RE:Water flask recommendations
Owala. I'd recommend the Freesip Sway 30oz. Lockable lid and big handle so ideal for carrying around with you all day.

60oz Freesip Sway??? Or SCAM?
A local group that sells discount items from amazon crates is raffling off a 60oz Freesip Sway in the new golf pattern. Claiming a $250 value. They have the 30oz in our local store for $30 - just bought one the day before I saw this. I commented and confirmed that it was 60oz because shown in the image is the 30oz. I can't find ANYWHERE online anything about a 60oz version of this. She is claiming it was a limited run and they only made a few. Does anyone know if there is truth to this? I can't find any indication of a 60oz and she's taking people's money for this without even producing proof she has it. submitted by /u/Gold-Performance-325 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Opinions on FreeSip vs Sway vs Tumbler? x
Hiya! I've been looking for a good, decent volume steel water bottle for months especially as I'm a Vet student and need something good for being dragged about in my bag, and after being stuck between Chilly's, Stanley and Owala, I'm definitely favouring Owala? I'm obsessed with 'out of the blue' range, but before purchasing any I'd love to gather some opinions about the differences? I'd really appreciate anyone who can offer any insight and honest opinions about pros & cons in comparison between the three since I'll be ordering from the UK, I want to be certain haha x submitted by /u/_xJessax_ to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Our First Owalas - $8.49 Sway, $15 40oz Tumbler, $17.50 FreeSip
I found the gold one at Target for $8.49 and couldn't resist. My teenage son ended up claiming it, so I bought the 40oz Rosy Dreams from Sierra for $15. The next day a redditor posted the clearance at Whole Foods, and I managed to grab the last FreeSip in Rosy Dreams half off there. The FreeSip cups have been great while we’ve been sick in bed with the flu. It’s nice to have a big cold drink that stays cold and I don’t have to worry about spills! submitted by /u/Either-Tie-6603 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Freesip Sways can’t preserve ice for long
Hey everyone, just got my Owala Freesip Sway 30oz and I love how it looks. Unfortunately, I realised the ice melts very quickly. For context, I fill it with ice and room temperature water (7:3 ratio), didn’t fill it to the brim, just about 70% filled and the ice completely melts within 2 hours. It’s humid where I am but this was during night time and I was mostly indoors. The bottle was bought from original sources. Anyone else facing the same issue? submitted by /u/kittyinthewell to r/Owala [link] [comments]

FreeSip vs. FreeSip Sway
Asking the question that likely gets asked a lot. I’m thinking of finally investing in an Owala, and this will be my first proper water bottle investment, so I really want to make the right decision! Based on reviews on Reddit and TikTok, I’ve gotten super mixed feedback. I personally like the look of the 32 oz FreeSip a lot more than the 24 oz or the Sway. Most people seem to prefer the Sway in terms of practicality - better handle to carry and the lock seems sturdier? But I’ve also been seeing reviews of the part above the drinking part starting to smell?? Would love any input. For context, I work from home, don’t drive on the regular but fitting into a cup holder would be nice for when I’m in a car, and I would like to be able to carry it when out on a walk or hike! submitted by /u/Aswasa123 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

New to Owala--question about "gripability" of Sway 30 oz.
I've been using the same water bottle for 10 years (a Klean Kanteen small diameter bottle). It's been great but I'm not crazy about the old "sport cap". I began looking around and watching videos on YouTube and became really interested in the Owala line because of the lid. I liked the handle on the FreeSip Sway, so pulled the trigger on the 30oz. I like the way it looks, and I love the functionality of the lid. However, to me it is a little hard to grip. It feel slick and feels pretty wide near the top where I grip it. This also makes it sort of difficult to grab out of the cup holder in my vehicle. For reference, I'm a 53-year-old male with normal sized hands. Now I'm beginning to wonder if I should've gotten the tumbler instead. I'd never been interested in a tumbler, having always used a bottle, but I am wondering if the handle would make it easier/more comfortable to grip. I'm also wondering if anyone makes a silicone sleeve that would fit around the mid-section of the bottle making it less slick. I found *one* on Amazon but it said it only fir 40 oz. bottles. I bought a "tall" boot but it is still very low on the bottle and not where I grip it. Anyway, any suggestions/thoughts/ideas would be appreciated. Bottom line: I *love* the versatility of the lid, but I'm not really a fan of the bottle shape now that I've had it in my hand. Help! :-) submitted by /u/mrdctaylor to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Sway owners - has anyone been fully converted from the original freesip?
been an owner of a few original owala freesips for a couple of years, i have two 24oz freesips and one of the 40oz (mainly for home) and have been alternating the 24oz ones along with a 32oz hydroflask that I had for longer when i leave the house. for the past ~2 months, i'd found myself defaulting to the hydroflask due to it's handle and size but missed the spout on the owala and caved in to the black cherry sway in 30oz. i've received it, colour is gorg!! as with everyone, i think i have too many bottles, which at this point i may eventually not use as much, and wanted to know if anyone has fully converted to the sway, what have you done with your original freesips? also unsure if I'll miss using the 24oz if i get rid of them and i don't drive so it's mainly the experience of bringing it along while in transit on buses and trains, I'd love to hear from anyone who still has both too! edited: wording. i've also gotten so excited to start using the sway so i can bring more water along, and might just end up keeping 1 of the 24oz and giving the other away submitted by /u/s4phie to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Open Air Freesip Sway way more blue than purple
If anyone is a lavender fan, you’re officially warned that this bottle to me is more blue. The button is the only thing that is purple. I would say my picture is pretty accurate to how the bottle looks irl for anyone wondering. submitted by /u/GoodAd8305 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

I can’t decide if I should keep the regular Freesip or Sway.
Sway pros: Better lock, easier to keep looking clean, color, wider mouth Regular pros: Lid is easier to put on, more comfortable to hold while drinking, shorter. The handle isn’t a huge deal for me since my purse is a water bottle bag. I also don’t really care about cupholder compatibility since the 40 oz BARELY fits in my car cupholder anyway. I love my tumbler, but it’s a bit annoying to get in and out of my water bottle bag. submitted by /u/Conscious-Hawk3679 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Freesip v Sway: Honest Review Please 🙂
Hello. I've had my Freesip for a few years now and it's time for an upgrade. I'm deciding between the Freesip 30oz and the Sway 30oz. I live in a regional town in Australia so whichever I choose needs to be ordered. I haven't seen the Sway in person. Just wondering which one you prefer if you have used both. Thanks so much 😊 submitted by /u/Next-Nectarine242 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Finally picked up a Freesip Sway, and I love it!
The 30 oz size is perfect for me, and the cup holder friendly base made it an easy choice since that was the only thing that kept me from getting an original Freesip bottle. It’s the best of both worlds, imo submitted by /u/sayformelove to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Okay…I might’ve been wrong
I admittedly thought the sway design was terrible looking, but I’d never seen it in person. Today, I was in Target because someone gave me a gift card, and I decided to check out the Owalas. This is a 40 oz. I thought the handle was too clunky before, but it actually feels really nice. I’m thinking about getting it for my job because I do need something a bit bigger than my usual 32 oz. submitted by /u/Embarrassed-Ad-4214 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

I personally think the new FreeSip Sway is so ugly, but I couldn’t resist the ability to put it in my cup holder and I’m really loving it 🥲
I love carrying it by the handle. I love the locking feature (and fidgeting with the lock). I honestly like the color of the bottle, I just think the shape is ugly and I hate the color of the handle. But a 40oz water bottle with the FreeSip spout that fits in my cup holder? I’ll deal with it. submitted by /u/melinda_lane to r/Owala [link] [comments]
