BMW April 2026 Lease Deals — Every Model Ranked
Rates from BMW Financial Services Northeast, April 2026. Payments pre-tax, 36mo/12K miles, cap = MSRP − manufacturer Lease Credit only. Conditional programs (loyalty, conquest, college grad, military) not included. MSRPs from BMW FS April 2026 rate file. The 5 Series ICE holds at MF 0.0014 (3.36% APR) — unchanged from March — on the 530i, 530i xDrive, and 540i xDrive. The rent charge on a $60,500 530i Sedan is ~$132/month. MSRP adjustments from March bring payments slightly lower, but the rate itself is the same program. On the other end, the unsubsidized floor moved from 0.00215 to 0.00225 (5.40% APR) in April. Same models hit the wall — M cars, 4 Series, X2, X6, Z4, 2 Series Coupe — the gap just widened. BMW added $750 base Lease Credit to the 2 Series Coupes (not present in March), which partially offsets the MF increase. The math is nearly a wash. The 540i xDrive and 550e xDrive remain nearly tied — ~$928 vs ~$934, about $6/month apart — the same story as March. Everything else — i4, 3 Series, 7 Series, iX, i5, i7 — is largely unchanged or marginally better from lower MSRPs. Finding #1: BMW still runs a binary program — subsidized or 0.00225 The structure is identical to March. Every model gets either a subsidized rate or sits exactly at the floor. April's floor is 0.00225 instead of 0.00215. Subsidized side: 3 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3, X5, X7, i4, i5, iX, i7. The wall: every 2 Series Coupe (230i, M240i), 4 Series, X2, X6, Z4, and all M cars — 5.40% APR, $0 base Lease Credit except the 2 Series Coupes which now get $750. Model Best MF Best APR Lease Credit Verdict 5 Series ICE (530i/540i) 0.0014 3.36% $1,000 Solid ICE rate; unchanged from March i4 eDrive40 / xDrive40 0.00035 0.84% $3,750 Best overall rate in lineup 3 Series (330i) 0.00090 2.16% $1,000 Unchanged from March 2 Series Gran Coupe (228i) 0.00095 2.28% $0 Near-3-Series rate; no LC 5 Series 550e (PHEV) 0.00075 1.80% $2,000 ~$6/mo more than 540i iX M70 0.00045 1.08% $7,500 Best iX rate; base trims worse 7 Series (760i xDrive) 0.00055 1.32% $2,000 Unchanged i5 0.00060 1.44% $3,750 Unchanged i7 0.00100 2.40% $7,500 Unchanged iX xDrive45 / xDrive60 0.00080 / 0.00090 1.92% / 2.16% $7,500 Below M70 rate X1 / X3 0.00170 4.08% $1,000 Market rate for class X5 (40i/M60i) 0.00180 4.32% $3,000 LC tripled from March X5 xDrive50e (PHEV) 0.00155 3.72% $3,000 Best X5 rate X7 0.00135 3.24% $0 No LC, unchanged 8 Series 0.00210 5.04% $5,000 Credit-only deal 2 Series Coupe / 4 Series / X2 / X6 / Z4 / M cars 0.00225 5.40% $0–$750 Wall moved up from 0.00215 MF × 2400 = approximate APR. Conditional incentives (loyalty, conquest, etc.) are additional and vary by buyer eligibility. Finding #2: 5 Series ICE — MF 0.0014, rent charge is ~$132/month The rent charge on a 530i Sedan (cap $59,500 after $1,000 LC, residual $34,485) is ~$132/month. The math at 0.0014: 530i Sedan at $60,500: Lease Credit (cap cost reduction): −$1,000 Adjusted cap: $59,500 Residual (57% × $60,500): $34,485 Depreciation ($59,500 − $34,485) ÷ 36: $695/mo Rent charge ($59,500 + $34,485) × 0.0014: $132/mo Base payment: ~$827/mo The rate is the same as March. MSRP reductions across the 5 Series lineup nudge payments modestly lower — the 540i xDrive at $67,700 MSRP lands at ~$928/month, down from ~$940 in March primarily due to the lower sticker. Trim MSRP MF APR RV Lease Credit ~Monthly 530i Sedan $60,500 0.0014 3.36% 57% $1,000 ~$827 530i xDrive Sedan $62,800 0.0014 3.36% 57% $1,000 ~$859 540i xDrive Sedan $67,700 0.0014 3.36% 57% $1,000 ~$928 550e xDrive Sedan (PHEV) $75,500 0.00075 1.80% 57% $2,000 ~$934 Pre-tax, 36mo/12K. Finding #3: 540i xDrive vs 550e xDrive — still nearly tied In March: 540i at ~$940, 550e at ~$943 — $3/month apart. BMW FS's lower MF and extra LC on the PHEV absorbed the $7,700 MSRP gap almost perfectly. In April: 540i at ~$928, 550e at ~$934 — ~$6/month apart. Same story, slightly lower on both due to MSRP reductions. 