(New bottle LEFT bought March, Old bottle RIGHT - purchased last December - both from Target) This has been my go to cleanser for probably 10 years on and off but my most recent bottle seems off to me. It has a slight fruity scent to it and it seems to have caused a bit of a reaction near my eyes after using few times - small, itchy bumps. This is the only new product. I’m wondering if I just got a weird batch or a tampered/returned product or something like that. The smell kind of reminds me of Suave Strawberry Shampoo/Conditioner or something which makes me wonder if I got a product that was refilled with something else & put back on the shelves. The packaging is different so I’m not hopeful… ALSO - new cleanser recommendations? I have no idea what to do here. Gentle cleansers only please… not a fan of cetaphil daily cleanser- felt like it left a film on my skin. Not here to hate I actually love La Roche Posay. But after using it for about 3 years, here are a few things I wish I knew earlier 👇 • The products work, but only if you match them to your skin type. • Cicaplast = amazing for repairing skin barrier and sensitivity. • Effaclar = great for acne-prone skin, but can be drying if you go overboard. • Anthelios = super gentle and underrated for everyday use as a sunscreen Also, please double-check where you’re buying from. My friend and I came across LRP products on Apollo Pharmacy and Myntra so we DM’d them with links asking to authenticate. They said that the Apollo products are indeed theirs but DIDN’T authenticate the products on Myntra. So most likely the Myntra LRP products are fake.
