Flavor Reviews - Long Read
These are every flavor I have. I used 8 oz of water and 4 oz of milk for each of these test tastes. My body has made multiple detoxes from doing this all in one sitting. For a palate cleanser, I'd drink a few ounces of water in between flavors. Kaho Guilt-Tea Pleasure (Caffeine): In Water: 6.8/10 In Milk: 6/10 Notes: black tea with a slightly fruity aftertaste. Not overly sweet. Leaves a slight bitter taste. Review: taste good, but I have a sensitivity to caramel coloring. Wish I could drink it more often but get stomach aches. Cold One's Pina Colada (Caffeine): In Water: 9/10 In Milk: 7/10 Notes: Traditional Pina Colada taste. Heavy emphasis on the pineapple. Would be great on shaved ice or with alcohol. Review: This is definitely an A tier flavor for me. The taste is definitely close to a 1:1 Pina colada you'd make or order. Very refreshing. Only issue, no caffeine free version and it is/was limited edition. In Milk, it seems to be watered down and not as prominent. Might work better as a milkshake or smoothie. Guacamole Gamer Fart 9000 (GGF900 - Caffeine) In Water: 8/10 In Milk: 1.8/10 Notes: Tastes like a non-carbonated version of Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Depending on how much you dilute the powder, it'll taste more like lime. Strawberry isn't very noticeable. Better drank when cooled or iced. Review: this is a very safe flavor. You can't go wrong with it unless you dislike Baja blast. I've had better flavors, but this is a good starter flavor. In Milk, it's not even noticable. It made the milk sweeter with maybe a slightly sour after taste. Steven He's Emotional Damage (Caffeine): In Water: 7/10 In Milk: 5/10 Notes: Strawberry mainly, with a very subtle peach aftertaste. Review: Similar to GGF9K, this is a safe flavor. The strawberry isn't overpowering or has an artificial taste like gum or syrup. Not overly sweet, very happy medium between sweet and tart. This might not be a daily go to for a lot of people as there isn't a lot of variety to it. Fortunately, Emotional Damage can be versatile when mixing flavors (future post maybe?). In Milk, tastes like strawberry milk. Recommend making milkshakes with this with real strawberries. Steven He's Ginormo Armor-Ade (Caffeine): In Water: 9.5/10 In Milk: 1/10 Notes: blue raspberry lemonade. Not too sour or sweet. Right balance. Review: this has to be one of my favorite flavors. I tend to love sweeter things, but the sourness and combination of flavors has made me come back to this repeatedly. I had to deduct points because this is no longer being sold and it's caffeinated, so I'm very limited on how much I can drink. In Milk, this is a miss. It tastes like a blue raspberry milkshake that expired. Can feel the tummy aches coming. Grenader Grape (Caffeine): In Water: 3/10 In Milk: 1.5/10 Notes: Grape. Not much to say about it. Taste like sour grape Kool aid but not as smooth. It has a bit of chalkiness to it that can turn people away. I've tried adding more water/less powder and that doesn't address the issue. Review: Overall, an eh flavor, but the chalkiness is hard to get over. Halfway through drinking it you start wishing the suffering would end and you went with a different powder. I really like grape flavored drinks, but I wish they'd reformulate it so the chalky taste wouldn't be there and make a caffeine free version. I'd buy so many tubs if they remade it. In Milk, I don't recommend. Very cursed taste. Waifu Candy (Caffeine) In Water: 4/10 In Milk: 5/10 Notes: Cotton Candy Ice Cream and Lucky Charm Marshmallow. It's very very sweet. Like teeth hurt sweet. Sugar water sweet. Review: In water, it tastes exactly like cotton candy ice cream. It is very sweet. I think this would be a good mixer for the more sour flavors like Lemonade or Blue. I recommend not using full scoops when mixing as it can overpower the other flavors you're mixing it with. In Milk, if you want a bowl of lucky charms, but don't want to eat cardboard, this is a good compromise. Would be good as an ice cream or an iced treat. It also makes a very pretty magenta/pinky color. Blue (Caffeine): In Water: 5/10 In Milk: 0/10 Notes: Blue Raspberry. Nothing special, taste like a blue raspberry slush or icee. Review: This one is good for a hot summer day or in a snow cone. Very plain blue raspberry flavor. Not very versatile or drinkable in winter months. In Milk, don't even try it. It is disgusting. Strawberry Daiquiri (Caffeine): In Water: 9.5/10 In Milk: 8.7/10 Notes: a semi-sweet, somewhat bitter strawberry daiquiri. Tastes like real strawberries, maybe bordering on strawberry shortcake. Review: this flavor has no right being nearly identical to a margarita mix that you buy at the store. This doesn't have a fake strawberry taste at all. It tastes just like a freshly picked strawberry that's on the cusp of being ripe. It's not super sweet or sour or tart. It's up to Armor-Ade flavor tier, it might even surpass it. S-tier. In Milk, very similar to strawberry