Review: Cuisinart TOA-70 Air Fryer Toaster Oven – Is the Analog King Still Worth It?
If you’ve spent any time looking for a toaster oven, you’ve seen the Cuisinart TOA-60. It was the gold standard for years. Cuisinart recently dropped the TOA-70, and after months of testing, it’s clear they didn’t just slap a new number on the box—they actually fixed the common gripes while keeping the "dead simple" analog feel we love. https://preview.redd.it/hva6fpedqzlg1.jpg?width=679&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=355dc18a0eb8082d9f955e625809af0a85a11ca8 At around $180–$210, it’s a powerhouse for families (3-4 people) who want speed without menu-diving into digital screens. The Quick Verdict The TOA-70 is easily one of the best toaster ovens on the market. It’s durable, faster than its predecessor, and quieter. While it lacks the "smart" features of digital competitors, its raw cooking performance—especially for air frying and roasting—is top-tier. Pros: Insane Power: Six quartz heating elements (upgraded from nichrome) hit temps fast. Better Air Frying: The top-mounted fan provides superior circulation compared to side-fan models. Quality of Life Upgrades: Quieter fan, better cord management, and easier-to-clean stainless interior. Dedicated Toast Dial: No more guessing on the main timer; the fourth dial is just for shade. Cons: Analog Quirk: The timer doesn't automatically adjust for a "second batch" (the oven is already hot, so you have to manually turn it down). Light Logic: Opening the door turns the light off (annoying when checking food). Quartz Cleaning: If you splash grease directly on the elements, they are harder to scrub than old-school metal ones. Performance Deep Dive 1. Air Frying (The Star Player) This is where the TOA-70 justifies its price. Pizza: It cooked a 9-inch thick-crust pizza in just 3:30 at 450°F. The crust was crunchy, and the cheese perfectly caramelized. Wings/Chicken: It beat out digital ovens with rotisserie kits. A 3-lb chicken took 40 minutes and came out with skin so crispy it literally flaked off. Fries: 15 minutes at 400°F gets you frozen fries that taste deep-fried without the oil. 2. The Toast Test It fits 6 slices (barely), but 4 is the sweet spot. The "Medium" setting is exactly 5 minutes. The Catch: Because of the quartz elements, the top browns perfectly, but the bottom can be slightly spotty. Pro Tip: If you're doing a second batch immediately after the first, turn the dial to "Light." Since the oven is already preheated, the "Medium" setting will burn your second round. 3. Build & Cleanup The TOA-70 feels like a tank but is surprisingly lighter than the TOA-60. The interior is polished stainless steel, which makes wiping away grease splatters much easier. The crumb tray also slides out smoothly and fits tighter than the older model, so fewer crumbs end up on your counter. What’s in the Box? You get a solid accessory kit: Oven Rack & Baking Pan (Standard) Air Fryer Basket (Elevated for airflow) Ceramic-Coated Griddle (PTFE/PFOA-free and great for breakfast meats) Should You Buy It? Buy it if: You hate digital menus, want the best air-fried chicken/pizza possible, and need a machine that starts cooking the second you turn a knob. Skip it if: You want programmed presets, "set it and forget it" digital accuracy, or have very limited vertical counter space (the top fan makes it a bit tall). Comparing Breville Smart Oven Pro vs Smart Oven Air Fryer: What are the key differences?
If you’re trying to decide between the Breville Smart Oven Pro and the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer, you’re not alone this is one of the most common countertop oven dilemmas. This guide is here to help you cut through the marketing noise and actually understand what matters. I’ll walk you through the real differences, where each model shines, and when you might regret picking one over the other. Quick caveat: both ovens are premium appliances. They’re not cheap, and they’re not small. If you’re tight on counter space or budget, you’ll want to think twice before committing. By the end, you’ll know: Which one suits your cooking style What features actually matter (and what’s just hype) Which one I’d recommend in different situations Quick Overview: What’s the Core Difference? At a high level: Feature Smart Oven Pro Smart Oven Air Fryer Main Purpose Convection oven Convection + air frying Air Frying No Yes Size Slightly smaller Larger Cooking Functions 10 13+ Best For Baking, roasting, reheating Crisping, frying, versatility Simple analogy: Think of the Smart Oven Pro as a really good traditional oven. The Air Fryer version is that same oven but it also moonlights as a mini deep fryer (without the oil mess). Design & Size: Not Just a Countertop Detail Smart Oven Pro More compact Easier to fit in smaller kitchens Still big enough for: 12-inch pizza 6 slices of toast Smart Oven Air Fryer Noticeably larger and taller Needs more vertical clearance (important if you have cabinets above) Practical scenario: If your kitchen already feels cramped, the Air Fryer model might feel like inviting a bulky guest who never leaves. My take: If space is tight, I typically recommend the Smart Oven Pro. The Air Fryer version can feel oversized unless you actually use its extra features. Cooking Functions: Where Things Start to Diverge Smart Oven Pro Functions Toast Bake Roast Broil Pizza Reheat Warm Slow cook And more Smart Oven Air Fryer Functions Everything above, plus: Air Fry Dehydrate (low-temp drying for foods like fruits) More precise crisping modes What’s “air frying,” really? It’s just high-speed convection cooking hot air circulates quickly