What are the Best Teeth Whitening Now? Recommendation?
I’ve been looking into teeth whitening products lately and honestly, the more I read, the more confused I get. There are so many options out there, and everyone seems to have a different best pick. What I’m looking for is something gentle, effective, and safe especially for someone with sensitive teeth. Ideally, it should be easy to use, not super harsh, and actually show real results without causing pain or that weird zapping feeling. For context, I’ve tried a couple of cheaper products before. They worked a little, but the results didn’t last and my teeth felt extra sensitive afterward. Rechargeable Teeth Whitening LED Unit Recommendation? Do LED Units Actually work and are they Enamel Safe?
I see some older posts about this, but none that get to my specific question on this. I know that its debatable whether LED teeth whitening units help accelerate gel or strip based whitening kits so they are faster and more effective....and even if it does, maybe it only helps a small amount. That said, I assume there is no downside to using one since its just light (no additional risk to enamel or other side effects), and I see brands like auraglow sells a long-term use unit for just $20 So are there any risks to using these systems? Is it the case that more expensive models (e.g., $100 V4 Real White Teeth Whitening System) works better (seems to have more LEDs, and both red and blue LEDs)? I ask since some dentists offices have much bigger LED teeth whitening thingies that roll around on wheels (e.g., https://usdentaldepot.com/led-unit-ksd-tw-b-stand-shark-116032?gad\_source=1&gad\_campaignid=20453663898&gbraid=0AAAAACvSNwZfiSG1ABPRGRztDN6FfCEEt&gclid=Cj0KCQjw2IDFBhDCARIsABDKOJ7GOxuqkdUrG6Fzf3Nnk2ijAYWlOwD1AtwPDOy6e3MVm5dajnFsyRIaArpeEALw\_wcB).....but why pay for in-office treatment if I can just buy rechargeable LED unit myself? I've seen some articles online explaining how these LED systems work, but some say its BS, others say its legit. I know some companies sell something similiar for other parts of the body (e.g., LED face mask for acne), so I'm not sure if this is just bogus thing, or actually works. submitted by /u/Typical-Vehicle6505 to r/beauty [link] [comments]

Best Teeth Whitening Kit?
Hi everybody, a lot of you sent me messages about my teeth whitening comment the other day so I figured i'd make a post about it. For a bit of context, i've been a dental hygienist for almost 6 years and I am constantly asked about teeth whitening kits. Let me just be totally honest, almost everything you will find online is complete junk and will actually harm your teeth in the long run. If you want to actually whiten your teeth, there are only a few brands that I trust and we recommend to the patients at our dentist office. Everything else is unfortunately a waste of money. Best Teeth Whitening Kits 1. Laughland - Best Overall Kit (Created by dentists and what I personally use on my own teeth) 2. Purely White Deluxe - Best Whitening Powder (a must-have for daily maintenance) 3. AuraGlow - Best Amazon option Brand Features Price LaughLand Created by dentists, easy to apply and doesn't hurt at all. Includes UV light and shade measuring device. $59 Purely White Daily maintenance powder to keep your teeth healthy and shining white $29 AuraGlow All in one kit, decent effectiveness, available on amazon $48 1. Laughland - Best Overall Kit This is, by far, the best at-home whitening kit available. It was created by actual dentists, so the formula is very effective and it is safe for your enamel. It uses a potent peroxide concentration that requires less treatments than other similar kits, and it doesn't hurt at all to use (for those with sensitive teeth). And It uses the highest quality raw ingredients of any other kit I have tried. All you do is apply the gel to your teeth for 5-10 minutes a night, turn on the light (which conveniently plugs into your phone), and in less than a week your teeth should get at least 6 or 7 shades whiter. This is what I personally use on my own teeth once every 6 months or so to freshen my teeth up. It's also what most other dentists I know use, and what we recommend to patients who want an at-home kit. One thing to be aware of, this has become a commonly counterfeited product on amazon. So if you see it there, it's most likely not genuine. If you are going to get yourself a kit, only buy from their official store. It's safer and also cheaper that way. 2. Purely White Deluxe Powder - Must Have Maintenance Powder I'll bet most of you have never tried a teeth whitening powder that contains PAP+ (an ingredient that naturally brightens and whitens your teeth). They have become more common lately and Purely white is the best one available. Simply use it like toothpaste once every few days and it will keep your teeth as white as possible. If you are going to get a kit like Laughland, you really should get yourself some powder too to help maintain your new and improved teeth! This is also only available on their online store. 3. Auraglow Whitening Kit - Best Amazon Option If you only want to get something off amazon, then this is about as good as you can get. It's a bit overpriced for what it is (the formula is just ok IMO), but it's solid. It includes the light and the gel, so it's convenient. Just know that it will take longer to get results. I hope this helps everybody who has been asking about this lately.. If you have any other questions, just let me know! 😊🦷 submitted by /u/Personal-Weekend3173 to u/Personal-Weekend3173 [link] [comments]

