Enhances Bathroom Aesthetics
Bathroom vanities come in a variety of styles, materials, and finishes, allowing homeowners to choose a design that complements their bathroom decor. This can significantly enhance the overall aesthetics of the bathroom and create a cohesive look.
2
Increases Storage Space
One of the main advantages of bathroom vanities is the additional storage space they provide. With built-in cabinets, drawers, and shelves, homeowners can keep toiletries, towels, and other bathroom essentials neatly organized and easily accessible.
3

4
Customization Options
Bathroom vanities can be customized to fit the specific needs and preferences of homeowners. They can choose the size, shape, and configuration of the vanity to optimize space utilization and create a personalized bathroom layout.
5
Adds Value to the Home

Bathroom vanity advice from people who’ve already remodeled?
I’m planning a bathroom refresh and realizing the vanity choice is more complicated than I expected. For those who’ve already been through it: What did you prioritize — storage, size, materials, style? Any regrets or “wish I knew this earlier” moments? Trying to make a smart, livable choice and would love some real-world advice. submitted by /u/Complete_Dust5488 to r/bathrooms [link] [comments]

There is precisely 1 bathroom vanity that fit our small bathroom and one of the sink connectors blocks it. Happy New Year.
I spent all day cleaning/sanding/painting to prepare for this moment. Already tore the other one out and junked it. The position of the plumbing and the opening at the back were not filters on the Home Depot website. I feel incredibly stupid for not even thinking about the position of the water source. I hope your first day of 2026 is going better. submitted by /u/Frostyarn to r/Wellthatsucks [link] [comments]

I was surprised by how polarized the comments were to last night's post of tile details in my bathroom. A few people requested seeing the whole room. The floor, wall tiles, tub, and several accessories are original to my 1955 house. The toilet and vanity were replaced 15 years ago.
I had the room regrouted and a few tiles repaired several years ago. The tiles are set into concrete — the guy said probably about 1,000 pounds. The floor has a crack but it's been stable for the 22 years I've owned the house. I love the pink and blue. It's bright and cheerful and fits the period of the house, which is brick, stone, and wood in exterior and interior construction — lots of wood inside, especially in the main floor living area. submitted by /u/ermiwe to r/Mid_Century [link] [comments]

Upgraded bathroom from single to double vanity
Second big project that I’ve tackled alone in my house. Guest bathroom had old single sink vanity with laminate top and a large space to the left of the sink was pretty useless (original picture was the staged picture when we purchased the house). I didn’t want to continue applying lipstick on this pig, so we decided to upgrade the vanity, bathroom mirror, and lighting. Did everything myself including electric, drywall, and converted the pipes and drain from the single to double vanity. Overall, pretty happy how it came out. Mostly sharing because I’m a resident in the medical field, and hope to inspire any one who is afraid to tackle a project like this. Took a number of weekends and late nights, but with the help of a few YouTube videos and patience I was able to knock it out. submitted by /u/Chitown_Derp to r/DIY [link] [comments]

Bathroom Vanity--is there any way to make this work? Or return it?
Hiii!! Heading to the finish line on a lengthy backyard/pool reno (YAYYYY!). Finishing up the inside of the pool house to be ready for next month. When I measured for the bathroom vanity it was BEFORE the door trim was in. Of course then it fit fine. I never took into account the width of molding and now it doesn't. I did find on reddit some images of where the counter top was cut into the door trim BUT this vanity's counter top and door are exactly aligned so that wouldn't work. Is there anyway to make this work (please be kind...LOL) It's such a pain to have to return that's why I ask in case I am missing a possible solution...etc. I'm open if this is a TOTALLY NO, too! :-) Would just love some advice! Thanks so much! This sub has been so helpful to my sanity (LOL) through my whole reno process! submitted by /u/Startlovinglife to r/Renovations [link] [comments]

Top coat over painted vanity? Painted with SW emerald urethane
Two years ago, I had my bathroom vanity painted blue. The painter used SW emerald urethane. It looks good but occasionally gets tiny chips in it. I'm pretty sure he did everything correctly (sanding, priming etc.) but I still get little nicks especially near the handles. The vanity is big so I store a lot of things in it meaning it gets a lot of use. Would putting a water based top coat on help keep it from chipping? If so, how many coats? submitted by /u/Goldenthing to r/paint [link] [comments]

Remember this bathroom with the vanity I hated but you all (mostly) loved? Swipe for the after pics
It took longer than I thought it would to call this tiny powder room finished, but so happy with how it turned out! You’ll all be pleased to know we kept the vanity, and decided to keep the mirror too when we took it off the wall and saw it was from 1979—the same age as our house! The carpet on the other hand is obviously history (praise be), and the wallpaper too (which was hiding black mold, ew). Love the light fixture we found, and we replaced the faucet and cabinet hardware too. And we obviously had to add a funny piece of artwork behind the door! Thank you again to all the folks who said a dark bathroom would look amazing—you were right! Removed a half wall in our bathroom, but not sure how to finish the side of this vanity
Hi folks, long time lurker, first time poster. My wife and I recently redid our floors, and we figured we’d rip out this half wall in our master bathroom. I did keep the old trim before removing the wall, so I should be able to cut and reuse that material. Aside from that, I’m not sure what kind of wood to buy, how to match the stain to the existing material, or even where to begin with this exposed side. I’m a novice to any kind of carpentry/woodworking, so any tips on how I can finish the side of this vanity would be greatly appreciated! submitted by /u/pian0man16 to r/DIY [link] [comments]

Need a bathroom Vanity. Are Big Box vanities a high risk?
Hello. We need a new 60” double sink vanity for the bathroom. We have looked at Lowe’s and HD. Not impressed. We looked at Menards. They had some nice ones on display that seemed to be a “better” quality. We also found one at Floor and Decor. They don’t have it on display. But it looks nice. I can’t tell though if drawers are dove tail and all that. Are we better spending around 1600 on a custom cabinet and top? Or 1300 for the Floor and Decor one? The cabinets we would have “custom” are Wayside. So I assume mostly particle board and from China. submitted by /u/vinylandgames to r/HomeImprovement [link] [comments]

request: bathroom vanity
We are remodeling our bathroom and looking for a nice vanity. I have looked at the home depot and lowes but they are cheaply built. Does anyone have an online retailer that they know of that makes a high quality vanity that won't break my bank. I am looking for a double vanity about 80" wide. I am willing to spend upwards of $2k for the right vanity that is of good quality. Any advice would be appreciated. submitted by /u/DanoJB to r/BuyItForLife [link] [comments]