to crisp food. Think of it like a hair dryer blasting heat at your fries from all angles. Performance: Does Air Frying Actually Matter? Smart Oven Pro Excellent for: Baking cakes Roasting vegetables Even heating Not great for: Getting that deep-fried crisp Smart Oven Air Fryer Designed for: Crispy fries Chicken wings Frozen snacks Still performs well as a regular oven Real-life example: Reheating pizza: Both do great Making frozen fries: Pro: soft-ish, oven-style Air Fryer: crispy, closer to restaurant-style My opinion: If you love crispy food, the Air Fryer version is worth it. If not, you may never use that feature. Ease of Use: Controls & Learning Curve Both models use: Knobs + LCD display Pre-programmed settings Difference: Air Fryer model has more pre-sets slightly more to learn But honestly? If you can operate a microwave, you’ll figure this out in a day. Accessories: What You Get Smart Oven Pro Baking pan Broiling rack Smart Oven Air Fryer Everything above, plus: Air fry basket (mesh tray for airflow) Additional racks Why the basket matters: It allows air to circulate under the food key for crispiness. Energy & Cooking Speed Both are faster than traditional ovens. Air Fryer model advantages: Faster crisping Slightly quicker for small meals But here’s a reality check: Don’t expect miracles. It won’t cut cooking time in half it just makes certain foods better. Cleaning & Maintenance Smart Oven Pro Easier to clean Less splatter Smart Oven Air Fryer More grease and crumbs (thanks to frying) Basket needs regular cleaning Practical advice: If you hate cleaning, air frying might become a chore instead of a benefit. Price Difference Model Price Range (approx) Smart Oven Pro Lower Smart Oven Air Fryer Higher Rule of thumb: You’re paying extra mainly for air frying + added versatility. Who Should Buy Which? Choose Smart Oven Pro if: You mostly bake, toast, or roast You don’t care about crispy fried textures You want something more compact You prefer simplicity Choose Smart Oven Air Fryer if: You love crispy foods (fries, nuggets, wings) You want one appliance to do everything You cook frozen or snack foods often You don’t mind extra cleaning My Honest Recommendation If I had to simplify it: Casual home cook? Go with the Smart Oven Pro Snack lover or multitasker? Go with the Air Fryer version In my experience: People who buy the Air Fryer version either love it or barely use the feature after a month. There’s rarely a middle ground. submitted by /u/Zealousideal_Bus1270 to r/ThingsForTheHouse [link] [comments]

Are air fryer accessories universal?
Air fryer accessories are not truly universal, but a lot of them can work across different models if the size fits. Most accessories are basically just small pans, racks, or baskets made to sit inside the cooking chamber. Things like silicone liners, small baking pans, pizza pans, and grill racks often work in many air fryers. The main thing that matters is the diameter or overall size. If it physically fits inside the basket or oven without blocking airflow, it will usually work fine. Where people run into problems is with basket shape and capacity. Some air fryers have round baskets, others are square or rectangular. A rack designed for a round 5.8 quart basket might not sit right in a smaller square one. Height also matters. If an accessory is too tall it can sit too close to the heating element and cook unevenly. Another thing to watch is airflow. Air fryers rely on hot air circulation, so accessories that are too solid or oversized can block airflow and make food cook poorly. That is why most good accessories have holes or mesh. In my experience after trying a bunch of brands, the safest move is to buy accessories based on basket size rather than brand. For example, if you have a 5 quart or 6 quart air fryer, look for accessories made for that capacity range and check the actual measurements. So the short version is that many accessories are compatible across brands, but they are not truly universal. Size, shape, and airflow space matter way more than the logo on the box. submitted by /u/ExpertHorror4535 to r/AirFryTalk [link] [comments]

Do I need to buy liners for an air fryer?
I’ve been using air fryers for years and gone through a bunch of models from cheap basket units to bigger oven-style ones. Most of the time I don’t use liners at all. Air fryers are designed so hot air circulates around the food, and anything you put in the basket that blocks airflow can affect how evenly things cook. That said, liners can be useful in certain situations. If you’re cooking something really messy like marinated chicken, saucy wings, or anything that drips a lot of grease, a liner can save you some cleanup. Parchment liners with holes are usually better than the solid ones because they still let air move around. The downside is people sometimes overuse them. I’ve seen folks put liners in for everything, even fries or frozen food, which honestly doesn’t make much sense. It can reduce crispiness and sometimes the liner even lifts up from the fan if there isn’t enough food weighing it down. Personally I only use liners occasionally when I know the basket will be a pain to clean. For normal stuff like fries, nuggets, veggies, or reheating leftovers, I just cook straight in the basket and wash it after. So liners are more of a convenience thing, not a must-have accessory. If you hate scrubbing, they can help. If you don’t mind a quick wash, you can skip them entirely. submitted by /u/ExpertHorror4535 to r/AirFryTalk [link] [comments]

Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Review 2025: Is This the Last Air Fryer Oven You'll Ever Need?
