Wearable pumps for larger breasts?
I currently have the spectra s1 for a main pump however I am very often on the go where wearables would be more efficient. I mostly breast feed but would love the option when out/away from baby to pop something in a bra and continue doing whatever. I was looking into the eufy s1pro, m5s, or willow go. I’m a 40h and did not honestly think about the possibility of wearables not working very well or fitting well. submitted by /u/EducationalPanda24 to r/breastfeeding [link] [comments]

Wearable Breast Pump Recommendations
I finally got the insurance approval to order my breast pump and am looking for recommendations! My best friend gave me the Blue Spectra that she used last year when her little one was born so I figured I’d use the insurance provided one to get a wearable option! These are the ones my insurance will cover through Aeroflow: -Medela Pump In Style Pro+ Hands Free or freestyle hands free -Willow sync wearable or Willow Go -Momcozy M5, M6,M9 (mobile flow), S9 Pro, S12 Pro -BabyBuddah wearable -Spectra Premier Wearable -Elvie stride or stride 2 -Lansinoh Discreet Duo -Zomee Fit -Motif Aura Glo Let me hear the nitty gritty if you’ve used any of these! submitted by /u/countrybuckeye2009 to r/ExclusivelyPumping [link] [comments]

Seeking breast pump advice
I’ve been researching breast pumps for a while and I feel like I need to decide and order one soon. I’ve read a lot of reviews but I’m hoping that I can get some more personal, definitely unsponsored reviews and suggestions here. Free with my insurance: Ameda Mya Joy Plus Lasinoh Discreet Duo Lasinoh Signature Pro Lasinoh Smart Pump 3.0 Thrive 2 in 1 Medela Pump in Style Motif Duo Zomee Z2 Under $200 with insurance: Baby Buddha 2.0 Cimilre S6 and S6 Plus Elvie Stride and Stride 2 Medela Swing Maxi Handsfree Momcozy M5 Momcozy M6 Momcozy S12 Pro Motif Luna (with battery as well) Spectra S1 Plus Spectra S2 Spectra S9 Willow Go Willow Sync Zomee Fit Right now I’m leaning toward the Spectra S1 Plus. I’m looking for something that can be portable, as I’ll be returning to work pretty soon after baby boy is born :( so a battery or car adapter is a must, preferably a battery. I am very interested in and curious about wearables though! They seem so convenient and nice. However, I hear they’re not very strong and I’m worried about getting one before I know how breastfeeding is going. Right now my plan is to breastfeed baby as much as possible and only pump when necessary, but I’m not sure if things will go as planned so I want to have a nice, strong pump in case I end up pumping more than I expect. Unless you guys think I can get away with just a wearable? This is my first baby so I’m not sure of anything! Open to advice and anecdotes. If you’ve used any of these pumps, let me know what you think! Thank you and sorry this was so long submitted by /u/Mean-Year4646 to r/Buyingforbaby [link] [comments]

Which hospital grade breast pump with no leak do you recommend?
My post got removed from other subs for no reason I can tell, so I’m really hoping I can ask for help here instead. I’m a 3 weeks postpartum mom, exhausted from pumping around the clock. My baby was a month early, super small and light, and I’ve been struggling with low milk supply. It’s been so stressful. Yesterday I saw someone post online with their hospital grade pump, and the amount of milk they got was just shocking. They didn’t even have to hold it while pumping. I’m currently using a basic cheap pump, and I’m starting to wonder if that’s holding me back. I’ve been looking into better pumps like Momcozy, Willow, and Elvie. I’m a dentist so I can invest in something good, and I love the idea of sticking with one reliable brand long term. Momcozy’s whole “high quality care for moms and babies” really stood out to me. I see their M5 and M9 have apps, people call them the best hands free wearable pumps, and they’re covered by insurance. After reading so many comments here, I’ve learned so much already. A lot of you warned me not to trust those huge milk stash videos online because many are fake or just for views. Everyone’s supply is different, and that’s totally okay. Many of you said pump quality does matter, but wearable pumps might not empty you as well as a hospital grade pump like Spectra. Some love Momcozy for convenience and being hands free, especially for work or on the go. Others said to start with a Spectra first since it’s a real workhorse, then use a wearable for extra flexibility. Some people recommended Baby Buddha, Motif, Eufy, and even renting a Medela Symphony from the hospital. A lot of you stressed how important flange sizing is, and to drink tons of water and pump every 2 to 3 hours to build supply. A few people said not to use a wearable as my main pump, but they’re great for being out or at work. I also saw mixed experiences — some love Momcozy M5 or M6, others didn’t get along with their older models. I’m still learning and feeling a little lost, but I really appreciate all the advice so far. Does anyone else have anything else to add? Any real life experiences you wish you knew before choosing a pump? I’d be so grateful for more tips. No promotion, no links, just a tired mom asking for real experiences submitted by /u/FinalRadio7311 to r/newborns [link] [comments]

