@Madsbc, yes! The stickers were a hit. As well as all the other little fidget toys and the drawing pad I got. She did so good. Let’s hope I can say the same for when we fly back home.

Not sure if it’s a secret or not, but in the mobile app, you can get back the “fidget spinner” 3D model by double tapping on the image of your car. Double tap again to have it go back to normal.

Generally I've seen fidgets as a waste of filament. I tend to print mostly utilitarian stuff for myself. Half of it is so niche and specific to my needs that I never post online. When I do print more artistic models they tend to be more complex kit type of builds. For whatever reason I had an idea to make a pop-it bubble wrap like fidget. I will say that the constraints of making something small and satisfying that wont break easily do present a fun challenge. It started with the ratchet gun and a couple of cheap Amazon sliders. Just testing the waters but I knew pretty quickly that my hands needed something in them. Then I got into some Lautie pieces and that changed everything!. The sound, the feel, the machining, it was on another level and set me on a course toward some questionable financial decisions lol Then came the MagLab drops. Took me three tries to find the one (zirc golfball ❤️), but by then it was kind of too late—I was in. (I’ve got. ModusWorks ordered but it’s 30 weeks out. Yeah, thirty. Somewhere along the way, I picked up the Flux Feel (the copper tube with the floating magnet), a set of magnetic treaded rollers, and the brass threaded pen from Metmo. More recently, I YOLOd the Lautie Mega Carnival, which is easily the most over-the-top thing I’ve picked up. Stupidly pricey, but honestly… no regrets. I also ended up turning a couple Lautie Gas pendants into begleri, and that’s turned into its own thing—yeah, I suck at it, but it’s fun. The Gravity Clicker just came in today, which is what inspired me to show you all this stuff. Still figuring it out—it’s weird. But I think I like it? Also not pictured: the Polar Ring by RatchetProject, which is great for fidgeting anywhere without drawing attention, and a couple Nee Doh blobs (the Ice Cube and Iceberg) that are perfect for quietly squishing during Zoom calls. Hey y’all — I’ve come to terms that I can’t sit still to save my life. If I’m not fiddling with a pen, my hoodie strings, or the hem of my shirt, I basically float off into space. So I’m thinking it’s time to start using a real fidget or sensory tool — on purpose. But instead of sifting through a million Amazon reviews, I’d rather hear from fellow ADHDers who’ve actually used this stuff in real life. Here’s what I’m wondering: • What’s your go-to fidget or sensory tool that actually helps you stay focused or calm? • Any favorites that are subtle enough to use at work or school without drawing attention? • Have you tried anything that just… didn’t work at all? Also curious about the more stimmy/sensory side — squishies, textures, stretchy things, etc. I’ve heard mixed things about stuff like pop tubes or stretchy strings — fun or just loud and annoying? My husband thought my stitch counter was a fidget toy. When I found it like this I was like "honey did you touch this?" I need it cause I have a horrible memory and trouble counting stitches. He goes "Yeah why?" "Because it's a stitch counter so I remember how many stitches I have" he smiles innocently "I'm sorry it had a clicky button that made the numbers go up" I just started laughing in disbelief. So I've started carrying my knife, and I quickly realized that I am a huge fidgeter with the things in my pocket. I find flipping it open and closed really satisfying. However, I work in a corporate office, and as much as I'm sure their nice people, I'm trying to avoid an invitation from HR.