t's 5:30 PM. You're tired. The kids are hungry. And the thought of standing over a hot stove for another 45 minutes makes you want to order pizza—again. You've tried the air fryer. It's great for frozen nuggets, but roasting a whole chicken? Forget it. You've looked at that expensive Instant Pot, but honestly, you barely have counter space for another appliance. And the convection oven your mother swore by? It takes forever to preheat and cooks unevenly. Here's what nobody tells you: most "versatile" kitchen appliances are really good at one thing and mediocre at everything else. That air fryer? It's a one-trick pony. That expensive multi-cooker? You're still stirring and watching. And those countertop convection ovens? Half of them don't actually crisp like they promise. That's why the Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven caught my attention. Nuwave is pitching this as a do-it-all replacement for your main oven—12 cooking functions, 142 presets, a smart probe, and a temperature range that goes from 50°F (yes, that's cold) all the way up to 500°F. Amazon calls it an "Amazon's Choice" product with nearly 2,000 reviews and a 4.4-star rating. But does it actually deliver? I dug into the specs, read through the real customer feedback, and compared it head-to-head with the competition. Here's what you need to know before spending $250 on this thing. What Makes the Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Different? Not Just Another Air Fryer Let me be clear about something: this isn't just a bigger air fryer. The Nuwave Bravo XL Pro is a 12-in-1 countertop convection oven that happens to air fry really well. It can toast, bake, roast, grill, dehydrate, slow cook, and even proof dough—something most air fryers literally cannot do because they can't get below 200°F. The key difference comes down to that temperature range. Most air fryers max out at around 400°F and can't go lower than roughly 180°F. The Bravo XL Pro starts at 50°F, which means you can actually use it for proofing bread dough, dehydrating fruits, and fermenting yogurt. That's not a gimmick—that's a legitimate feature that expands what you can cook by orders of magnitude. And at the high end? 500°F gives you the heat you need for proper pizza crusts, searing steaks, and getting that golden-brown finish that cheap air fryers simply cannot achieve. When a product claims it can replace your main oven, having this temperature range is what makes that claim actually plausible. The Smart Probe Matters More Than You Think If you've ever pulled a chicken out of the oven, cut into it, and found the breast perfectly cooked while the thighs are still raw—you already understand why a meat thermometer matters. The Nuwave Bravo XL Pro includes a smart probe that plugs directly into the unit and monitors internal temperature as your food cooks. You set the target temp (say, 165°F for chicken breast), and the oven alerts you when it's done. No more cutting into meat to check. No more dry breast because you left it in "just a few more minutes." It's one of those features that sounds like overkill until you use it once and wonder how you ever cooked without it. Here's what surprised me: the probe is included in the box. Many competitors sell their smart probes separately for $30-$50 extra. That alone is a significant value advantage. 142 Presets: Helpful or Overwhelming? Nuwave advertises 142 presets—100 one-touch cooking programs plus 30 memory slots where you can save your own recipes. Is this useful or just marketing noise? The honest answer: it depends on how you cook. If you're the type who wants to press one button and walk away, the presets are fantastic. You've got dedicated settings for wings, pizza, baked potatoes, cookies, toast (10 different darkness levels), and dozens more. The 30 memory slots mean you can fine-tune your favorite meals and save them for next time. But here's the catch: some users report that the presets run hotter or cooler than they expected. The solution is to use the preset as a starting point, then adjust time and temperature based on your results. After two or three uses, you'll know exactly how your Bravo XL Pro cooks your favorite foods, and the memory function makes it easy to save those settings. Think of the presets as training wheels, not a permanent solution. Once you learn the oven, you'll probably bypass most of them. How It Works: The Technology Behind the Results Ultra-Fast Convection System The Bravo XL Pro uses what Nuwave calls an "Ultra-Fast Convection System" with a high-velocity fan and 1800 watts of power. In plain English: there's a very powerful fan moving hot air around your food very quickly, which is how you get crispy results with little to no oil. The marketing claims "3X faster" and "35% crispier" compared to traditional methods. While I can't verify those exact percentages without controlled testing, the physics checks out. Convection cooking is scientifically proven to be more efficient than conventional radiant heat, and 1800 watts is competitive with high-end convection ovens. What makes this system actually work well is the combination of top and bottom heating elements that you can adjust independently. Most air fryers have only top heating. The Bravo XL Pro lets you control top heat (0-100%) and bottom heat (0-100%) separately. For pizza, you want high bottom heat for a crispy crust and lower top heat so the cheese doesn't burn. For baked goods, you might want the opposite. This level of control is what transforms this from a "fancy toaster" into a legitimate cooking appliance. The Grill Function: A Surprising Addition Here's the feature I didn't expect to care about but totally do: the included grill plate. The Bravo XL Pro comes with a reversible grill/griddle that sits inside the oven and lets you cook foods with authentic char-grill marks and that smoky flavor you'd normally only get from an outdoor grill. The plate has a ceramic non-stick coating and dual drip spouts to drain excess oil and water. You can use it indoors, year-round, regardless of weather. Is it exactly like a charcoal grill? No. But for apartment dwellers, winter cooking, or anyone who doesn't want to fire up an outdoor grill for a quick dinner, it's a genuinely useful feature that expands your cooking options significantly. Who Is This NOT For? (An Honest Assessment) I always appreciate when reviews tell me who shouldn't buy a product, so let me be upfront about who might want to skip the Nuwave Bravo XL Pro: If you have very limited counter space, this might not work for you. The dimensions are approximately 20 inches wide, 14 inches deep, and 11 inches tall. That's bigger than most air fryers and requires a dedicated counter spot. Measure your space before ordering. If you want "set it and forget it" cooking, you'll need to adjust your expectations. While the presets and timer help, convection cooking does require some monitoring, especially when you're