More parts removed from that bike. Im almost to the point where I'll be disconnecting the swingarm and removing the forks and both wheels. Interestingly, I decided on this path before seeing your post.
Bought a chair rack / hand truck thing that will hold the 8 chairs. Fits thru the doorway. Bought four 3/4" cast iron pipe stanchion mounts. The thinking is I will screw those to a plastic Harbor Freight furniture dolly I have, then do 3/4" Sch40 (80 if I can get it?) PVC in a big inverted U on either side to hold the tables. Say about 40" high for the 35" tables.

Stumbled upon this community today. Here’s my furniture dolly for the past 30 years.
Mullen checkerboard freestyle that had a lot of use in the 80’s. I showed one of my friend’s kids how to ride a few years ago and was hobbling for 2 weeks after so I officially retired. Can Bissel Rug Doctor fit on a utility dolly? What about a furniture dolly?
I live in an apartment that is entirely carpeted (medium pile, beige) except for in front of the stove, sink, and in the bathroom. I am also not the cleanest person but I did vacuum. The carpet is filthy though and I am trying to save money/my deposit on move out. My thought is to rent one of the Bissel Rug Doctors from my local Safeway and do the first pass myself before hiring pros to do the rest. The hope is that if I do a first pass then when the pros come in they will quote me less and or be able to do a more thorough job thus impressing my landlord. There are also a number of mystery stains that I have not (yet) been able to get gone with Folex and I suspect not every slightly dark spot is going to come out easily. The problem is I do not have a car. If I had to rent/borrow a car it would suddenly be very not wroth it to rent the rug doctor. The good thing is I live about a 5 minute walk from a Safeway. I am a strong person and it's clear the Bissel is a cumbersome size, not designed to be carried, and probably 40 lbs. If thats all correct I probably could carry it but wouldn't have a fun time doing so. Anywho. Crux of this question. Can I fit the Rug Doctor on a utility dolly/hand truck? Or perhaps a furniture dolly? submitted by /u/Entire_Bike9025 to r/CarpetCleaning [link] [comments]

Got tired of going to garage for tools, but another toolbox didn’t make sense. Here’s my $50 solution:
Four-wheel furniture dolly from Harbor Freight $18. Misc 1/2“ PVC and joints from Home Depot $25. Pegboards were just taken down from garage walls $0. Zip ties and small screws about $2. Replacement 10mm socket (since I was at the store anyhow and expect to lose another one shortly) $5. Version 2.0 will have lower center of gravity, as this turned out very unstable. Ever installed one of these NativeStone Tubs
Just brought one of these in. 900lb tub 3 guys, one hydraulic car jack, 2 furniture dolly with 2 motorcycle straps, and 3, 8' 2x4s with one end cut at an angle. Broke down the crate. Pulled it to one side of the pallet. Jacked up one side while 2 guys received it with 2x4 levers. The other guys then used a 2x4 after the jack maxed out. Layed it on its side on the pallet. Slid to the 2 furniture dollys. Strapped it down. Rolled it into place. If you are doing this, you got it. Go slow and think about it. submitted by /u/Seabass597 to r/Plumbing [link] [comments]

My Numbers Theory
I just finished the show and immediately started rewatching and I've come up with what I feel is a pretty solid theory as to what MDR is refining and what Lumon is up to, and I think it's told to us in the first 30 minutes of the show. Lumon is trying to create artificial life that is already severed. The Four Tempers and Color When Mark is sorting the numbers in the first episode, we see four colored bars for the four tempers. Woe is green, Frolic is yellow, Dread is red, and Malice is blue. We see these colors repeated everywhere throughout the show: the furniture, the department keycards, Helly's clothes, Petey's map, the lights during the music dance experience, the paper, but there's a couple places I think this is most significant. During Helena's operation, we see brain scans labeled "Trajectories" and the only colors present are green, yellow, red, and blue. And in the finale when Helena is talking to her father, he mentions the first prototype chip only had green and blue lights. I also feel the keycards are important, just not to this theory. The Numbers Let's start off by laying out what we know about the numbers. Lumon doesn't want people knowing what they are, they elicit certain feelings, they are categorized by these feelings which are represented by four colors (the same four colors displayed by a brain scan), they appear in clusters not just individually, they fluctuate in size, and they wiggle around. So what are these numbers? The way they move