I'm going to assume il need to pair these bits with a SDS drill to get through brick? I'm not having any luck with my Bosch Combi drill in hammer mode.

Looks like the new bracket has been updated from what you've got so there aren't any bolt holes, but you'd just have to hammer it flat and then drill a hole in your bracket for the bolt.

I'm missing some before pics, but these are in order of when they were completed. Biggest challenge was hiding the electrical panel in my bedroom. I threw my back out part way through doing it, so there were delays in completing. Living alone means having to learn how to hold things up while screwing stuff into place and keeping everything level. I'm not a very strong woman, so I learned the benefits of a good quality set of clamps. Over the summer, I purchased: A circular saw A mitre saw A jigsaw A small sander A circular sander A new power drill New drill bits So, so, so many nails and screws and urethane and wood stain. I want a table saw and a band saw, but I don't have the space for them. I also wanted a router saw and rotary tool, but those will have to wait till next summer. I want to upgrade from a dcd777 and could benefit from having the hammer option. I'm looking at the dcd806 which is currently $147 on Amazon. Would this be a good daily use option or would you suggest something different? Just want to be able to do lighter masonry drilling for anchors or in stucco when needed and have a solid more powerful main use drill. Not sure where to go with this one to report it. I ordered a D25481 Hammer Drill from Home Depot via their website shipped to my house. It showed up next day in a Home Depot box in a factory dewalt box stuff taped up. The case was zip tied as they usually are, but when I opened it up I found the hammer drill bagged as they usually are an what looks like a prison shank made out of a hacksaw blade stashed in the top on it. For context, I am an electrician, my buddies a carpenter. We were having a conversation the other day about work and i was asking him why he carries around an SDS drill when hammer drills exist and he was explaining to me that while SDS drills are a lot faster, using the hammer drill function on a hammer drill is also bad for the drill even though it is designed to do it. He said it will still shorten the life span of the drill more so than drilling concrete with an SDS drill would. I am concerned about this cause soon on the site I am at I will have to walk around and strap the services (drill holes in the concrete near the meter base and support the pipe) on every single house (over 100) one by one which means with my hammer drill, drilling over 400 holes in concrete at least and this is probably a severe underestimate. Normally when I need to drill concrete for screws I use my hammer drill which I don’t love but I don’t have much of a say as a first year apprentice but I am looking for insight on wether I should make a fuss about using my own hammer drill in this new task or not.