learning the oven's quirks. This isn't a slow cooker where you can fill it and leave for 8 hours. If you're on a tight budget, $250 is a significant investment. Cheaper air fryers exist, and they work fine for basic needs. The Bravo XL Pro justifies its price through versatility and build quality, but only if you actually use that versatility. If you hate reading manuals, be warned: this oven has a learning curve. The interface is intuitive once you understand it, but you'll want to spend 20-30 minutes experimenting before cooking anything important. Pros and Cons: The Bottom Line What I Love The temperature range is unmatched. Being able to proof dough at 80°F and then crank it up to 500°F for a pizza sear in the same appliance is genuinely powerful. There is no other air fryer-toaster oven on the market that gives you this range. The smart probe is included, not sold separately. That alone saves you $30-$50 compared to competitors, and it genuinely makes cooking meat easier and more reliable. The 30-quart capacity is massive for a countertop appliance. You can fit a 10-pound chicken, two 13-inch pizzas, or enough fries for a family of four. Most air fryers struggle to handle a whole chicken; this one makes it easy. The PFAS-free certification matters more than you might think. There's growing awareness around "forever chemicals" in non-stick cookware, and knowing your oven is free from these compounds is a meaningful health advantage. The 5 heavy-duty accessories included (grill plate, multiple racks, trays) mean you don't need to buy anything else to get started. Some competitors charge extra for basic accessories. What Could Be Better The learning curve is real. Some users report confusion with the interface initially, and finding the right preset requires experimentation. Plan to spend a few sessions learning the oven before you trust it with your Thanksgiving turkey. The fan noise is noticeable. It's not unbearable, but it's louder than a traditional oven. If you're sensitive to noise or cook early in the morning, this is worth considering. Some plastic components initially can have a slight smell during first uses. It dissipates after 2-3 uses, but it's worth mentioning if you're sensitive to new appliance odors. Competition: How Does It Stack Up? I compared the Nuwave Bravo XL Pro against the most popular alternatives on Amazon: Feature Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 CHEF iQ MiniOven Price $249.99 $199.99 $399.99 Capacity 30QT 21QT 25QT Temp Range 50-500°F 50-450°F N/A Presets 142 ~50 50+ Smart Probe Included Sold separately Included PFAS Free Yes Yes Unknown The Nuwave Bravo XL Pro wins on value. You get more capacity, a wider temperature range, more presets, and the included probe—all for $50 less than the CHEF iQ and only $50 more than the Ninja (while significantly outperforming it on capacity and temperature range). Frequently Asked Questions Is the Nuwave Bravo XL Pro actually PFAS free? Yes. The product is explicitly marketed and certified as PFAS free on Amazon. This is a significant advantage over competitors that haven't made this certification, especially as consumers become more aware of potential health concerns with non-stick coatings. How long does shipping take? Amazon Prime members receive delivery in 2-3 business days. The product is currently in stock and shipping from Amazon's warehouse. International shipping is available but adds approximately $164 in import fees for countries like Germany, with delivery times of 2+ weeks. What's the warranty? Amazon provides a 30-day return policy for refunds or replacements. Nuwave offers its own warranty (typically 1 year for standalone purchases), but warranty terms vary by seller. I recommend purchasing from Amazon for the most straightforward return experience, and always keep your original packaging for at least 30 days. Can this really replace my main oven? For most households, yes—particularly if you have a smaller primary oven or want a more energy-efficient option for everyday cooking. The 30-quart capacity handles most family meals, and the temperature precision actually exceeds many built-in ovens. However, if you regularly cook massive holiday meals for 10+ people, you'll still need a full-size oven. Does the air fryer function work better than a standalone air fryer? Yes, significantly better in most cases. The larger capacity means you can air fry more food at once without overcrowding (which is the #1 enemy of crispy results). The convection system is more powerful than most dedicated air fryers, and the ability to adjust top and bottom heat independently gives you more control over results. Conclusion: Should You Buy the Nuwave Bravo XL Pro? After digging through the specs, reading nearly 2,000 reviews, and comparing it against the competition, here's my honest assessment: The Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven is genuinely one of the most versatile countertop cooking appliances you can buy in 2025. It combines the speed of air frying, the precision of a convection oven, the functionality of a grill, and the versatility to handle everything from proofed bread to charred steaks. At $249.99, it's not cheap. But when you consider what it replaces—a good air fryer ($80-$150), a quality toaster oven ($100-$200), a grill pan ($30-$50), and potentially a bread proofing setup—the value becomes clear. This single appliance can genuinely replace 4-5 other tools in your kitchen. The key question is: will you use that versatility? If you're someone who cooks most meals at home, values flexibility in the kitchen, and wants to reduce countertop clutter, this is an excellent investment. If you only air fry occasionally and are happy with your current setup, there's no urgent reason to upgrade. For me, the smart probe alone—something you'd pay extra for on competitors—makes this worth the price. Combined with the unmatched temperature range, the included accessories, and that PFAS-free certification, the Bravo XL Pro earns my recommendation as the best high-end air fryer toaster oven in its class. Bottom Line: If you're ready to upgrade your kitchen game with one appliance that can actually do it all, the Nuwave Bravo XL Pro delivers. It's built well, cooks precisely, and gives you more flexibility than anything else in its price range. Check for seasonal discounts here. This article contains affiliate links. Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro Accessories
Enjoying my purchase + thinking about buying some of the accessories. Specifically the cutting board, air fryer baskets + pizza tray. Trying to figure our if they're worth buying from breville or get the items somewhere else for less. I've seen pizza pans and air fryer baskets (aka crisping baskets w/ a drip tray that breville doesn't offer) advertised elsewhere. I'm using foil + or parchment paper to keep it clean but think the drip tray would help. If anyone has purchased any of those items (or others) from Breville or anywhere please give me your reviews, good or bad. Any other tips or things to avoid are appreciated. Best Toaster Ovens with Air Fryers 2026