around reminds me a lot of brain activity and I think that's exactly what they are. MDR is looking at a digitization of brain activity and categorizing it into the four tempers. I believe the chip is involved in this process, scanning the brain activity of severed employees. This is backed up by the file names, which are all single words that could be used as last names. Lumon doesn't want employees knowing their last names, could this be because MDR would recognize them in the file names? The Baby Goats The baby goats are one of Lumon's early trials in creating/breeding artificial life, reminiscent of Dolly the sheep. When the man says they're not ready, he means they haven't perfected artificial life yet. And the reason he gets so defensive about taking them, it's because once they're ready the trial is over and he no longer has a job (life). The Lexington Letter I've been trying to figure out how The Lexington Letter fits into this theory and I think I might've come up with something. What if the severance chips have a self-destruct? One of the truck drivers could have had the severance procedure and that's whose brain Peggy was refining. As soon as she was done, there was no need for the driver to be alive and Lumon could take out their competition. The self-destruct could be one of the protocols in the security room, possibly Open House but we only saw A-O so there could be one later in the alphabet. It's also possible the truck explosion is a red herring and Lumon went after Peg just for sharing information. Jim Milchick asked a source at Lumon about it, so they knew Peg went to the news with her story. For a mysterious company trying to keep what they do top secret, it doesn't seem to out there to orchestrate an "accident" just to silence her. Final Thoughts Bringing everything together, Lumon is attempting to fully categorize the human mind into the four tempers so they can replicate it to create artificial life and breed employees. This explains why they have so much room for expansion with so few current employees; soon they won't have to rely on hiring people, they can just create an endless supply of perfect workers. I also think Ms. Casey may be an early experiment in this, though this is mostly conjecture. I think the car crash left her brain dead and Lumon replaced her mind with an early artificial intelligence. That's why she only talks in a soothing voice and only ever really does one thing; her artificial intelligence isn't fully fledged enough to emulate every aspect of human life. It also explains her sudden firing; it wasn't a replacement, it was an update. In episode 1, Mark S. puts it best. During her interview, Helly asks if she's livestock and Mark responds "You think we grew a full human, gave you consciousness...?" Edit: added a couple screenshots to show colors Edit 2: added my thoughts on The Lexington Letter submitted by /u/ybneyk to r/SeveranceAppleTVPlus [link] [comments]

Moving guy wanted paid for doing no moving.
Not 100% sure this is a CB situation. A few weeks ago I decided to hire 3 moving guys for a few hours to move as much as they could into a POD i rented. I mostly wanted them there to get a few large furniture items from upstairs down into the pod as it is just myself, 16 month of old son and pregnant wife. They were scheduled to show up at 10 a.m. and work two hours until noon, at which point i had a code i would give them and they would get paid for their work. Super easy, have used the service before. I took off and got a trailer for my Jeep incase there was any overflow and to take things we would need before the POD arrived. I get back to the house at 9:30 a.m., 30 minutes before they are set to arrive and they had been there for 15 minute already talking to my wife, this is how it went down the moment I walked in the door; Wife: These mover guys have been lecturing me for 15 minute on how they cant do their job correctly unless they have shrink wrap for the couch. Me: Well I got 4 packages of moving blankets and that should be more than enough to cover things in the POD. Head mover guy: We can't guarantee your things wont get scratched a little if we don't have shrink wrap. Me: Thats fine, I mostly hired you guys to get the heavy stuff in the POD and pack what you can in during the time you are here. HMG: Ok boss. (then he gives me this weird salute) He then tells his two guys, both young dudes there to just move stuff and get the job done, to move stuff downstairs as i had "hired them to move heavy stuff downstairs." I would say a solid 10 minutes go by before my wife come storming into the garage, where i was packing last minute items, visibly mad and at her ends wit. Wife: They said they wont move the gun safe until we open it and prove there are no guns in there (i had locked the key