We use the Tommee Tippee prep machine for making up bottles, so no having to wait for water to cool etc. it's a game changer. We do powder formula at home and the ready made bottles of formula when we are out and about.

I don’t keep track. I don’t see the need. We off water or milk at all meals and snacks. And then have water bottles around the house/car/diaper bag for her to grab or us to offer whenever. I’d rather her learn to regulate her own thirst over trying to push water. Assuming your son is healthy and not showing signs of dehydration I would recommend taking water tracking off your to do list.

@JeanLouiseFinch 🌸 I’d rather skip the ice if I had to make ice from a water bottle. We’ve never bought bottled water for home. There’s no guarantee that the plastic bottles were not exposed to hot temps in storage or transit.

Hi! I’ve used so many different water bottles over the years but I always seem to gravitate to another one after a while for one reason or another. Currently I really love a few different ones but would love some recommendations and suggestions based on your experiences. Owala FreeSip Stanley Tumbler Nalgene Widemouth HydroFlask I’d love to find a reasonably sized bottle. I’ve found that 40oz is a bit too heavy to take on the go like on a walk, but anything smaller than 24oz is just too small. Ideally the bottle would be able to fit into standard cup holders and be insulated. I would also love to find one without a billion pieces to clean. I find that my Stanley is a bit of work to clean since there’s so many little gaskets (I have two leak resistant gaskets on the lid). I love straws but it isn’t a dealbreaker per se. Hopefully that’s not an unreasonable list. I know it might not be possible to find one that fits all of the criteria, which is fine. Ordered this Yeti around the holidays and it never showed up, which seemed weird. I forgot about it for a while until the snow finally melted, and sure enough there it was, tossed into a flower garden 20+ feet from any door. Should be an advertisement for Yeti. Carrying a water bottle in my Tomtoc cross body sling always seems to take up way too much room and makes the bag bulky. Finally found a water bottle that works and thought I would share. I’ve been looking into getting a better water bottle lately and, honestly, the more I look, the more overwhelmed I get. There are so many options out there, and everyone seems to have a different favorite. What I’m looking for is something durable, leak-proof, and easy to clean. Ideally, it should keep drinks cold or hot, fit in a cup holder or backpack, and not have that weird plastic taste. So I'm wanting to purchase a new water bottle. I always would buy cheap ones say like Hydrapeak ones from like TJ Maxx or Ross. However I'm needing a very good water bottle that will keep water cold (40oz or higher) and that it won't have these little plastic thingies that most water bottles have on the inside. The reason being it's so annoying to clean/hand wash them and they mold at times (though I do my best to wash my bottle everyday). But the other issue is I just struggle to remove the plastic/silicone and then put it back on. My other thing is I hate straws. So a Stanley is an absolute no. (Also not a fan of the handle).
