I randomly picked up a pack of alcohol markers from MUJI (out of all places, lol) on a whim and so that day I brought out some old coloring books I had from ages ago. They were fun enough but sooo many details and sooo many decisions on colors meant I just didn't have the energy. I only really get time to color in the evening after 1YO is in bed so by then my brain is pretty fried. So I found this book and it has clicked.