540i xDrive: cap $66,700 (after $1,000 LC) 550e xDrive: cap $73,500 (after $2,000 LC) 540i rent charge ($66,700 + $38,589) × 0.0014: $147/mo 550e rent charge ($73,500 + $43,035) × 0.00075: $87/mo 550e depreciation premium (~$7,800 MSRP + $1,000 less LC): +$65/mo Net: 550e costs ~$6/mo more — essentially tied. The 550e's lower MF (1.80% APR) saves ~$60/month in rent versus the 540i. But the higher MSRP and lower LC add ~$65/month in depreciation. Those nearly cancel out — the 550e has held within a few dollars of the 540i since March. Choose on powertrain preference. Finding #4: i4 — best rate in the lineup, $120/month under the 530i The i4 eDrive40 at MF 0.00035 (0.84% APR) with $3,750 LC is the best-rate model in the April BMW program. The xDrive40 at ~$707/month runs $120/month less than the 530i at ~$827 — a meaningful gap for two cars in adjacent segments. The eDrive40 RV dropped one point from March (55% → 54%), which adds ~$16/month. The xDrive40 holds at 55%. The i4 M60 runs MF 0.00085 with the same $3,750 LC — at $70,700 MSRP it lands at ~$889/month, a $182/month premium over the xDrive40. i4 eDrive40 math: Lease Credit: −$3,750 Adjusted cap: $54,150 Residual (54% × $57,900): $31,266 Depreciation ($54,150 − $31,266) ÷ 36: $635/mo Rent charge ($54,150 + $31,266) × 0.00035: $30/mo Base payment: ~$666/mo Trim MSRP MF APR RV Lease Credit ~Monthly eDrive40 Gran Coupe $57,900 0.00035 0.84% 54% $3,750 ~$666 xDrive40 Gran Coupe $62,300 0.00035 0.84% 55% $3,750 ~$707 M60 Gran Coupe $70,700 0.00085 2.04% 54% $3,750 ~$889 Pre-tax, 36mo/12K. Finding #5: 3 Series vs 5 Series — $202/month separates them this month The 330i Sedan runs MF 0.00090 (2.16% APR) with $1,000 LC — unchanged from March. MSRP ticked down to $48,000 (from $49,350), which brings the payment to ~$625/month. The 530i at ~$827/month is $202/month more for a car that's $12,500 more expensive and two classes up. The 3 Series also carries a better rate (2.16% vs 3.36% APR). The value case this month is clearly with the 3 Series unless you need the larger sedan. Trim MSRP MF APR RV ~Monthly 330i Sedan $48,000 0.00090 2.16% 56% ~$625 330i xDrive Sedan $50,000 0.00090 2.16% 56% ~$653 M340i Sedan $62,300 0.00120 2.88% 56% ~$849 M340i xDrive Sedan $64,300 0.00120 2.88% 56% ~$877 Pre-tax, 36mo/12K, cap = MSRP − $1,000 Lease Credit. The M340i xDrive at ~$877 is $252/month over the 330i on a $16,300 wider sticker. Whether that's worth it depends on what you want — the rate structure doesn't penalize either direction. Finding #6: 4 Series wall tax is worse than March The 4 Series hits 0.00225 (5.40% APR) with $0 Lease Credit. The 3 Series runs 0.00090 (2.16% APR) with $1,000 LC. Same platform, completely different programs. 330i at $48,000: ~$625/month. 430i Coupe at $53,300: ~$879/month. That's $254/month for $5,300 more car. In March the gap was $249/month (330i at ~$644, 430i at ~$893). The gap widened because the 330i's MSRP came down and the wall rate worsened slightly. The M340i xDrive at ~$877 is a more capable car than the M440i xDrive Gran Coupe at ~$1,077. The M440i costs $200/month more for the lesser car, same reason — 2.88% APR vs 5.40% APR overwhelms the MSRP gap. Trim MSRP MF APR RV LC ~Monthly 330i Sedan $48,000 0.00090 2.16% 56% $1,000 ~$625 M340i xDrive Sedan $64,300 0.00120 2.88% 56% $1,000 ~$877 430i Gran Coupe $51,800 0.00225 5.40% 53% $0 ~$845 430i Coupe $53,300 0.00225 5.40% 53% $0 ~$879 430i xDrive Coupe $55,300 0.00225 5.40% 53% $0 ~$912 M440i xDrive Gran Coupe $64,800 0.00225 5.40% 53% $0 ~$1,077 M440i xDrive Coupe $67,050 0.00225 5.40% 53% $0 ~$1,112 430i Convertible $59,300 0.00225 5.40% 53% $0 ~$980 Pre-tax, 36mo/12K. Finding #7: X5 base LC tripled — 51% RV is still the structural problem The X5 headline in April is the Lease Credit: $1,000 → $3,000 across all X5 trims. That's ~$56/month less depreciation. On the rate side, the xDrive40i moved slightly worse (0.00165 → 0.00180), and the xDrive50e PHEV improved (0.00165 → 0.00155). Net effect: the 50e improved on both axes; the 40i got more LC but a worse rate; payments came down on the 40i relative to March