Hey everyone, If you are not familiar with us, we are from Requiremints (operating also the Mint99 product research platform) and we spend our time digging through specs and testing notes so you don't have to. We recently reviewed 30+ options for toaster ovens with air frying capabilities across different price ranges. Quick note on the "Air Fryer" feature before we start: An air fryer in a toaster oven is basically just a high-powered convection fan. It blows hot air around rapidly to crisp up food like fries or wings without needing a deep fryer. It is a game changer for reheating leftovers too :) Here are a few things to consider before buying: Counter Space vs. Capacity. Measure your counter. Some of these units are massive (can fit a turkey) while others are compact or flip up to save space. Don't buy a beast if you only have a small corner available. Cleaning. Look for non-stick interiors and accessible crumb trays. Air frying can get messy with grease splatter, so you want something easy to wipe down. Control Type. Digital screens offer more precision for temperature (better for baking), while manual dials are faster to set if you just want to make toast quickly. Here are the ones that stood out to us, grouped by category. Top Picks & Premium Options [Best Overall Premium] Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro (BOV900) - This is a beast. It fits a whole turkey and uses smart heating to eliminate cold spots. It is pricey, but the convection fan cuts cooking time way down. [Most Advanced Tech] Breville Joule Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro (BOV950) - The high-tech cousin of the other Breville. It has tons of smart presets to make sure you do not mess up expensive ingredients and gives very consistent results. [Smartest Large Oven] Ninja Prestige Smart XL with Pro Cook System (DT551) - Uses a smart thermometer to stop cooking exactly when the food is done. You do not have to rotate trays, which is a nice quality of life feature. Best Value & Budget Friendly [Best Value Overall] Ninja Foodi (SP101) - This one flips up against the wall to save space when you aren't using it. It cooks fast and is perfect if you hate clutter on your counter. [Best Budget Pick] CHEFMAN Multifunctional Digital Air Fryer+ - The price is hard to beat. It is smaller (10L) but does the job for air frying and rotisserie without taking up your whole kitchen. [Best Family Value] Gourmia XL French Door Air Fryer Oven (GTF3588) - Massive 37-quart capacity for a very low price. It comes with all the accessories you need and is easy to clean. Great for big families on a budget. [Great Budget French-Door] Midea Flexify French Door Air Fryer Oven (MET26C3AST) - A solid cheaper option for the French door style. It heats evenly and cuts down on oil use, plus the temperature control is surprisingly precise. Compact & Space Saving [Best Space Saver] Ninja Flip Toaster Oven Air Fryer (SP151) - Similar to the SP101 but slightly different specs. It flips up to reclaim 50% of your counter space and uses infrared heat for even crisping. [Best Compact Option] Cuisinart Air Fryer Oven with Grill (TOA-70) - Great if you are short on space but still want serious heat. It heats up super fast and handles everything from toast to a 4lb chicken easily. [Best Aesthetic Mini] Our Place Wonder 6-in-1 Air Fryer Oven - Really good looking unit for smaller kitchens. It uses a cool steam infusion trick to keep food moist while the air frying crisps the outside. Large Capacity & Multitasking [Best Value French-Door] Emeril Everyday 26 Qt Air Fryer Toaster Oven - Love the French doors here. It is huge inside but fits nicely on the counter. The air circulation is solid for getting things crispy without burning your toast. [Best Large Capacity] Emeril Lagasse Dual Zone 360 Air Fryer Oven - You can cook a main and a side at different temps at the same time. It is massive and syncs the finish times so everything is ready together. Hopefully this helps narrow it down for you. Cosori or Cuisinart oven door air fryer.
My mom picked up this Cuisinart air fryer from Costco for $160CAD on sale from $190. I was looking at this cosori one tho it has a rotisserie function that seems interesting. The cosori is currently at $190CAD but I've seen it go to $150 so I'll pick it up when it drops again. Obviously I know most of these sales are bogus especially on Amazon. But just wondering if any could help me decide, Thanks. submitted by /u/Silverbolt626 to r/airfryer [link] [comments]

What accessories do you need for an air fryer?
I’ve owned and used a ridiculous number of air fryers over the years basket style, oven style, cheap ones, expensive ones. Short answer is you don’t actually need many accessories to use an air fryer well, but a few extras can make life easier depending on what you cook. The only accessory I’d call close to essential is a good set of heat resistant tongs. You end up flipping food way more than you expect, especially wings, veggies, nuggets, or anything small. Tongs make that faster and safer than trying to shake the basket every time. A small spray bottle for oil is another big one. Most air fryers work best with a light mist of oil, not the aerosol stuff that can damage the coating. Being able to control how much oil you use makes food crisp better and keeps the basket in good shape. If you cook a lot of messy or marinated foods, parchment liners or reusable silicone liners are very handy. They make cleanup much easier. Just make sure they’re weighed down by food so they don’t fly up into the heating element. I personally prefer perforated parchment so airflow isn’t blocked. A basic metal rack or multi layer rack is useful if you want to cook more food at once. This is especially helpful for bacon, wings, or reheating leftovers when you don’t want everything piled up. Not required, but nice to have. For baking or anything with batter, a small oven safe pan that fits your fryer is great. Think brownies, banana bread, quiche, or even reheating pasta. Silicone or metal both work fine as long as they’re air fryer safe and sized correctly. Things you probably don’t need are the huge accessory kits with ten different pieces. Half of those end up in a drawer forever. Egg bite molds, pizza pans, skewers, cake barrels, most people use them once or twice at best. If I were starting over, I’d buy tongs, an oil sprayer, liners, and maybe one small pan. Everything else is optional and depends on what you actually cook. Air fryers are at their best when you keep things simple and let hot air do the work. submitted by /u/ExpertHorror4535 to r/AirFryTalk [link] [comments]

Nuwave Bravo Pro Convection Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo (2025 Model)
