It's unreal how hot she still is. She was in the opening scene of the series premiere for Buffy. I immediately had a crush on her. That was 29 years ago. I was just starting puberty. Now I'm just starting to get gray hairs and arthritis. And she's still a smoke show.

RE:What do women mean by "romantic"?
I’ve not had cause for romantic for a long time. I am glad I dated and such before these dating apps. Of course I married when I was 21, so maybe I’m no authority. One thing I do is open the door for my wife. Hold her hand when my arthritis permits. We have both put real work into our relationship over 30 years of marriage.

I have really large fingers due to arthritis, and I feel like I can't even begin to learn any string instruments because my fingertips always touch the other strings. Are there any accessories that can help?
I've heard plenty comments about my fingers so put your jokes on hold please. Is there maybe some kind of fingertip accessories for problems like this, or should I get a chord presser? Any other suggestions very appreciated submitted by /u/Smexy_Zarow to r/Guitar [link] [comments]

What bothers you most about knee arthritis? I'm losing my mind here
I'm 52 and was diagnosed with knee arthritis 3 years ago. Some days I feel like I'm going crazy because nobody really understands how much this affects EVERYTHING. I can't sleep through the night anymore - I wake up at 2-3am because my knees are throbbing and I can't find a comfortable position. Then I'm exhausted all day. Mornings are the worst. I have to sit on the edge of the bed for 10 minutes just to get my knees moving. My husband doesn't get why I'm so slow and grumpy in the morning. But honestly, what's killing me most is that I look fine on the outside. People think I'm exaggerating or lazy when I can't do things I used to do easily - like going up stairs or standing at my daughter's soccer games. What's the #1 thing that bothers YOU most about your knee arthritis? Is it the pain? The stiffness? Not being able to do activities you love? The sleep issues? The way people don't understand? The fear it's only getting worse? I just want to know I'm not alone in this and what other people struggle with most. Maybe knowing what hits hardest for others will help me feel less crazy. submitted by /u/Acrobatic-Chard-2500 to r/Osteoarthritis [link] [comments]

If you were just diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, this is the part no one explains clearly
I see a lot of newly diagnosed RA patients feeling overwhelmed, scared, and disheartened — not because of the diagnosis itself, but because of how fragmented the information is. A few things I wish to explain to every patient early on in treatment: • RA symptoms don’t always match lab results: hence sero-negative Rheumatoid Arthritis • Treatment is about preventing damage & improving quality of life, not just controlling pain • Medications sound scary, but uncontrolled inflammation is riskier & can have more long term consequences • Flares don’t mean treatment failure submitted by /u/Arthritis_Doc to r/Thritis [link] [comments]

[McMenamin] Lakers' LeBron James ruled out vs. Spurs with multiple injuries (arthritis and sciatica)
Source: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/47544724/lakers-lebron-james-ruled-vs-spurs-multiple-injuries SAN ANTONIO -- LeBron James will not play against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday with the Los Angeles Lakers citing multiple injuries for the 41-year-old star. James was downgraded to out about an hour and a half before tipoff because of left foot joint arthritis and right sciatica. James missed the first 14 games of the season because of the sciatica that affects his lower back and down his right leg. He has yet to play in both legs of back-to-back games on the Lakers' schedule since making his return. submitted by /u/ashwinr136 to r/nba [link] [comments]

Said goodbye to my boy yesterday Little Peter 14. I hate arthritis so much
Ive had this little guy since he was a kitten. From finding you and your siblings in my backyard.. socialized you through the fence, fed you everyday.. Eventually you invited yourself in to our house. For 12 years you were an indoor outdoor cat, until we noticed you had arthritis. Eventually you couldn't walk anymore from nerve damage in your spine, but we still took care of you. We learned to care for you. With puppy pads we, and lots of towels you realized it was okay to use the bathroom in the house. You learned to tell us when you were hungry, and wanted to be carried outside.. You got so excited for churu, and treats. 2 weeks ago we noticed you started slowing down more than usual.. Although we had to mentally prepare a long time ago that we would have to let you go I wasn't ready to say goodbye my sweet little otter. I know we made the right decision yesterday, but I can't stand hating i couldn't do more for you. Give lots of cuddles to your dog sisters, and siblings who passed. I love you so much my sweet boy. submitted by /u/LuluIOmega to r/SeniorCats [link] [comments]

It’s officially confirmed, I have rheumatoid, arthritis… So now, what?
I don’t really have many symptoms. I only really had nodules in my fingers and one of them didn’t even hurt and all the bloodwork and test came back and it’s confirmed that I have it. I’m getting a rheumatologist, but like what do I do next? How do I navigate this. How much will my life change? I don’t have any pain or real symptoms. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to manage this, because I don’t even really understand what this is. Do I have to be on medicine is that something that’s necessary, regardless of what the symptoms are?. Who can I talk to about this. I feel so stressed and alone. submitted by /u/Traditional_Act9675 to r/rheumatoid [link] [comments]

What does arthritis feel like?
Could anyone diagnosed with arthritis please tell me what does the pain feel like? I’ve been experiencing joint pain (mostly in my fingers and now the backs of my hands) weekly for over two years now. I did see a doctor a while ago but he only asked for blood tests and then said I had nothing (my mom’s had the exact same experience with that doctor). I keep wondering if I’m exaggerating it but the pain does feel very much real and it just won’t go away so I wanted to know what real arthritis feels like for me to be able to compare it to what I feel. submitted by /u/Leading-Pangolin-466 to r/Hypermobility [link] [comments]

Terrified about likely rheumatoid arthritis... life expectancy
So I asked some people about my severely receding chin, and it's kind of sent me on a rabbit hole by seeing exactly what has caused it, and considering my other symptoms it's very likely that I have Rheumatoid arthritis. Even worse is that I'm only 27, if it's starting now... just how long am I going to live for? I've got a receding chin that's likely Idiopathic Condylar Resorption, I've been told "ICR is often linked to autoimmune conditions like RA. Given your other joint-related pains and symptoms, I recommend you see a doctor and possibly a rheumatologist to rule out/in autoimmune conditions, in addition to seeing an OMFS for your jaw." My main symptoms in addition to my receding jaw are: Constant clicking and stiffness in joints in fingers, elbows, and knees. Extreme tiredness/fatigue that doesn't seem to be helped by sleep. When I do wake up, I find it a struggle to actually want to get out of bed. Often as soon as I start to get up, I feel like I wish I was back in the bed again. Random pains in my joints, sometimes coming and going. Frequent urination, needing to pee often. Does anyone have experience with this disease and getting diagnosed with it at a young age? I am terrified my life expectancy will be severely reduced and my quality of life being reduced. I'm also scared about the NHS backlog and not being seen before this gets any worse. I've got a booking with my GP for the 30th, but I wish I could be seen sooner. Are there private blood tests for RA that I can get done now? submitted by /u/SW-Dragonus to r/rheumatoidarthritis [link] [comments]