shortcake but slightly off. Sweet Six Pack (Caff Free): In Water: 6.5/10 In Milk: 5/10 Notes: very cherry with a hint of tart. Tastes like one of the cherry lollipops you get at the doctor's when you were younger. They're wrapped in the clear plastic. Review: I do like this flavor a lot, but I can maybe drink it once or twice before I get tired of it. It has a waxy/artificial cherry taste, but it's not super overbearing to where you can't ignore it. I don't taste any pineapple other than the tartness. In Milk, it tastes very similar to a cherry yogurt. I think if you made this a milkshake with real cherries and maybe peaches it would be really good. Watermelon Ice (Caff Free): In Water: 2/10 In Milk: -50/10 Notes: watermelon jolly rancher. Review: I went into this not knowing what to expect. In Water, perfectly acceptable flavor. Not overpowering but a very 'have to be in the mood' for it flavor. Not something I'd reach for every day. This would be bottom of the barrel flavor for me. In Milk, I couldn't even swallow it. It tastes rancid and made me sick. Do Not Consume! Dragonfruit Punch: In Water: 6/10 In Milk: 1/10 Notes: sour cherry koolaid Review: Very solid flavor. Would be a good introduction to gamersupps if friends/family are worried about the names or art work. Not sure what combinations can be made, but might experiment. Did not like this in milk. TheGroupChat's Podcast - Lean (Caff Free): In Water: 9/10 In Milk: 2/10 Notes: Peach tea + lemonade. Magenta color, not overly sweet or sour. Also referred to as Arnold Palmer, Half n Half, or Sun Joy. AP, HnH, and SJ are usually only mixed with (un)sweet tea/lemonade, not peach. Review: S tier flavor. Great starter, excellent artwork, and very pretty color. Best enjoyed cooled or iced. Don't think it would do well as a mixer, shaved ice, or ice cream. In Milk, the only redeeming quality is the peach taste. It has a barely consummable milk taste but with peaches. Maybe I really like peaches and will give this abomination combination a pass, but not recommended. Sodapressed Despear (Caff Free): In Water: 5.5/10 In Milk: 4.7/10 Notes: borders between a fake pear taste and sour apple candy. Visually, it looks like it would be sour, but it's more on the sweet end of things. Not terrible, pretty unique. Review: overall, nice flavor and color. Don't think this would be a good starter flavor or introduction into gamersupps unless you really like sour apple jolly ranchers or apple flavored candies. In Milk, I wanted to hate it, but the milk really neutralized the candy taste and presented a more real tasting pear flavor. I have no idea how or why that happened, but it's interesting and kinda good. Florkofcows - Anime Girl Thighs (Caff Free): In Water: 7/10 In Milk: 9.7/10 Notes: Orange dreamsicle. Perfect amount of sweetness, nice creamy orange flavor. Review: This is a walk down memory lane to your childhood. Riding bikes down the street and stopping the ice cream man to obtain one of these orange rectangles. A very nice and memorable taste that can be enjoyed on a summer day or when you want nostalgia to punch you in the Adam's apple. Cons - can stain cups and weak in water. In Milk, tastes exactly like a melted dreamsicle, very tasty. In my top 5 favorite flavors in milk Arctic Cooler (Caff Free): In Water: 6.6/10 In Milk: 1/10 Notes: lemon-limey with a hint of citrus. Review: I really liked this flavor when I first got it. I thought it was a good sour flavor in the sea of sweet ones. This still holds true, but it definitely gets forgot about a lot, especially compared to Blohole Blast or Pyro Power. It's a good flavor but not one that jumps out at you when there's other choices. I'll be sad if this one gets retired but I can understand why it would. In Milk, not very drinkable. Paymoneywubby's Brand Risk/Youth Risky (Caff Free): In Water: 7.3/10 In Milk: 8/10 Notes: very peachy with mango blended in. On the sweeter side. Review: Peaches, peaches, peaches. It's good, but can be overly sweet if too much powder is added. If you like fruit, you'll like this one. In Milk, would make a great smoothie with real fruit added. Points deducted for staining everyone's cups with no disclaimer or directions on how to get rid of them. This is a flavor where the community bands together to help each other get rid of stains and promote awareness while (afaik) the creator and company won't address the ongoing issue. Sinder's Pyro Power: In Water: 10/10 In Milk: 5/10 Notes: pomegranate green tea. Similar to Pom Wonderful Promegranate Green. Review: this is probably my favorite flavor to date. It has a very nice tea taste with a pomegranate note that hits at every sip. I can drink this and not feel tired or bored of it. In Milk, it tastes fairly decent. Milk brings out more of the pomegranate flavor while also making the milk taste like tea with creamer added. Definitely recommend and can't wait til it restocks. Lemonade: In Water: 7.4/10 In Milk: 4.3/10 Notes: diet lemonade packets. Very lemony. Good