I love korean skincare
Ever since i been introduced to korean skincare, i never went back. Round labs is my favorite brand. I have sensitive skin and their products are gentler. The only us brand i like is Good Molecules and tret. I am still newish to skincare so i have a simple routine. It works. I order mainly from Olive Young so i can get the korean formula of the sunscreen. I do yesstyle sometimes as well. I just have up money for a haul every few months or so. First pic was in sep and last pic was in Jan. I did get a little lazy with my routine the last two month but i plan to be more consistent and work on the PIH, clearing my skin more and possibly adding new products so im open to suggestions. Edit: forgot to add i do have spontaneous keloids. I get kenalog for those. What no one tells you before starting Korean skincare as a beginner
I started Korean skincare at 33, I know that's late, but honestly I had no skin issues before. Anyways, I started experiencing extremely dry skin, especially after cleansing, and random breakouts here and there, so I decided to get into my skincare bag. And of course it had to be Korean, because people really do swear by Korean skincare. You know those talks about 7 steps, 10 steps, glass skin? Yes, that’s what sold me,lol. Plus it sounded simple enough, at least for me.. But nobody tells you how slow it feels at first. I expected instant results in a week. Instead, my skin started getting these tiny bumps. I almost quit. Another thing is texture overload. Everything is watery. Toner, essence, ampoule all feel similar when you’re new. Also layering takes practice. Too much and you feel sticky. Too little and nothing changes. I bought a starter set from a local brand here, after seeing great reviews online, on Amazon, and even alibaba, although, I didn't buy muy skincare online. After about a month my skin calmed down. Not glass skin, exactly, but the tiny bumps weren’t there, and I don’t experience that dry feeling like before… Also, it’s been about 4 months, and I haven’t had a breakout. With Korean products, you need to be patient enough to see the results. Also, know your skin first before rushing into products. Different skin types react differently… For those who are on Korean Skincare, what confused you most in the beginning? submitted by /u/Many-Purpose8865 to r/30PlusKoreanSkincare [link] [comments]

People in the us… how are you getting Korean skincare with this tariff situation ?
Hello, I’ve made a post on this sub Reddit before about the order I placed from yes style on September 15 and it has been stuck in Louisville Kentucky for almost a month. The package gets scanned every day, and often times says it’s going to be delivered to my house and then never shows up. Has anyone found an alternative to ordering Korean skin care products directly from the United States? Do any of the big retailers online have united states warehouse that you can directly choose to be shipped from? I I kind of accept that my package is likely not going to come, but I still really really want my skin 1004 products!!! korean skincare changed skin practically over night
i took Accutane as a teen, and although it healed my acne, my skin has been perpetually dry and dull ever since (over a decade) and i am getting fine lines faster than other people my age. i have tried every brand it feels like, and some things have worked great, while others have made my skin so much worse. about 8 months ago i got the Peach & Lily ultra plush rich cream and loved it! i felt like my skin transformed after just a few days, so i decided to lean completely into the Korean skincare and slowly replaced my routine to only k-beauty. my skin has never looked better! i am glowy all day, even at the end of a long day with no skincare refresh. fine lines are decreasing, i never have that tight feeling, i even get asked what foundation I'm wearing when i am not wearing an ounce of makeup and people don't believe me! best part, i have only been using these products for 2 months and already have these dramatic results. i highly recommend doing Korean skincare brands that are also clean like Peach & Lily. for more affordable, Good Molecules and Knours have been just as good for toners and cleansers. but for moisturizers and serums, nothing is better than P&L IMO. honorable mention, those viral collagen masks, they are 100% worth the hype submitted by /u/lesbianagrande777 to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]