Ever look at your kitchen counter and think, I need one appliance that does everything and does it well? Yeah, same here. I tested, cooked, burned a few things, and finally landed on something that actually earned its spot. Let me tell you why the Nuwave Bravo Pro Convection Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo (2025 Model) surprised me in a good way. First Impressions and Why This One Feels Different I unboxed the 2025 Bravo Pro and immediately noticed the Cozy Blue finish. It looks calm, modern, and way less industrial than most countertop ovens. I actually left it out instead of hiding it in a cabinet, which says a lot. More importantly, this thing feels solid. It does not scream cheap gadget energy. Have you ever picked up an appliance and thought, yeah, this will last? That was my vibe here. Size That Actually Makes Sense The 21-Quart Sweet Spot The 21-quart capacity hits a perfect middle ground. It fits a 12-inch pizza, a whole chicken, or a family-sized tray of fries without hogging your entire counter. I love that it balances space and power. Huge XL ovens sound nice until they take over your kitchen. This one feels intentional. What fits comfortably inside: 12-inch pizza 4-pound chicken 4-pound roast Two racks of food at once IMO, this size works best for daily cooking without regret later. Linear Thermal Technology, AKA the Secret Sauce Independent Top and Bottom Heat Control This feature sold me. The Linear Thermal Technology lets you control top and bottom heat separately. Most countertop ovens guess. This one listens. Ever burned cheese while the crust stayed pale? Yeah, that stopped happening. You can: Push more heat to the bottom for crispy pizza crust Favor top heat for broiling and melting cheese Balance both for baking I set pizza mode to about 70 percent bottom heat and 30 percent top heat. The crust came out crisp and the cheese melted perfectly. No drama, no rotating trays. Air Frying That Actually Feels Legit Quick and Even Crisp Technology The 2025 model upgrades the fan system, and you feel it immediately. The high-velocity fan moves air fast and evenly. Air frying works because hot air strips moisture quickly. This oven nails that process. Real results I noticed: Fries crisp faster than my old basket fryer Wings brown evenly without flipping Frozen food stops tasting sad Nuwave claims faster cooking and crispier results. From my testing, those claims feel fair. PFAS-Free Interior, Because Health Matters Duralon Blue Gen10 Ceramic Coating This oven uses PFAS-free Duralon Blue ceramic coating, and I appreciate that more than I expected. No PTFE, no PFOA, no weird chemical smell. I cook at high heat often. I want peace of mind, not fumes. Why this matters: Safe at high temperatures Easy cleanup with a damp cloth Scratch resistant and durable FYI, this coating also makes cleanup stupid easy. Cheese drips wipe off without scrubbing. Temperature Control That Feels Precise Low and Slow to Hot and Fast The Bravo Pro runs from 50°F to 450°F, adjustable in 5-degree steps. That range opens up serious flexibility. I used it to dehydrate fruit, proof dough, roast meat, and broil veggies. It handles all of it without acting confused. Key highlights: Yogurt making at low temps Dehydration for hours Proper broiling at high heat The digital display stays bright and readable, even from across the kitchen. 12-in-1 Presets That Actually Make Sense Not Just Fancy Buttons I usually ignore presets, but these feel thoughtfully tuned. Each one adjusts heat balance and fan speed, not just time. Some presets I actually use: Air Fry Pizza Bake Broil Toast Dehydrate Reheat Toast mode includes a darkness selector, which saved me from burnt breakfast regrets :) Smart Temperature Probe, Because Guessing Sucks The digital temperature probe plugs right into the oven and tracks internal meat temperature. You set a target temp, and the oven shuts off automatically. I cooked chicken to exactly 165°F without babysitting it. That alone earned points. Why this rocks: No overcooking Perfect doneness Less stress Ever pulled meat too early or too late? Yeah, this fixes that. Noise Level, Let’s Be Honest Air fryers make noise. This one gives you control. Fan speed levels: Level 3 for air frying, loud but effective Level 1 for baking, pretty quiet Fan off for toasting, silent At max speed, it sounds like a microwave or range hood. Totally manageable. Accessories You Actually Use The box includes everything you need to start cooking immediately. Included accessories: Heavy-duty cooking rack Air fry basket Baking pan Crumb tray Smart temperature probe No cheap throw-ins here. Everything feels sturdy and usable. Cleanup and Maintenance Without Tears I wipe the interior with a damp cloth. That’s it. The crumb tray slides out easily, which helps avoid smoke later. Quick tips: Empty the crumb tray often Avoid abrasive scrubbers Let elements cool before cleaning Yes, greasy foods can cause smoke. That happens with every air fryer. A little water in the drip pan helps. How It Compares to Other Nuwave Models Bravo Pro vs Bravo XL The XL fits bigger meals but eats counter space. The Bravo Pro cooks faster for daily meals and preheats quicker. Bravo Pro vs Pro Plus 2 The Pro Plus 2 shines for roasting large birds. The Bravo Pro wins for baking, pizza, and multitasking. If you want one oven that does almost everything well, this one makes more sense. Is It Worth Buying? Short answer, yes. Longer answer, still yes. This oven combines professional heat control, health-safe materials, and real-world usability without feeling overwhelming. If you want to check current pricing or availability, you can see it here 👉 Nuwave Bravo Pro on Amazon Final Thoughts, Straight Talk The Nuwave Bravo Pro Convection Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo (2025 Model) feels like an appliance designed by people who actually cook. It gives control without confusion and power without bulk. I use it almost daily now. My full-size oven feels lonely, and honestly, I do not feel bad about that. If you want faster meals, better results, and fewer appliances cluttering your kitchen, this one deserves a serious look. Ever owned something that quietly makes cooking more fun? Yeah, this does that. submitted by /u/Lucifer19821 to r/HomeOvens25 [link] [comments]

Ninja Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer SP151: The Space-Saving Kitchen Hero You Didn’t Know You Needed