mixer Review: tastes exactly like sugar free lemonade crystal light packets. It's more sour than anything but has a good lemon taste. Would work well in with the sweeter flavors. I rate this one higher than others is because while being simple, it has more versatility. In Milk, this can be hit or miss. Add too much and you get rotten milk, add to little and you get somewhat sour milk, if you add the right amount of powder to milk ratio (follow the 8oz 1 scoop rule), then you can make some very good lemon sorbet or lemoncello out of it. Shylily's Blohole Blast (Caff Free): In Water: 10/10 In Milk: 7.2/10 Notes: Coconut and lime. I don't taste any mango or passion fruit. Review: second favorite flavor. Very refreshing and don't really get tired or bored of it. Tastes like Sonic's ocean water without the sprite. Recommended as a good starter flavor for those who like coconut and don't mind the artwork. This is different from Pina colada as it has more of a fruit blend to it and taste. It's not super sweet and has the perfect balance. In Milk, it tastes like coconut water, bordering on coconut ice cream. Not sure how good of a mixer this is but standalone, it's perfect. MeatCanyon/Papa Meat's Raw Meat (Caff Free): In Water: 7.3/10 In Milk: 2/10 Notes: Watermelon candy. Review: this flavor is supposed to be watermelon cantaloupe. I don't taste cantaloupe at all. It's a very refreshing flavor, but can be overwhelming for some, especially newcomers. Overall I think it's good and would rate it higher, but since there's an acquired taste and not beginner friendly, the score gets knocked down a bit. In Milk, this isn't that good. Surely it's drinkable to a degree, but not one you want to make again. The Goons' Grandpa's Ashes: In Water: 6.7/10 In Milk: 10/10 Notes: very prominent raspberry flavor with some creamy notes. As black as my soul. Review: I wanted to like this in water. I felt the flavor to be weak and not very forward, I had to add extra to get it to where I wanted it to be. In Milk though, this is THE BEST! The milk gets emphasized by raspberry and amplifies the creaminess already in the mix. I could drink this every time I'm in the mood for something sweet. Definitely recommend. Strawberry and Cream In Water: 5/10 In Milk: 9.5/10 Notes: strawberries and cream. Nothing more. Nothing less. Reviews: Firstly, fuck AI. This flavor has been controversial because of the artist and art on the label. I've seen people have different opinions on the flavor. In Water, this flavor is weak unless you add a scoop and some extra in 8oz. The profile overall is nice and true to a real strawberry shortcake taste. I wouldn't say there's an artificial taste, unlike the artwork, but it's definitely more realistic. In Milk, exactly like strawberry shortcake more than strawberry daiquiri. If you like Grandpa's Ashes, this is an equivalent to it but with strawberries. Hopefully they rebrand this flavor and bring it back, because it's worth having in their lineup. Mango Meta (Caff Free): In Water: 7.4/10 In Milk: 8.2 Notes: realistic mango taste. Review: while this flavor is just mango, it has no artificial mango taste like you'd find in mango lemonade or tea. This taste exactly like you ate the fruit. This might be good with some mixes, but since it is a standalone flavor, it can be underwhelming when there's a massive lineup of mixed flavors. In Milk, this would be great in a milkshake or ice cream or shaved ice. Lychee (Caff Free): In Water: 3.8/10 In Milk: 3.7/10 Notes: lychee I guess? To me it's like what cactus would taste like if you bite the outside. Reviews: this is a very underwhelming flavor. It is very sweet and kinda has a prickly pear kind of taste. This could be better if the sweetness was toned down. It does make a pretty light pink color. In Milk, it's nothing special. Wouldn't mix it again though. Jschlatt's Titty Milk (Caff Free): In Water: 8.2/10 In Milk: 9.7/10 Notes: blueberry cheesecake Review: in water, titty Milk tastes like blueberry milk that got watered down. Tears of an infant while he's sucking on his mother's teet kinda taste. I like it, it's a good starter flavor for those who have a sweet tooth and like cheesecake. I think this has more opportunities to be a mixer compared to GGF9K or emotional damage. It's why it gets a higher rating. In Milk, oof great desert drink, great base for milkshakes and smoothies, add in some fruit and it can be a game changer. Pineapple Cocktail In Water: 7.4/10 In Milk: 5.9 Notes: Pine. Apple. Pineapple. Review: tastes like real pineapple. Very enjoyable flavor. Really good mixing flavor. This would be really good on shaved ice or mixed into other flavors. Unfortunately, like mango Meta, this is a standalone flavor and gets overshadowed by the others in the lineup. It's definitely good if you want pineapple or mango only. In Milk, this would be great as an ice cream or made into a sundae or something along those lines. submitted by /u/moonlit_disgrace to r/gamersupps [link] [comments]