Wearable breast pumps
Hey mommas! I’m a first time mom and trying to decide which wearable breast pump to buy. I’ve read tons of reviews online and watched a bunch of videos but I’m still torn on the following pumps: (1) Willow go wearable, (2) momcozy M5, (3) momcozy M9, or (4) eufy s1 pro. Please share your thoughts if you’ve tested out any of these pumps! Thank you! 😊 submitted by /u/Magical_chocolate to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

Wearable Breast Pumps Medela InBra vs Willow Go [on]
I’m looking at Medela Magic InBra, Medela Motion InBra, and the Willow Go for a wearable breast pump. This would be my secondary pump for when I’m not able to use my plug in pump. What’s everyone’s thoughts of those pumps? Pros and cons? Any suggestions for something equivalent. submitted by /u/SB-96 to r/BabyBumpsCanada [link] [comments]

Looking for help selecting a wearable pump
Hello! I breastfed my first for ~14 months (and pumped when returning to work or to have some extra milk in the fridge/freezer). I used a spectra. I still have it and plan to use again. Now that I’m having a second baby with a toddler around though, I think a wearable pump will be a big asset! Especially since my insurance will pay all or most of the cost. I’m looking for opinions on the following options and whether it’s worth it to pay extra for the more premium pumps. I’m willing to pay but if it’s not necessary I’d also be very happy to choose one that’s fully covered! Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Wearable Pump - $0 Medela Swing Maxi Hands-free Breast Pump - $0 Medela Freestyle Hands-free - $140 Willow 360 Leak-proof Wearable Double Electric Breast Pump - $265 Willow Go Wearable Breast Pump - $140 Elvie Stride Hands-free Breast Pump - $0 Elvie Double Electric Breast Pump - $315 Zomee Fit Wearable Breast Pump - $0 submitted by /u/mom23mom to r/HumansPumpingMilk [link] [comments]

I am 28 weeks tomorrow so I am able to order my breast pump through my insurance, but I have no idea on what’s the best one or what to look for, I was looking at the Elvie Stride 2. Letdown issues- willow go vs alternative pump (plugin?)
TLDR- do you get better letdown with a wired pump over a wearable (willow go)? With my first child three years ago, I breast-fed easily for three months while I was home, and when I went back to work, my output dropped off significantly. A big part of the problem was that I’d often get zero output with my Willow Go, which was the only pump I’ve ever tried. (There were other times when I’d get great output though). At that time, I thought I just had low supply, but I now think it was more an issue of triggering a letdown. Now, with my newborn, I’ll sometimes get almost no output with the Willow Go, then I’ll nurse and she’ll get a ton of milk out. So the question is— should I invest in another pump to see if it will be better at triggering a letdown? Should I get an another wearable vs a plugin like spectra? I will also do all the things to help with letdown like relaxing, looking at pictures, listening to crying, etc. Thank you all! submitted by /u/djtink to r/ExclusivelyPumping [link] [comments]

Breast Pump Choice!
First time mom, trying to choose a pump through the options provided with insurance. Important considerations, I'm a highschool teacher, so may not have a break for pumping for 6 hours or so. But I will have constant access to a full kitchen with fridge and laundry facilities (I teach Food & Nutrition). My mom was a low producer, so idk if I'll follow suit. If it matters, I'm already a bra size E/F. I want something that's fairly easy and will last so I don't have to deal with warranty and returns. Lmk the pros/cons and your favorites! If it's not on the list, I can add it to the registry and maybe someone will pick it up for us. The options I have are: Ameda Mya Joy Plus Baby Buddha 2.0 Cimilre E1 Cimilre S6 Lansinoh Wearable Lansinoh Discreet Duo Medela Freestyle Medela Pump In Style Pro Double Motif Aura Spectra 9 Plus Spectra Premier Wearable Spectra S1 Spectra S2 Spectra SG Swing Maxi Unimom Minuet Unimom Opera Willow Go Zomee Fit Zomee Z2 Shabbat Mode Zomee Z2 Silicone Hands Free submitted by /u/Damnit_Bird to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