Auraglow Professional LED Teeth Whitening System - a coffee addict's solution to professional-grade whitening at home
After trying literally every teeth whitening solution out there (seriously - from drugstore whitening strips to expensive UV systems), I've finally found what I consider the holy grail of at-home dental whitening technology. My aggressive coffee habit (3-4 cups daily minimum, plus the occasional red wine, don't judge) was starting to show, and professional dental whitening treatments were quoted at $600+ at my local dentist's office - hard pass. I've been using the Auraglow Professional LED Whitening Kit with 35% carbamide peroxide gel for about 2 months now, and here's my detailed experience: What's actually working for me: The dental-grade LED acceleration light plugs directly into your phone or any USB device instead of needing separate batteries or charging. My husband, who's equally obsessed with teeth whitening, pointed out this is infinitely more convenient than our old battery-operated system that would die mid-treatment The professional-strength whitening gel doesn't cause tooth sensitivity like other systems did (and I have naturally sensitive teeth). You get enough gel syringes for 12 complete whitening treatments Visible whitening results appeared faster than expected - noticed a significant difference after just 3 thirty-minute sessions The mouth tray design actually stays in place, unlike those generic one-size-fits-all trays from other kits The technical details that matter: The 35% carbamide peroxide concentration is the same professional strength that dental offices use. Each whitening session is 30 minutes, and the gel adhesion technology keeps it in place better than strips or other delivery systems. The LED light acceleration technology serves a genuine purpose - it catalyzes the whitening process for faster results, similar to in-office laser whitening treatments. Real talk about the investment - it's mid-range for professional LED whitening systems (around $30), which is significantly less than I've spent on professional dental whitening or even premium whitening strips over time. For the professional-grade technology and materials you get, it's exceptionally reasonable. The not-so-perfect parts (keeping it real): The professional LED mouthpiece takes some getting used to. Took me a few treatments to figure out the optimal position for maximum comfort You need to remain relatively still during the whitening treatment. I usually just binge-watch something or catch up on emails Have to maintain consistent whitening treatments to preserve results (but that's true for any teeth whitening method) The whitening gel syringes require careful application to avoid waste Additional benefits I've noticed: Works on both natural teeth and dental work (though results vary) The LED light coverage is more comprehensive than other systems I've tried Zero enamel damage even with regular use Storage case keeps everything organized and clean between treatments Customer support actually responds quickly (had a question about gel application) Bottom line: After extensive experience with 5+ different home whitening systems and professional treatments, the Auraglow Professional LED Whitening Kit is genuinely the most effective balance of professional-grade results, comfort, and value I've found in the at-home teeth whitening category. While it's obviously not exactly identical to a $600 dental office treatment, it's surprisingly close for something you can do in your own bathroom while watching Netflix. submitted by /u/OkEstablishment942 to r/MyConsumerReviews [link] [comments]

Are Auraglow teeth whitening kits illegal in Australia?
I've been looking at teeth whitening kits and the Auraglow kit contains 35%-45% Carbamide Peroxide. This is some information from the Dental Board of Australia FAQ - 'Schedule 10 of the Poisons Standard lists substances of such danger to health as to warrant prohibition of sale, supply and use. The standard specifically states that teeth whitening products containing more than 18 per cent carbamide peroxide or more than six per cent hydrogen peroxide may only be sold, supplied and used by registered dental practitioner as part of their dental practice.' I also found an old article Clinical evaluation of 16% and 35% carbamide peroxide as in-office vital tooth whitening agents stating that 'Carbamide peroxide in 16% and 35% concentration are effective and safe for bleaching discoloured vital teeth, however, 35% concentration gave significantly more lightening effect without additional side effects compared to 16% concentration.' I'm really unsure what to think of this teeth whitening kit now.. Whether it's illegal or not is it still worth the risk trying it? submitted by /u/fleshprinceofbellend to r/AustralianMakeup [link] [comments]

Teeth Whitening Kit
Alright it's a bit of a long story but I've found myself in possession of a teeth whitening kit. It was given to me, I didn't buy it, and I don't want to use it so I thought I might as well sell it. It's completely unused. It hasn't even left its box yet. If you want to know exactly what it is, then you can Google 'AuraGlow Teeth Whitening Kit, LED Light, 35% Carbamide Peroxide, (2) 5ml Gel Syringes, Tray and Case' It's listed at $60 but I'm willing to sell it for much less. Who knows? Maybe one of you guys can buy it and resell it as well? Again, I'm willing to negotiate for price and I'm also flexible for payment options, delivery options, etc PM if interested submitted by /u/calebmateo99 to r/yardsale [link] [comments]