despite the rate headwind because the LC delta is larger. The 51% residual on all X5 trims is unchanged and is still the core problem. On a $70,600 xDrive40i, you're depreciating 49% of a $70K SUV in 36 months — that's ~$34,600 before a dollar of rent. The X5 xDrive40i at ~$1,064 is $136/month more expensive than a 540i xDrive on roughly the same sticker. Trim MSRP MF APR RV LC ~Monthly X5 sDrive40i $68,300 0.00180 4.32% 51% $3,000 ~$1,027 X5 xDrive40i $70,600 0.00180 4.32% 51% $3,000 ~$1,064 X5 xDrive50e (PHEV) $76,000 0.00155 3.72% 51% $3,000 ~$1,124 X5 M60i xDrive $93,600 0.00180 4.32% 51% $3,000 ~$1,440 X7 xDrive40i $87,500 0.00135 3.24% 52% $0 ~$1,346 X7 M60i xDrive $115,000 0.00135 3.24% 52% $0 ~$1,769 Pre-tax, 36mo/12K. X5: cap = MSRP − $3,000 LC. X7: full MSRP cap, no LC. Finding #8: 2 Series Gran Coupe vs Coupe — $750 LC on Coupes doesn't fix the wall Same structure as March: Gran Coupe (228i, M235i xDrive) runs 0.00095 (2.28% APR), no LC. Coupe (230i, M240i) hits the wall — which moved from 0.00215 to 0.00225. BMW added $750 base LC to the Coupes in April. On an M240i xDrive ($55,600 MSRP), $750 saves ~$21/month in depreciation. The 0.00010 MF increase adds ~$8/month in rent. Net: ~$13/month improvement — not enough to change the picture. The Coupes remain poor lease value. M240i xDrive at ~$881/month vs M340i xDrive at ~$877/month — the less capable car in a smaller body costs $4/month more. The spread closed slightly from March ($917 vs $896 = $21 gap) because the Coupe's new $750 LC offset the worse rate. Trim MSRP MF APR RV LC ~Monthly 228i Gran Coupe ~$41,100 0.00095 2.28% 56% $0 ~$566 228i xDrive Gran Coupe ~$43,100 0.00095 2.28% 56% $0 ~$592 M235i xDrive Gran Coupe ~$51,000 0.00095 2.28% 56% $0 ~$701 230i Coupe $42,200 0.00225 5.40% 54% $750 ~$663 230i xDrive Coupe $44,200 0.00225 5.40% 54% $750 ~$696 M240i Coupe $53,600 0.00225 5.40% 54% $750 ~$848 M240i xDrive Coupe $55,600 0.00225 5.40% 54% $750 ~$881 Pre-tax, 36mo/12K. The 228i Gran Coupe at ~$566 is still the cheapest entry into a new BMW. The 330i at ~$625 is the better structure: $59/month more for a bigger car and $1,000 in Lease Credit the Gran Coupe doesn't get. 7 Series — Unchanged rates, slightly lower MSRPs MF 0.00070 (1.68% APR) on the 740i, $2,000 LC. MSRP down to $99,300 from ~$100,850 → payment is ~$1,373/month. The 760i xDrive holds MF 0.00055 (1.32% APR) with $2,000 LC; at $124,700 the rent charge is ~$103/month. BMW FS is still pricing the 7 like they want to move it. The 52% residual is unchanged and is the ceiling. You're depreciating ~$52K in value over 36 months on a $100K sedan before the rate subsidy matters. Trim MSRP MF APR RV LC ~Monthly 740i Sedan $99,300 0.00070 1.68% 52% $2,000 ~$1,373 740i xDrive Sedan $102,300 0.00070 1.68% 52% $2,000 ~$1,416 750e xDrive PHEV $110,000 0.00105 2.52% 52% $3,000 ~$1,556 760i xDrive Sedan $124,700 0.00055 1.32% 52% $2,000 ~$1,710 Pre-tax, 36mo/12K. 8 Series — Credit deal, not a rate deal MF 0.00210 (5.04% APR) — one tick below the 0.00225 wall — but $5,000 base Lease Credit on every body style. Without it the 840i Coupe at $90,000 would be ~$1,487/month; the credit drops it to ~$1,338 and saves ~$149/month. GKL Loyalty buyers can stack another $2,000 on top. The iX M70 at ~$1,351/month and the i7 eDrive50 at ~$1,354/month are within $3 of each other this month. Very different cars, same payment. The i7 has the deepest conditional stack in the lineup: $7,500 base + $4,000 loyalty + $2,000 conquest (alternatively), meaning an eligible loyalty buyer can get to $11,500 total cap reduction. At that level the eDrive50 drops from ~$1,354 to ~$1,242/month. The i5 is unchanged: MF 0.00060 (1.44% APR) with $3,750 LC, 52% RV. eDrive40 at $67,100 → ~$849/month. Conditional programs (loyalty/conquest/military/college) not included. Pre-pay note: all BMW models carry an optional single-pay MF reduction of −0.0005 — prepaying the entire lease upfront lowers the MF by 0.0005. Northeast region; programs vary by zip code. Data from BMW Financial Services Northeast rate sheets, April 2026. Deals expire April 30, 2026. TL;DR 5 Series ICE at MF 0.0014 — 3.36% APR, ~$132/month in rent on a 530i. Rate unchanged from March; MSRP reductions bring payments modestly lower. 