Breast pump for second baby: wearable or portable?
Tell me about how you chose a secondary pump! My Spectra from my first birth is still in great condition, so I’m excited to use insurance to try something different this time around. My first didn’t take a bottle, so I ended up doing very little pumping. I’m staying home again with our second so I won’t need to pump on the go very often, but I would like to offer her a bottle every other day or so. I’m wondering if a wearable pump would be much more convenient for pumping around the house while possibly caring for my toddler or doing chores, or if a portable would work just as well (while pumping more efficiently). Comfort and ease of cleaning/maintenance are considerations too. My insurance would fully cover the Baby Buddha 2.0 or the Willow Go, so I’m mostly deciding between those two. Would love to hear reviews on either of those if you’ve used them! Thanks! submitted by /u/Ento_mom to r/moderatelygranolamoms [link] [comments]

Breast pumps
I’m 27 weeks and a FTM so looking for advice/recommendations since I have no experience with this. I am thinking of purchasing the Spectra Synergy Gold through insurance (I will have to pay some extra out of pocket) plus the Willow Go Wearables. I would like to have a really good plug in pump for home use as well as a wearable pump. does this sound like a good set up or are there any alternatives that people love more? submitted by /u/dickeychapelle to r/Buyingforbaby [link] [comments]

I hate how expensive breast pumps are when there's no guarantee they will work
I've been EBF my baby since they were born, with the occasional bottle in the beginning while my milk was coming in. We're approaching the time I need to get back to work and so I've been looking for a handsfree pump. The pediatrician believed I might be an oversupplier since baby tends to spit up frequently and I'll still pump extra too. I spent HOURS researching the best handsfree/ in bra pumps that would work for me. It sucks that we can't try them out once, hold them, or even see many of them in stores. It's just sheer luck if it work for your body or not. I ended up buying the Willow Go and hate it. I knew it had lots of pieces to wash which wouldn't bother me if it worked! My milk output is about a fraction of what it normally is when I pump with my Ameda MyaJoy. It's also very heavy which I've never seen mentioned. I probably would've gone with the Medela had I been able to hold them and physically compare before buying. These pumps are expensive. I understand that they can't and shouldn't be returned, but there's got to be something these companies can do for their buyers. I'm now out $300 for a pump that I used for 25 minutes! I just wish I hadn't bought another pump when I already have one that works, even if I'm connected to a bunch of tubes and wires. Edit: I really only made this post because I had such buyers remorse with the Willow Go and their customer service with me was atrocious. Thank you so much for making me not feel so alone in this. I’m still going to continue trying to sell the pump in those fb groups or online where I can. The thing is, my Ameda MyaJoy is technically a wearable but I have a velcro baby and can’t hold them while trying to pump. So I was looking for a suitable in bra one. Guess I’ll just stick with the Ameda though since I know it works. submitted by /u/magicalmoxie to r/ExclusivelyPumping [link] [comments]

Breast pump I can use while sleeping & laying down
I’m 35 weeks pregnant FTM. I want a breast pump I can use while laying down (on my back or side) that won’t be too painful. I’d like to sleep while using it. My husband has 3 months paternity leave & can put the breast pump on me while I’m sleeping so my sleep is not interrupted. I have bipolar disorder and my psychiatrist told me she doesn’t want me to wake up for night breastfeedings to prevent post-partum psychosis. I assume pumping would be much faster than breastfeeding at the beginning. My plan is to have my husband use the pump on me at night the first few weeks to increase my supply and I’ll breastfeed while I’m awake. Even if I’m half-awake during the night pumping sessions, I’d be okay with that if it was just for 15-20 min of laying down while using the breast pump and then I could fall back asleep. I take a very sedative bipolar medication at night that knocks me out and am an extremely heavy sleeper, so what would make most women wake up likely wouldn’t wake me up. ALSO: How often in the first 2 weeks would we need to pump to establish my supply? After that, can I sleep 9 hours straight? What do you think? Here are the hands-free breast pumps my insurance will pay for: Willow Go Wearable breast pump (I’d buy the spill-proof milk bags to use with it) Freemie Independence II hands-free double electric Medela Freestyle hands-free double electric Lansinoh wearable Zomee Fit wearable I’m willing to get one not on my insurance as well if there is a better one that works for sleeping/laying down! Also if there’s a non hands-free one that would work while laying down please let me know! I just assumed the hands free ones would work best. submitted by /u/lizziesanswers to r/ExclusivelyPumping [link] [comments]
