Dupray Neat

Just wanting to share my experience with dupray. I moved into a new space and wanted to invest in some quality cleaning tools to stay on top of things. Splurged on the neat plus, which was completely DOA. No steam right out of the box. Spoke to their customer service who opened a ticket and then ghosted me.. so disappointed in this company. Hi everyone, I have a Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner (Model DUP020WNA) and recently received the new safety cap from the recall. After installing the replacement cap, it became completely stuck. I waited 3 days, the machine is cold, unplugged, and I released any possible pressure, but the cap still won’t open at all. Because of this I cannot refill the machine or use it anymore. Has anyone else experienced this with the new recall safety cap? Were you able to open it or did Dupray replace the unit? I bought a Dupray neat from auction, it's not one that needs to be recalled, but I clearly don't have the receipt now so I have no warranty I can see When I turn it on, the light goes green very quickly (I read it's supposed to take around 8 mins but this doesn't) It makes the humming noise when I press the button on the nozzle The box heats up a bit I can feel a bit of warmth at the beginning of the pipe, maybe up to about half the pipe length at times But nothing comes out I tried descaling it once, some stuff came out I did it again, didn't notice anything come out Any idea what the issue could be? submitted by /u/Blade123222 to r/CleaningTips [link] [comments]

I’m considering buying it to help ease cleaning a few different things that it purports to do well grout, hard flooring, light sweat stains on mattress and oven. Read a few reviews and it seems to work well, wondering if anyone has this and can attest to whether it actually works in real liefe situations on these items. The two priorities on that list would be cleaning white bathroom floor grout with coin tiles, ( I could smack the previous owner that did the reno); pink stuff worked really well a couple years ago with a drill, I resealed the grout with with constant daily use and walking its graying again in high traffic areas. Cleaning the oven, I hate this task with oven cleaner and would do it more regularly if this is a viable solution. I LOVED my karcher but it died. I like the compact size of the Dupray neat plus. Does it allow for compact storage? The karcher is bulkier but I can store all the pieces “on” it. Do I have to store the Dupray pieces separately ? I just purchased this model. Love the feature of continuous fill during use. But is it normal for water to be dripping out of the tool where it connects? I looked through manual and it didnt have any tips, tricks or notes in the I able shooting for that. I started cleaning the grout on my tile floors, but my brass brush has worn down. While looking for a replacement on Amazon, I noticed they also sell a heavier-duty stainless steel brush head. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can generate steam from the Dupray Neat? I’ve followed the directions and I’m using distilled water, but all I get is a high pressure stream of hot water that shoots out of the nozzle. Received my DuPray Neat+ today and attempted to use it's on bathroom tile grout with no pre-treatment. I used it for about 30 minutes on one side of my shower floor and I cannot tell a difference at all between the two. Is pre-treatment a must? I had back surgery so I'm not able to get down and wipe as I steam which I know is suggested but I did a a lot of research on it and that didn't seem to be a deal breaker. I am trying to not to be disappointed. As I did start with the hardest place in the house, I figured I would try something easier like baseboards and bathroom mirrors next.