530i at ~$827, 540i xDrive at ~$928. 540i xDrive and 550e xDrive are nearly tied — ~$6/month apart (~$928 vs ~$934). Same story as March. The 550e's lower MF saves ~$60/month in rent; the higher MSRP costs ~$65/month more in depreciation. Choose on powertrain, not payment math. i4 is the rate leader — xDrive40 at ~$707/month at 0.84% APR with $3,750 LC. Runs $120/month less than the 530i. Best rate in the lineup by a wide margin. 3 Series vs 5 Series: ~$202/month separates the 330i from the 530i despite a $12,500 sticker gap. The 3 Series also has the better rate (2.16% vs 3.36% APR). Value case is clearly with the 330i this month. 4 Series wall tax widened — 430i Coupe at ~$879 vs 330i at ~$625 = $254/month for a less capable car in a smaller body. The 4 Series is not a lease at any point the 3 is available. X5 base LC tripled ($1,000 → $3,000 on all X5 trims). 40i rate got slightly worse; 50e PHEV rate improved. The $3K credit is real money. The 51% residual is still the structural problem — payments sit $136/month above a 540i xDrive on similar MSRP. 2 Series Coupes got $750 LC (new in April) but the floor moved from 0.00215 to 0.00225. Net difference is small. M240i xDrive at ~$881 costs $4/month more than the M340i xDrive at ~$877 — a more capable car for less. M2 CS 42% residual — ~$1,932/month on a $100K car. M3 Sedan at ~$1,275 with 55% RV is the better driver's car and costs $657/month less. Wall moved to 0.00225 — all M cars, 4 Series, X2, X6, Z4, 2 Series Coupe. 5.40% APR is slightly worse than March's 5.16%. These models have not been supported by BMW FS in consecutive months. Run your numbers on quotedefender.com before going to the dealer — verify the published buy rate MF for your model. (Quick transparency note: I used an LLM to help format this post. Data is directly from BMW Financial Services Northeast rate sheets, April 2026. Argue the numbers if you want.) Edit (April 2026): Thanks to community members for verifying directly with dealer desk sheets. The actual buy rate MF for the 5 Series ICE is 0.00140, not 0.00014. It is still a subvented rate, but not the 10x drop originally reported. submitted by /u/Extreme-Temporary-85 to r/leasehacker [link] [comments]

BMW is obviously doing something right
This week I visited a local Mercedes dealer. There were several shoppers wandering about. Zero excitement on the floor. Then, today, I drove over to the Audi boutique dealership where I purchased a coupe a while back. It was pretty much like a museum at closing hour. No action at all. Dead quiet. Finally, I swung by the BMW dealer where I bought a car a year ago. You’d have thought the Stones were performing in there. Throngs! At least where I live, BMW’s sales gains are quite apparent. The excitement is palpable. submitted by /u/Practical_Note9366 to r/BMW [link] [comments]

BMW FS is still pricing the 7 like they want to move it. The 52% residual is unchanged and is the ceiling.

1st time BMW owner, what should I know?
Honestly this moment feels surreal as Ive been dreaming of owning an M340i for years, and I finally pulled the trigger on this beauty right here. Was originally planning on waiting till my birthday in early 2026 but I went to the dealership a couple days ago and they had an almost identical spec I wanted so I ended up spontaneously buying it on the spot (as one does, of course). Spec is new 2025 RWD in ARB with Cognac interior. This is a huge upgrade for me coming from over a decade old Honda Civic. I know this car is a whole different beast than anything Ive owned prior, and I want to be able to take the best care of it possible so I can drive this for as long as I can. What maintenance tips should I know owning a new M340? Outside of maintenance, any other advice for a 1st time BMW owner? submitted by /u/Final-Astronomer836 to r/BMW [link] [comments]