Ever looked at your kitchen counter and thought, “Where did all my space go?” Yeah, me too. Between the coffee machine, blender, and random gadgets we swear we’ll use “someday,” the counter starts looking like a tech convention. That’s where the Ninja Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer SP151 struts in — sleek, smart, and ready to earn its keep. What Makes the Ninja SP151 So Special? Alright, here’s the deal. The Ninja SP151 isn’t your average toaster oven. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of kitchen appliances — it bakes, air fries, toasts, roasts, broils, dehydrates, and even handles pizza night like a champ. Eight functions in one box. Not bad, right? But the real magic? The “Flip-Up” design. When you’re done cooking, this bad boy literally flips up against your backsplash, cutting its countertop footprint by about 50%. If you live in a small apartment or just value clean counter space (🙋♂️), this design is a total game-changer. Compact Yet Mighty: Size, Power, and Performance You might be wondering, “Can something that small actually handle real meals?” Short answer — yes, and surprisingly well. Here’s the quick rundown: Dimensions: 17.01 x 15.75 x 7.68 inches (about 43 x 40 x 19.5 cm) Power: 1800 watts of cooking muscle Capacity: Big enough to handle a 12” pizza, six slices of toast, or four pounds of chicken Accessories included: Air fry basket, wire rack, sheet pan, and a crumb tray So yeah, you’re not roasting a Thanksgiving turkey in here, but for weeknight dinners, snacks, or meal prep, it’s more than capable. The Secret Sauce: OvenCrisp Technology Let’s talk cooking results. Ninja uses what it calls OvenCrisp Technology — basically a combo of infrared heating and hot air circulation. Translation: your food comes out evenly cooked and satisfyingly crispy, minus the oil bath of deep frying. I tried air-frying some frozen fries and chicken wings (because who doesn’t love a quick cheat meal?), and they came out golden and crunchy without me standing guard like a hawk. And FYI, it heats up fast — no 10-minute preheat dance. Everyday Cooking, Simplified This little powerhouse shines in everyday use. Whether you’re reheating leftovers, making mini pizzas, or whipping up roasted veggies, the SP151 delivers. Top perks I noticed: Super fast preheat: No more waiting forever for your oven to hit temperature. Even cooking: Whether baking cookies or air-frying shrimp, results stay consistent. Energy efficient: Smaller than a standard oven, so it uses less power and doesn’t turn your kitchen into a sauna. And because it’s compact, it’s great for 1-4 person households. If you’re solo or part of a couple, it might become your new go-to. But Let’s Be Real: It’s Not Perfect Okay, time for some honesty. No gadget is flawless, right? The Ninja SP151 has a few quirks you should know about before you hit Add to Cart. What’s not so great: Limited height: Tall dishes or whole chickens? Nope. The chamber’s a bit shallow. Cleaning could be easier: There’s no non-stick coating inside, and getting into corners can be tricky. Voltage mismatch: Designed for 120V (US standard), so if you’re in Europe or Malta, you’ll need a converter or look for a compatible version. So yeah, it’s not replacing your full-size oven for holiday roasts. But for quick meals and snacks? Total win. The Flip-Up Design — Genius or Gimmick? You’d think flipping an oven upright sounds weird (and maybe risky?). But trust me, it works. The hinge design is sturdy, and once flipped, the oven locks neatly into place. You reclaim half your counter, and it even looks kind of cool sitting there vertically. If you’ve got a tiny kitchen or love that minimalist vibe, this alone might sell you. Comparing to Its Big Brother: SP351 If you’re deep in the Ninja lineup, you’ve probably seen the SP351, the slightly fancier sibling. The SP351 has 13 cooking modes (versus SP151’s 8) and adds features like “Sear Crisp” and “Rapid Bake.” So is it worth upgrading? IMO, unless you’re doing some next-level kitchen wizardry, the SP151 hits the sweet spot of price, performance, and practicality. It gives you all the essentials without the extra bells you might never use. Who Is the SP151 Really For? Let’s break it down. Perfect for: Apartment dwellers with limited space Busy professionals or students who want quick, healthy meals Small families who cook daily but don’t need a massive oven Anyone tired of clutter and bulky appliances Maybe skip it if: You love baking tall cakes or roasts You cook for a large family You can’t be bothered with extra cleaning effort In other words, it’s a dream for casual cooks and meal-prep fans, not so much for full-time bakers. Real-World User Feedback Users are seriously into this thing. Across major retailers, it averages around 4.7 out of 5 stars from hundreds of reviews. The biggest praises? Quick cooking Compact size Crisp results Easy operation And the biggest gripes? You guessed it — cleaning and uneven toasting when the oven is fully loaded. But hey, show me one toaster oven that hasn’t been accused of uneven toasting and I’ll buy it myself. ;) Price & Availability When it first dropped, the Ninja SP151 was around $249, which made people hesitate. But good news — lately it’s been spotted on sale for around $149.94, a solid 40% off. If you’re curious, you can check the current price and availability here 👉 Buy on Amazon Just FYI, prices fluctuate fast, especially around holidays, so keep an eye out if you’re deal hunting. Living in Malta or Europe? Read This Now, if you’re in the EU (like Malta), a quick heads-up: the SP151 is made for 120V, which is the US standard. Plugging it in directly could fry the appliance (and possibly your patience). You’ll either need a voltage converter or to look for a European-spec model. Aside from that, this appliance totally suits European kitchens, where space is usually tighter. That flip-up trick isn’t just marketing fluff — it really helps when your kitchen counter doubles as your workspace. Cleaning & Maintenance Tips Alright, cleaning is where most people groan. The Ninja SP151 doesn’t have a non-stick interior, so some TLC is required. Here’s what I learned to make it less annoying: Use parchment or foil when possible to catch drips. Wipe down after every use (seriously, don’t skip this). Remove the crumb tray often — it’s the unsung hero that saves you from burnt bits. Avoid harsh chemicals; warm soapy water does the trick. Do that, and you’ll keep it shiny without hating cleanup day. Final Verdict: Is It Worth It? So, after all that — is the Ninja Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer SP151 worth buying? Absolutely, if you: Want versatility in one appliance Need to save counter space Prefer quick, healthy cooking Don’t mind cleaning a bit more than usual It’s not perfect (what is?), but it strikes a near-perfect balance between functionality and practicality. You’ll actually use it — not just store it like that forgotten bread maker. If you’re looking to upgrade your kitchen without cluttering it, the SP151 is a seriously smart choice. 👉 Grab yours here: Ninja Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer SP151 on Amazon submitted by /u/Lucifer19821 to r/HomeOvens25 [link] [comments]

Typhur Sync Oven with Smart Wireless Meat Thermometer Probe, 12 in 1 Countertop Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo, 360 Turbo Convection
