Ok so you are talking about bending:  UW to 46. W to 41.  Makes sense. Trajectory will be fine.    My W is 39.5 and all my clubs are 1.5* strong (instead of power spec). Stopping is not an issue. I do play spinny balls though mainly Maxfli Tour X.

Give me a couple weeks and I think that’s a smooth 9W from the tips. As of now I’m probably going with a 5W and hoping I hit it high and spinny. Got a baleno 2016 alpha from spinny for 5L The very second day i notice that the steering is very tight and not returning after taking a U turn .After a lil bit of digging around i understood that its a manufacturing defect from the manufacturers and that the steering column apparently had a recall. So now the thing is that this was not mentioned anywhere in the spinny report. So now when i reported this and asked them to change the part they are saying they can only repair and not replace. Since its still under the 5 days period i can still give it back without any hassle. Also worth mentioning is that at the moment i called the sales man to say that there is a problem with the steering , he himself asked if “the steering is not returning” and “its a problem with all marutis” Which further indicates they knew but didn’t care enough to at-least say it to me Anyways would like you guys output in this whole ordeal. the car i own, the very same model and year of manufacture as well as kms driven were the same as a car listed on spinny, my car had done 80K Kms and the listed car had done 71K kms. the car on the spinny website (same color, model, year of manufacture) was priced at Rs 3,85,000. the valuation on my car which has zero accidents(there are dents), single owner since buying it was done at 1,89,000. this is what their call center people called me and conveyed, then they sent what's app revised price for 1,89,000 as well. then they call me regularly 2 times a day asking if i have a car to sell, this happens even when i block the numbers they call from. all the negiotiations are being done as per a script and there is no fair play on their end. they don't even have a decent pipeline for remarketing. all numbers collected by them are used for remarketing purpose, the laziest form of marketing i've seen, and it almost industry wide practice for desi companies. don't deal with spinny, let this startup head to the graveyard please. submitted by /u/Embarrassed_Look9200 to r/CarsIndia [link] [comments]

About the car - it’s 2020 registered XT Harrier. It’s very well maintained and only driven by me and my dad(occasionally). Total odo ~80k. Tyres replaced at 65k and timing belt during recent service. There are absolutely no issues with car. I want to move to electric but I don’t want to have 2 cars coz it’s only me who uses. I posted it on Olx few days back, but only scammers got into my inbox. After checking the price at acko online. They gave me a range of 7lakhs to 8.7lakhs. Later that day I get a call from them that I can get an exact number and even better offer after inspection. Spinny is their partner so a guy from there will come to my home free of cost and inspect the car, it was pretty straightforward. So I opted for the inspection the next day. The guy came, he was good, knowledgeable, checked insurance, rc and did full inspection of car and he told me that he rerely see such maintained cars. He check almost everything in around 45 mins and told me that withing 3-4hrs I will get a quote. I was very disappointed to see 4.8 lakh quote from their side. I mean is this normal, that first they offer a higher range then try to lowball you ? If yes then what are other better ways I can sell my car and what should be ideal expected price. Hey everyone, I’m writing this because I don’t want anyone else’s car dream to turn into a nightmare like mine did. A few days ago, I bought a “Spinny Certified” Hyundai i10 Nios (2021) from their Vega City hub in Bangalore. Everything looked perfect — clean photos, smooth talk, and “200+ point inspection” promises. But guess what? The very next day, the steering (EPS motor) failed. The car became unsafe to even drive. When I contacted them, I didn’t get clear answers. Just back-and-forth replies. Eventually, they agreed to refund — but that’s not a solution. Because refund doesn’t cover: • The emotional stress of seeing your new car break down the next day. • The time wasted in service centers and follow-ups. • The trust you lose in buying your dream car. I’m not doing this to hate or defame anyone — I’m doing this because many people like me save for years to buy their first car. A company that sells a car with a steering defect and calls it “certified” shouldn’t be allowed to play with people’s safety and emotions. Please, before