Got it for $10 on depop listed in excellent condition. Regretfully, i did not inquire about the condition nor did i notice this mark on the listing upon purchasing. Listing did not mention any signs of wear and im pending a response from the seller to confirm exactly what this kiss mark is. Like is it from melanie martinez? 😭 It was shipped in a bubble polymailer so one of the corners is pretty bent and the wear makes it seem like it was living in a car trunk. I want to achieve this natural flushed lip look that kind of resembles a British kid freezing in the cold: slightly rosy, natural-looking, with lip lines and texture still visible. I don't want anything super saturated or obviously "lipstick-y", just my lips but better. My lips are naturally quite red and fairly small. In general, lip products don't really suit me and often make me feel like I'm wearing "makeup lips", or like a man wearing lipstick (nothing wrong with men wearing lipsticks I am just not trying to look like that), on other girls lipsticks and gloss look feminine and plush and gorgeous. Because of that, I usually go out with bare lips and focus my makeup on my eyes. Some lip products I've liked in the past: Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Rose Addiction (018) – basically my lip colour, but slightly browner. Maybelline Vinyl Ink in Cheeky (35) – very close to my natural lip colour when swatched on my hand, but it pulled a little too cool-toned on me and gave me a slight "corpse lips" effect which I didn't like. Maybelline Lifter Liner in Line Leader (06) – a nice MLBB shade, though a bit pinker than I'd ideally like. Labello Cherry Shine – I like this one. Labello Blackberry Shine – not a fan; it looks too purple on me. Almost every lip product I use ends up getting blotted and blended because I prefer a very soft, blurred finish. I know the lipstick used in the look I'm trying to recreate is Clinique Black Honey, but it's unavailable in my country. I've been looking at the Maybelline Lifter Glaze Lip Oil Balms and can't decide between Acai Glaze (008) and Espresso (010) or any other shade. People say Acai Glaze is a Black Honey dupe, but I'm worried it'll pull too cool-toned and purple on me, similar to Blackberry Shine. On the other hand, Espresso looks like a more wearable brown, but I'm concerned it might be too dark or too obviously brown since I'm fair-to-medium and it doesn't seem to have much red or pink in it. Based on the shades I've liked and disliked, which one do you think would suit me better? I (19f) have a younger sister (10f). I left my parents' house 3 years ago to go to college but I still come home very often, at least once a month/once every 2 weeks. My room was left exactly as it was, clean and tidy. For the past year, every time I have come home (more or less) I have found something of mine broken in my room. It could be my books that were in a terrible state, all my old notes from high school that I meticulously kept thrown on the floor, my legos completely destroyed with pieces missing, she even broke one of my vinyls. It made me so angry every single time because I'm really careful with my stuff, and I like to keep it in a good condition. She also destroyed a lot of things that had value, either real value or sentimental value. Recently, she's been playing with my makeup. Every time I leave anything behind she takes it and puts it all over her face, she breaks my lipsticks, empties my concealers, puts my glittery eyeshadow all over the rest of my stuff, and so on and so forth. She gets yelled at for it every time, and yet she continues to do the exact same thing over and over again. I tried taking everything away. The stuff that I cared about in my room I took with me to college, or I locked away so that she wouldn't have access to it. I lock my room every time I leave my parents' house. I never leave my makeup bag in the bathroom, or anywhere she can access it anymore. But still, if I look away for a split second, if she has the slightest opportunity to ruin something of mine she does it. I don't know why she does that. She's been seeing therapists and all that kind of stuff for a while now because she keeps acting like this, following impulse and creating huge messes all the time, but I still don't really know why. I thought maybe it was revenge, to show me that she's mad at me for leaving. She doesn't really do that as much with everyone else's stuff. But anyways, I decided that since she couldn't stop breaking my stuff, I would lock my room all the time and when I came home I'd only go where she wasn't. My parents are divorced, so whenever she's at my dad's I'd go to my mom's and vice versa. She's been crying since I told her and keeps screaming at me that I'm mean and the worst big sister ever. My parents think that I'm being a little harsh on her, and that I won't actually stick to it, but I really intend on it. I know that she's just a child and that she probably doesn't mean to do all that stuff but I'm genuinely so tired of it. She has broken hundreds of dollars worth of my stuff, and I just want it to stop, and since she won't stop by herself the easiest solution is to never see her anymore. I know it might seem ridiculous that I'm going to such lengths when at the end of the day it's just stuff, but it meant a lot to me and it makes me so angry and frustrated every single time that I don't want to deal with it anymore. Does that make me a bad person? Edit: Just a little clarification on some points because some people have been wondering/assuming things about this and I just want to set the record straight. My parents got divorced when she was 3, so she never really knew another situation than how things are now, and it's not like, a recent thing or anything. The divorce was also not messy at all, and my parents are still friends and see each other really often, we go on holidays with both of them together, they often eat at each other's houses etc. Not to say that it doesn't have any impact on her but I don't think it's the cause to her behavior because the situation has been the same for years but she only started acting like this recently. I also saw people saying that it must be hard for her to now be alone with my parents and want to clarify: I have two other siblings (17 and 13) with who she is close and spends a lot of time. Another thing I wanted to clarify is that she's not neglected, my parents actually spend a lot of time with her, as well as my grandmother and my other siblings. She is never home alone, and if she is it's never for more than a few minutes. I bought almost all shades of this liquid lipstick, each one 3x. I still have the option to cancel my order but somehow I can't. Please convince me to cancel this order. I bought these lipsticks about a year ago, and they were my favorite. They lasted a long time, even after eating, weren’t drying, and worked well with other products. But now, they barely produce any pigment (as shown in the 3rd photo), no matter how long I shake them (the instructions say to shake for 30 seconds). Only the gloss effect stayed. I’ve been looking for a PERFECT natural looking liquid lip shade that’s not too light or dark on my lips. - Longevity: 99999/5: I wear it to hospital duty, mask proof, food proof. I wore it at 8am and it’s still there after dinner after duty 9pm. I’ve seen this lippie lying around on nurses’ and doctors’ areas. - Finish 99999/5: comfortable, not drying like matte lippies or lip tints, doesn’t cling to dry patches, lightweight. For a lippie this long lasting, the comfort is unmatched at this price point. I call it an anti-haul because I only checked out once. I’m good for another year or until I empty this. After watching so many videos about Maybelline vinyl lipstick I was finally convinced into buying it! I ordered it during sale so I got it around 650! It came today I tried it like directed, shaked for 5 seconds, applied on bottom lips and then on top didn’t smack my lips while applying it. So disappointed with the texture it is nothing as advertised, not as glowy ( it can be easily substituted by applying a gloss on top of a matte lipstick), it smells disgusting. It is similar to Maybelline super stay matte ink - just not matte. It is so sticky and heavy, I can feel my lips getting muscles due to all the weight it’s carrying. All in all feels like I ate a chewing gum and stuck it on my lips. Eh. Lakmé mini melts is so much cheaper but the formulation is gold- apply a gloss on top and you are good to go.
