I took Everyday dose for 29 days, and these were the results
Tomorrow will mark my 30th day of taking EDD and drinking mushroom coffee in general. I regularly took breaks of about a month during which I sat down to work at the pc, my heart rate was still around 90-95 bpm alongside with jitters. This really bothered me, and I was looking for a solution. Because I couldn't go more than two months without caffeine. I was also taking L-theanine separately, and it actually helped, but I didn't always have time in the morning to take it half an hour before my coffee, and I often forgot. And overall, it turned my morning coffee ritual int oa bit of a rush, because the anxiety from not taking L-theanine before coffee was already stronger than the anxiety from regular coffee itself. sry for long preamble, mayb there are too much details due to my ADHD I've seen Ryze in a lot of places, how people pick it up at Publix, and I decided to try it too, the mushroom coffee, and then switched to Everyday dose in a week because I saw it already had L-theanine in it. Here's what I've realized so far - I feel a certain sense of awareness, it's hard to explain, but it's as if I find it easier to decide to do something truly worthwhile. - I crave carbs less, I started noticing this when I was tracking my diet by app. - I don't really like that the caffeine kick comes on gradually on mushroom coffee, I used to get a rush from the stimulation happening all at once. - I don't like the mushroom aftertaste, but it seems like in the Protein+ version I don't taste it at all - Some of my friends have started telling me I've become too blunt in my reactions. I can no longer listen to people's constant complaints about everything around them, and I've stopped liking acting that way myself, even though I previously couldn't do without it The first and last effects seem to me to be most similar to the effects of Lion's mane. Has anyone else had similar reactions overall? I'm just afraid of becoming so confident that I end up getting irritable I'm also on meds, but my dosage hasn't changed at all over the past two months, so I don't think it's because of that submitted by /u/MaryACornell to r/MushroomCoffee [link] [comments]

Is there any point in drinking these mushroom coffees?
I've noticed for a while now that a lot of people are buying them in Target instead of regular coffee, Ryze, Everyday dose, etc. But is it really worth it? This question is mainly for those who buy it at Target submitted by /u/SilentlyGrubby to r/Target [link] [comments]

Type 1 diabetic having Ryze mushroom coffee withdrawal.
I started drinking 1 cup a day of Ryze mushroom coffee. 7 months postpartum, I thought why not, lower caffeine. I'm pumping exclusively for my son, so didnt want to drink too much coffee. Have been a type 1 diabetic for 15years. Last Friday I got an a1c done and my endo emailed me the day after saying to stop all supplements as my liver enzymes were elevated and she would do a full liver bloodwork panel in 2 weeks after I've been off everything. I mentioned the mushroom coffee being the only thing I've changed in my routine, and she said to get off of it too. Now I'm in the ER with my blood sugars being high and unresponsive to my fiasp insulin. It's been this way for over 24hours. The cycle of not wanting to eat much, drinking liters of water, elevated ketones, and just overall worry landed me here. Thankfully I had no DKA going on. I'm just hoping my insulin kicks in in the next few days and my metabolism regulated back to normal aka off mushroom coffee. I just fear there is a lack of info regarding this stuff and diabetics. It's toted as lowering blood sugar, but once you stop the coffee...I think it can mess with you big time. Just putting this out there for any other type 1 diabetics. Wondering if anyone has experienced something similar? If you are a type 1 on the mushroom coffee, maybe get some bloodwork done to check your liver. I should have looked into it more before starting it, but warnings are so vague, and I don't want to be the annoying diabetic that is constantly calling their endo to ok every supplement. It was so good I thought I had a real win finding that stuff! Bummer. submitted by /u/AppealSecure9518 to r/diabetes_t1 [link] [comments]

Mushroom coffee. Looking for real life experiences before taking the leap! Hey folks just wanted to see if there is anyone that can share your experience with the latest trend.... 'Mushroom Coffee's.' Asking in that I am 58, bad back so exercise has been sporadic at best. I lost 20 plus pounds 2024-25 with high water consumption, portion control, and walking.... Now the back is not really allowing the extra walking. And yes .. the weight is back. Before looking at weight loss products (prescription) I thought I would try the mushroom coffee. Mushroom coffee that works?
Tried Ryze for a month, basically paid $30 for instant coffee with a story. The mushroom dose is laughably low. Been looking at Four Sigmatic and a couple smaller brands with actual extract ratios. Anyone here actually found a mushroom coffee that tastes good?
I’ve tried a couple like Ryze and a few others, and honestly most of them taste kinda earthy or weird. I’m fine with a bit of mushroom smell since that’s expected, but the taste is what gets me. Some of them taste muddy or just off. I like the idea (focus, no crash, etc.) but I can’t get past the taste. Curious if anyone’s found one that actually tastes like real coffee? submitted by /u/NewjizzPC to r/MushroomCoffee [link] [comments]

