of the box, which I was fully not expecting. The handles are solid and the ferrules don't rattle. The parting tool is the parallel-sided type rather than diamond profile, which is a minor compromise, but at $36 it's hard to complain. Even at full price this set makes sense. The 5-in-1 heat press is one I bought for a side project making custom shirts. It has a 12x15 inch platen, rotates 360 degrees, and heats from 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. The 1050W element gets to temp fast and holds it consistently. The pressure knob actually has enough range to dial in different fabric thicknesses. I compared it against a friend's $400 PowerPress and honestly the output quality was the same on cotton tees. Where Vevor corners get cut is the instruction manual, which is nearly useless, but YouTube fills that gap within five minutes. The 10-ton hydraulic port-a-power I grabbed was $100. The equivalent from Matco runs well over $800 and I've seen people on machinist forums report seal failures on those expensive units within months. Mine has had zero issues after over a year of occasional use. This is the classic Vevor sweet spot: a simple hydraulic tool with no electronics, just steel and seals, and the price is absurd. What you should probably skip Anything with complex electronics or precision measurement is where quality control gets spotty. A friend bought one of their ultrasonic cleaners and it failed within a few weeks. Their caliper-type measuring tools are not worth the gamble when Mitutoyo exists. If you're using a tool professionally every day, the math doesn't work out in Vevor's favor over three years. The UV water purifier one person mentioned on BobIsTheOilGuy came with regular threads instead of pipe threads on the end caps, requiring a workaround. That kind of design copying error shows up more in their plumbing and water treatment stuff than in mechanical tools. submitted by /u/Juancsgo to r/SpendLess [link] [comments]

If you're thinking about buying the VEVOR record cleaner you might want to look elsewhere let me explain
So as I'm sitting here writing this I have a few issues with the VEVOR record cleaning machine that gives me some issues. First off the amount of decibels that comes out of the machine is dangerously loud. After using the machine and cleaning about 50 record or so I noticed my ears started to really hurt. After doing some research I found out the company does not offer any warning for sound as well as ear plugs to use this. My other issue I have and this is definitely not user error. The small arm that rotates on the motor that has one screw that holds it on popped right off and ruined a really nice record I had that was mint from 1968. Mind you I tried to tighten this screw down and it doesn't move anymore and ! re tightened it again. The screw sticks out farther than it should still even though it's tight. I pulled a record off the arm after cleaning and I got a nice mark on my record now that pretty much ruined it. Here are pictures of the good side of the record and the marked side now. Here is the arm also I will include in a picture of it. Im already in contact with VEVOR. Will update from there. submitted by /u/walterrocket440 to r/vinyl [link] [comments]

Vevor Store
Not Harbour Freight related but instead HF adjacent. Cheap tool provider Vevor has opened a retail location near Houston. I took a ride up there to check it out. I have no interior photos because they are not yet ready. it is a bunch of empty shelves and it looks like the target consumer is small business instead of home and hobbyist mechanics. They have a lot of restaurant supply items, landscaping materials, and some staff was setting up what looked like an elaborate cat scratching post. The big benefit that I can see is that it looks like you can ship things to this store and pick it up for a reduced cost or possibly free. I know that they're heavily on Amazon but for the large items that Amazon doesn't list, the retail store might be a good option. it's interesting to see them move into this space and traditionally Houston is not been a great target market for retail experimentation so we will see if this lasts but we will see. submitted by /u/canadian_xpress to r/harborfreight [link] [comments]

Vevor - Are They Really That Good?
Are Vevor tools really the way to go in a general sense? Curious to what y'all think. A buddy of mine got laid off and opened a handyman/remodeling company himself since he used to do that as a job in the past. Pretty much any time he needs he needs a new tool that he doesn't own, most recently an auger when he got a job to put up a a fence in a big back yard, and he swears by them. He was able to turn 2 days of post hole digging into half a day using the auger. I've got some wishlist tools and have been looking at their options myself. Just wanted to get others feed back on them. submitted by /u/StalkMeNowCrazyLady to r/Tools [link] [comments]

4 month update on Vevor floor tiles
Let me start by saying I use my garage for car detailing. There is zero wood working, machining, car jacks, etc done in here. The most I’ll do is change my oil in my truck but it just happens I haven’t done that yet. This is what I do in my garage, what you do in yours might not be best for this type of flooding AND THAT’S OK. Installed my Vevor tiles August 2nd, so a little over 4 months ago. I don’t actually wash the vehicles in the garage (no drain) but I do immediately pull them inside after washing them so plenty of water drops off of them. Having that water now below me when I start dragging cords and shop vacs around has been great. I used to have to squeegee all this water out and now it’s a non-issue. My next “test” has been a very snowy start to the winter here in the Midwest (NC IL). If you haven’t lived through the joys of pulling in a vehicle covered in snow, ice, sand and salt and then having that all melt off and leave literal piles of all of the above…count your blessings. It’s miserable and was a concern for me. I’m happy to say it really hasn’t been issue though. The “stuff” fell through the cracks and what didn’t I just swept into the cracks. I tried to show in the photos how it looks but honestly there’s not much to see. Come spring I’ll pull a few big sections out into my driveways and sweep the floor but it doesn’t seem like it’ll be a huge ordeal. Like I said, it’s only December but we’ve already surpassed last year’s entire winter snow amount. I did break one of the tiles when I accidentally chucked a 6’ step ladder across the garage while battling Christmas light extension cords. It wasn’t my proudest moment but sometimes ya just gotta throw something. I have extras, I just need to replace it one of these days. I’ve also learned not to really crank the wheels or sometimes a few tiles will pop out of place. And just now I have the floor a quick mopping because the floor was looking pretty dirty but that took less than 5 minutes. Long story short; so far so good. submitted by /u/CarJanitor to r/garageporn [link] [comments]

