We use the the owala kids tumbler - I like that it’s stainless steel and it’s white spill proof. Only if there’s some in the very top of the straw does any get out. It also is relatively difficult to suck out of so it makes my LO slow down with his drinking

I’ve had my tumbler for about 2 years, I use it over my free sip whenever I don’t need a lid. I feel like it’s always been pretty good at staying ice cold. I use it as my night bottle every night. I fill it about halfway with fridge cold water and then put an ice tray worth of ice in it. I feel like it usually still had ice in it once I woke up, but at the least it was still ice cold or at least fridge cold. Lately I’ve noticed it’s starting to get even room temp before I’m even asleep. Like tonight it was 5 hours and the ice was completely gone and it was between fridge cold and room temp. Is this normal? Has it just run its course and I need a new one? I've been looking for a good, decent volume steel water bottle for months especially as I'm a Vet student and need something good for being dragged about in my bag, and after being stuck between Chilly's, Stanley and Owala, I'm definitely favouring Owala? I found the gold one at Target for $8.49 and couldn't resist. My teenage son ended up claiming it, so I bought the 40oz Rosy Dreams from Sierra for $15. The next day a redditor posted the clearance at Whole Foods, and I managed to grab the last FreeSip in Rosy Dreams half off there. The FreeSip cups have been great while we’ve been sick in bed with the flu. My Stanley finally broke so I'm heading to Owala land! Debating between these to 40oz tumbler options. Might be a weird question, but has anyone used a stainless steel straw in the FreeSip when they're just chilling at home? I like the idea of the FreeSip when I'm out and about but I do drink more water when I have the straw sticking out at my desk or when I'm driving.