buying from Spinny, do a full independent check at an authorized service center. And if you ask me honestly — don’t buy from them at all. No one deserves this stress after spending lakhs. I truly hope my experience helps someone avoid pain and disappointment. Context: I recently shifted to Mumbai and decided to buy a second hand car because of my limited budget of up-to 4-5 lacs. I got good reviews from a colleague about Cars24 and decided to look out for a car at Cars24. Then I got to know about Spinny and then I expanded mu search there as well. I will bifurcate my experience with both brands in two different sections for better readability. Experience with Cars24: One 2017 Grand i10 Asta priced at 3.85L caught my eye while scrolling their app and immediately I booked a home test drive of that car (paid 999 for that, later refunded). The car arrived at my location at the destined time and then I took a good test drive. During the test drive I felt that the Clutch of the car was not good which I explained to the Cars24 guy as well. Also, there were some parts that were not working (ORVM, Indicator etc.) which were marked as perfect in their 140-points checklist(NEVER TRUST THAT FOR ANY CAR). Following day, their sales person called and asked me whether I liked the car or not. I said yes because those issues were fixable and from there started the whole mess. The sales person sent me an approximate valuation of the car which was around 4.4L for the same car (their app showed 3.85L + 16K for RC transfer, Insurance & servicing). She explained that it is mandatory to purchase any of the warranty plans from their app or else they will not sell me the car. I resisted and then finally after 3 days of constant harassment, I said no to the deal. I don’t know whether this is Cars24 specific or only that sales person but I sure am not buying anything if they force me. Verdict: Cars24 has got some good cars but their inspection report means nothing. Their sales executives are trash and will force you to buy extras. Experience with Spinny: I visited their Seawoods, Navi Mumbai hub and one 2015 Hyundai Xcent priced at 3.81L caught my eye which I test drove the same day. The car was good in condition but I wanted to get it checked thoroughly by a mechanic so I gave them 10K booking amount and booked an inspection service from GoMechanic the subsequent day. The mechanic came, checked the car and suggested me not to buy it because the tires were not in good shape, the brake pad was replaying with a cheaper one, the steering was repaired badly and the clutch had some faults too. (As a normal person, I found the car to be in absolute good shape but when the mechanic told us these things I felt them too.) In spinny’s case also there were several problems like the infotainment system, power window not working, indicator issue which were not mentioned in the report. I repeat, NEVER TRUST THEIR REPORT. Then I asked the sales executive to get these things fixed and then we can proceed with buying. The sales guy agreed to get only the steering fixed, nothing else. The subsequent day, I got the valuation report from GoMechanic which was 2.11L only. So, I skipped that car too. Spinny is better than Cars24 in price transparency, they show you the final price in the app and do not ask for more. Also, the things that the Cars24 sales executive was trying to sell me are somewhat included in Spinny by default like Fastag, RSA, 1 year warranty, RC transfer, Insurance, Service etc. Final Verdict: I personally found these brands charging too much than they should. I sold my car through @myspinny on 23rd Oct 2024 #1722776 for Rs. 240000/-.they deducted Rs. 3000/- towards unpaid fines on the car & retained a balance of Rs. 10,000/- citing that this is a hold amount & will be paid at the time of transfer of ownership or within 180 days. I received 227,000/- from Swiggy. About 10 days earlier I received a call from the RTO that the car had come for registration & if we have received the entire consideration. I informed them that Rs. 10,000/- is pending & immediately raised a ticket on Spinny. After this they said our third party vendor will pay you in 2 days but nothing received. Various phone calls but nothing happened I kept on raising tickets. Today I received a call from them that the money has been forfeited as I refused to go to the RTO. This is a blatant lie. They have presented no evidence to back this. No email no sms nothing. They are now saying it’s the third party vendor who owes the money not Spinny. A) These are India’s unicorns. Feeding on the Indian public’s hard earned money. B) My deal was with Spinny. Why are they talking about shifting liabilities.