in an ammo box that was already packed). Me: Just tell them to leave it and I will do it later (It is not a high quality one and one person can move it with a dolly very easily, think drying machine) 2 seconds later the head moving guy comes storming out to the garage as well, visibly flustered and says he cant move anything more because of hostile working conditions. Apparently my wife said in passing that we hired two highschool kids one time and they moved all our stuff in a few hours and he thought that was the biggest affront to his abilities that she could have possibly done. HMG: I am going to need cash or check upfront to finish this job or i'm going to have to charge my two hour minimum and leave (conveniently the same amount as if they did the work) Me: Well I will pay you after you do your job, through the moving service as agreed upon. (Im assuming at this point he looks for any excuse to cut out the middleman and get paid directly, and does this often) HMG: At this point, after working in these conditions and lacking the proper supplies needed (shrink wrap) I can't complete this job and will need my two hour minimum. Me: (i can see the pod from where i'm standing, empty and they had been there 45 minutes) You guys haven't even loaded a single thing into the POD, you have been moving things from room to room and telling my pregnant wife she is hostile and unprofessional. HMG: I can see you are stressed, who wouldn't be moving, but we cant work with her in there and lacking the correct supplies. Me: Look man, you can finish the job I hired you to do and you will get paid at the end of the job, or you can get off my property and I will hire someone else. HMG: That is actually called Theft of service and the police will come out to arrest you if you don't pay my two hour minimum. Me: That's not how that works, and if you have your lawyers contact info i will be glad to let mine know he will have some work soon. HMG: Really bro? you would pay a lawyer over just paying me and my guys my minimum? If you dont we will have to call the police for theft of service (used this term like 80 times, assuming it works for him usually) Me: ok, you can get off my property and I am calling the police. I hoped that was the clue he needed that i wasn't going to give in to his scam, but he was sticking to his guns! Amazingly the sheriff's department showed up in record time, about 20 minutes and started talking to the guy. My wife insisted on talking to the officer since she had the most contact with the guy so she did first, then me. Shockingly, not doing a job you were hired to do then demanding money is not theft of service. The poor officer was out in front of our house talking to this guy for almost 2 hours, yelling at my neighbors about how cheap we are and demanding we pay his workers $100 since we held him up so long. after brining us weird contracts saying "I agree to pay $100 because I demanded the impossible" they finally left without a red cent. Funny thing is, if they had just done their job they would have been out of there an hour earlier with $200 in their pockets. We couldn't find any mover available on such short notice so i ended up moving everything myself. Took me all day and I was pretty much dead by the end of it, but that CB didn't get his money for nothing. I did learn not to hire the cheapest movers, more you spend the less crazy comes with it. Edit - TLDR; Moving guys show up 45 minutes early, say its impossible to move without shrinkwrap, move things from room to room and nothing into a POD, Stop working, demand money, get cops called, leave empty handed. Edit 2 Since this seems to be the running theme here are some clarifications: No, my wife is not a bitch and i don't just lick her boots. She is an incredibly kind person and soft spoke, but everyone has their breaking points. Moving + the movers finding every little thing possible to blow up about will get even the most saintly of us flustered. If one pregnant woman can make 3 grown men walk off a job and demand payment, I don't know what to tell you. The gun safe was empty, but they couldn't verify because i had locked it and packed the key. YES i should have kept it open but I didn't, they key acts as the opening handle. I told them I would move it myself and they agreed. I don't know what happened in the time frame of after the gunsafe questions and my wife mentioning we hired two high school kids last time. I don't think she said it in a snide way, but in passing comparing out last move since they were being difficult. That's when everyone charged into the garage like it was some principle and everyone was about to fight at the end of the pavement. That's all I got, stop calling my wife a bitch :) submitted by /u/romansixx to r/ChoosingBeggars [link] [comments]