Ever looked at your kitchen counter and thought, why do I have five different appliances fighting for space like they own the place? I felt the same way until I tried the Typhur Sync Oven with Smart Wireless Meat Thermometer Probe, and suddenly everything else looked like it needed early retirement. If you want one powerhouse that cooks fast, cooks evenly, and actually makes you feel like you know what you are doing, this thing deserves your attention. I spent the past few weeks testing it with everything from roast chicken to leftover pizza. Spoiler alert: it handled both like a champ. Curious why this machine gets so much hype? Grab a snack and let me walk you through it. Check the Typhur Sync Oven here Why the Typhur Sync Oven Stands Out Right Away I judge kitchen appliances pretty quickly. If it complicates my life, it gets unplugged fast. The Typhur Sync Oven did the opposite. It made me think, why did no one make this sooner? The first thing that hit me was how packed with real features it is. You get serious performance without needing an engineering degree to use it. Ever wondered why some ovens promise crispiness but give you soggy disappointment? The Typhur avoids that problem completely. Key Features That Make Life Easier Here is what jumped out at me immediately: 12 in 1 cooking functions that replace your air fryer, toaster oven, dehydrator, roaster, reheater, and that slow cooker you pretend you use. 360 degree Turbo Convection that blasts hot air evenly so food stays juicy inside but crispy outside. Smart Wireless Meat Thermometer Probe that actually works without you babysitting it. Large interior space that fits a whole chicken without performing oven Tetris. I cooked a tray of veggies and a roast at the same time, and everything finished together. Ever pulled food out hoping it would be crisp only to find it wet and sad? That does not happen here. See the latest price on Amazon The Smart Wireless Probe: The Feature I Did Not Know I Needed I always overcook meat when I am distracted. It becomes a talent at some point. So the smart wireless meat thermometer probe instantly became my favorite part of this oven. Ever wanted perfectly cooked steak without poking it fifty times or cutting it open like surgery? The probe sends real time temperature updates right to the display, so you never panic about whether dinner is raw or ruined. I used it on chicken thighs the other day, and the result shocked me. They came out juicy and tender, and IMO that alone justified the oven. Why the Probe Matters More Than You Think It prevents overcooking, which saves money and saves dinner. It works wirelessly so you avoid wires hanging everywhere like some science experiment. It adjusts the oven's heat automatically to hit the perfect temperature. Pretty smart for a countertop machine, right? Performance That Actually Matches the Hype I love shiny gadgets as much as anyone, but performance matters more than pretty screens. The Typhur Sync Oven nailed it in every test I threw at it. I made fries, wings, salmon, toast, cookies, and even reheated pizza. Everything came out with that even browning that most basic air fryers cannot manage. That 360 degree Turbo Convection does serious work. Ever used a cheap air fryer that cooks one side like lava and leaves the other side pale? Yeah, no thanks. How It Performs in Real Cooking Fries turn crispy without extra oil. Wings get crunchy and golden without burning. Salmon stays flaky, not dry. Bread toasts evenly without a burnt corner. Pizza reheats better than takeout. Yes, better. This oven hits the sweet spot between power and control. It cooks fast, but it also respects your food. Sounds cheesy, but if you cook often, you know exactly what I mean. 12 in 1: Do You Really Need That Many Functions? Honestly, yes. I thought it was overkill at first. But once I started using them, I realized how much clutter it replaced. My old toaster oven, air fryer, and dehydrator packed their bags mentally the moment this thing arrived. The Most Useful Functions Air Fry Toast Bake Roast Broil Reheat Dehydrate Slow Cook Warm Proof Pizza Custom presets Ever wanted to dehydrate fruit without babysitting them for twelve hours? This oven does it quietly. And the pizza mode might be my personal highlight. It produces that crispy bottom that makes you feel like you know what you are doing, even when you do not. :) View all functions on Amazon Ease of Use: The Part Everyone Cares About We all love cool tech, but if it stresses you out, it loses its charm fast. The Typhur Sync Oven keeps things simple. The touchscreen menu feels modern but not confusing, and every setting clearly explains what it does. I like how the oven gives real time temperature control instead of just blasting heat randomly like some budget air fryers. Everything feels intentional. You do not get lost in endless menus because the layout actually makes sense. Why It Feels Beginner Friendly Clear display with icons that actually look like what they represent. The wireless probe guides you through cooking like a friendly coach. Preheat times are fast so you do not lose patience and order takeout instead. The interior light lets you watch your food without opening the door every thirty seconds. FYI, if you love convenience, this thing might spoil you. Build Quality and Design: Does It Look Good on Your Counter? Short answer: yes. Long answer: definitely yes. The Typhur Sync Oven has a clean, modern look that fits in any kitchen without screaming for attention. It feels sturdy, and the controls do not feel cheap. I like appliances that feel like they will last more than two winters. This one gives that vibe immediately. Design Highlights Sleek matte finish that hides fingerprints. Sturdy door with a smooth open and close. Roomy interior without taking up ridiculous counter space. Thoughtful accessories that do not feel like afterthoughts. Ever bought an appliance that came with one flimsy tray that warped after one use? This is the opposite of that. Who Should Actually Buy the Typhur Sync Oven If you want a single appliance that handles almost everything you throw at it, this oven makes sense. It also suits people who cook often but hate fiddling with settings. The wireless probe turns anyone into a confident cook. It also works great for smaller kitchens because it replaces at least three or four common appliances. For anyone who loves juicy meat, crispy fries, and fast cooking, it fits perfectly. Ever wanted smart features that feel useful instead of gimmicky? Then this oven checks that box. Final Thoughts The Typhur Sync Oven with Smart Wireless Meat Thermometer Probe, 12 in 1 Countertop Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo, 360 Turbo Convection impressed me way more than I expected. It cooks fast, cooks evenly, and makes everything easier. It turns everyday meals into something that feels a bit more pro, and who does not want that? If you want an appliance that earns its counter space, this one delivers big time. Give it a shot and see how much smoother your cooking routine becomes.