Vevor Inflatable Tent
I’ve had this tent for 2 weeks. It’s been outside in the environment the entirety of the time experiencing rain and 30mph wind gust. Overall amazing tent, no complaints. Pros: Huge, couch room for activities. The wood stove keeps area super warm when consistently ran. All assembly pieces are super efficient and interchangeable with ease. Genuinely comfortable glamping tent and perfect for families/dogs. Cons: A bit heavy, have to find exact automatic air pump to work otherwise you’ll use manual pump(not terrible but it’s a workout), if gust of wind persist concern that tent may not be stable. submitted by /u/HawaiiVet1993 to r/camping [link] [comments]

VEVOR is not a scam, sharing my experience
I’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions on VEVOR here and elsewhere, so just wanted to chime in with my two cents after a few purchases. Picked up a bench vise and a rotary tumbler from them over the past year, both arrived quickly and worked as expected, build quality isn’t Milwaukee or DeWalt level, but for the price, it’s hard to complain, I’d put it in the “good value” category~ not premium, not junk. Customer service isn’t super polished, but I haven’t had issues that needed a return yet, definitely not a scam, just budget tools that can be worth it depending on what you need. Never Use VEVOR, They Are a Scam!
They are most definitely a scam company. This is the reason. They do not honor guarantees or warranty or return policies that they state on their products and website. If you actually have something break or arrive damaged or unusable, this is where their scam comes in. They will offer you a 60% refund or some amount of a partial refund. They have no ability to handle or process returns or refunds or warranties at all yet they falsely advertise that their products have a guarantee or advertise a return policy that in reality is non existent. There have never been any products that have successfully been returned or fully refunded. They offer you a partial refund, then they stop answering you when you say you want to return it. I had this happen to me. I had to go through a 3 month long process of doing a charge back on my card because the $400 item I bought arrived broken and not usable. They advertised a quality guarantee and a "no hassle return within 30 days no questions asked". When it arrived broken, I wanted to send it back for a full refund. They weren't able to provide a return label. Their support is trained to give you the runaround and offer a small % of the total price as compensation. This is not ok when the product doesn't work at all and I didn't accept a partial refund. Their support then ghosted me (stopped responding). I told them "if you do not provide me a return label within 2 days, I am doing a charge back for fraud). They didn't respond and I did the charge back. They tried to fight the charge back. I had to provide my saved screenshots of their return policy and "no hassle no questions asked returns within 30 days" to my bank to win the dispute. They wasted many hours of my life. This is why they are truly a scam company. Yes they actually send products, but they don't stand behind the guarantees, warranties and return policies. They will make your life a living hell. AVOID VEVOR AT ALL COSTS! submitted by /u/davidrcross to r/Tools [link] [comments]

***WARNING: Do Not Buy DIRECTLY from Vevor WARNING***
If you are considering a Vevor product, buy on Amazon if you want that product. Vevor is a complete jerk-around artist with any returns. It appears to work to make returns hard. I bought a 7-in1 wand for my daughter for Christmas. It no longer powers up. I sent a message to Vevor asking to return the product because it no longer powers up. I received back a message--likely automated--they sent back included the following: ". . . we would like to work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. To better understand the problem, we kindly request that you follow the steps below: 1.Please provide us with a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing with your item. 2.Kindly take a clear picture of the item code and packing slip on the outer packaging of your item." There may be a slight price break buying directly from Vevor. Don't fall for it. If the Amazon price is slightly higher, it is because returns are easier. But I don't have the packing slip (was never told to keep). I also didn't want Vevor to "work with me"; I wanted it to replace the dud product. So, I might be out $20 or $25 for product. Don't you make the same mistake I did! At best, you might find Vevor returns a time-wasting, pain in the ass. submitted by /u/BKM-StLouis to r/redlighttherapy [link] [comments]

Do not waste your money on Vevor pocket jig
My old plastic kreg jig was getting worn out and I wanted something a bit more sturdy. Bought this kit with the base for fairly cheap. Well it is cheap. I literally drilled ten holes and noticed more metal every time. I was drilling into 2x4 to use as braces so not a critical joint or anything. So into the scrap bin it goes.