Ryze mushroom coffee alternatives?
Spent like $36/month on Ryze for three months before I looked up how much lion's mane was actually in each serving. Laughable. The oat milk latte vibes were nice I guess but that's not why I was buying it. Some site called becomelucid had decent breakdowns on dosages, bit dense for a casual read though. I'm wondering if any mushroom coffee is worth it or just buy extract capsules separately? submitted by /u/CrystalBlossom7655 to r/MushroomCoffee [link] [comments]

If you’ve tried mushroom coffee, specifically MUDWTR or Ryze, what were your impressions?
I’m curious how people here feel about mushroom coffee, especially brands like MUDWTR or Ryze. I’m currently about a week into trying MUDWTR. The main reason I started was that regular coffee recently started making me feel lightheaded and a little sick, which never used to happen before. Taste wise it’s definitely different. The flavor reminds me a little of something spicy and earthy. It’s not exactly coffee, but it’s not bad either. I mix one tablespoon with hot water and use the frother that came with it because a spoon didn’t mix it well at all. Then I add vanilla oat milk and froth it again. That combination tastes really good, imo. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the last sip in the mug can feel a little gritty, though it doesn’t bother me much. Out of curiosity I even looked into how mushroom coffee powders are made and saw ingredient blends discussed on sourcing pages on Alibaba, which made me realize there are tons of variations. So far, I get more energy with it compared to regular coffee. As for Ryze, I’m not sure… So far, I haven't met people who've stuck with it. For people who have tried both MUDWTR and Ryze, did you stick with one long term? submitted by /u/Embarrassed-Career30 to r/WellnessOver30 [link] [comments]

Tried 4 mushroom coffees in last year and I have thoughts
so I've gone through like 4 different mushroom coffees since last winter and most of them were honestly disappointing first two (Ryze and some cheap brand) tasted like dirt and gave me nothing. third one was fine but $60+ a bag and I just couldn't justify it monthly Heard of Lucid maybe 6 months ago.. the taste actually good for me which was the main thing. and I stopped getting that afternoon crash where I'd want to nap at my desk only complaint is the subscription is kind of annoying to manage, had to skip a month and their portal was weird about it. but the actual coffee I'm keeping anyone else cycle through a bunch before finding one that stuck or am I just picky submitted by /u/CheekyChardonnay to r/MushroomCoffee [link] [comments]

Anyone actually feel a difference with mushroom coffee ?
Ok so mushroom coffee keeps popping up in my feed and I’m getting more curious about the benefits. I’m trying to cut back on regular coffee since I crash hard by noon, and this seems like a decent alternative. Some brands claim it helps with focus and energy without the jitters. I’ve seen lion’s mane and cordyceps mentioned a lot but no clue if the amounts actually do anything. Also a little scared it’s gonna taste like dirt water. Ryze Mushroom Coffee Scam
I really wanted to like this mushroom coffee because I’d read so many positive things about it, but unfortunately, when I first ordered this mushroom coffee, I had no idea I was signing up for a monthly subscription. Nothing on the checkout page clearly stated that I’d be charged automatically every month. I only found out when a second box showed up at my door and money had already been taken from my account. As for the benefits, I didn’t notice any increase in energy, focus, or mood after a couple of weeks. In fact, it left me feeling slightly bloated and uncomfortable after drinking . I’m glad others may have had a better experience, but for me, this was a waste of money. I’ll be sticking to my regular coffee from now. The product and the way the subscription is set up both left a bad impression. I won’t be ordering again, and I’d recommend reading all the fine print before trying this brand. submitted by /u/Anxious_Document_270 to r/MushroomCoffee [link] [comments]

I know more about ryze mushroom coffee than true crime
Is there any way for them to put less ads in their episodes? As I get farther and farther through, it feels like there’s more and more per episode. And if I wanna just listen to it in the background while cleaning my house or cooking, it’s annoying to skip through everything or listen to it all. I don’t care about betterhelp or barkbox or ixl. I know there’s most likely nothing they can do about it because it’s probably a large source of money for them but I felt the need to rant a bit… submitted by /u/Lahjainchains to r/CrimeJunkiePodcast [link] [comments]
