Air Canada might be pretty good airline
Look, their soft product on long haul range is nowhere near Asian or European standards, but their customer service (in Spanish), somewhat flexibility even on bare bones rates, App experience (which is probably the best airline app I’ve ever used), and competitive rates to Europe, has earned my love. I’ve flown over 70 airlines in the last 5 years, so I do not say this lightly. There’s still a long list of things AC can improve, but definitely has some sides of the business and passenger experience completely figured out. I also loved they have the full seasons of shows available on their IFE; I hate it when they just add 3 or some random non consecutive episodes. If I had to rank american airlines, they would rank first above Delta (close second) and LATAM (not even close third). I also have a sweet spot for Avianca and their miles program, despite how incredibly awful their planes are. Anyway, Air Canada is pretty good.
