Protein Powder
I wanna start going to the gym, I’m not a huge fan of milk but I really need to start putting it in my diet. I heard that the GHOST whey cinnabon flavor masks the milk flavor a good bit and that it just tastes good in general. I was just wondering if it’s healthy enough for me to take? I don’t know much about what ingredients I shouldn’t be taking to go to the gym. +I have diabetes type 1 but I don’t think thats a problem if I take this protein powder. Are there other options that would be better instead? I don’t wanna be taking anything I shouldn’t be. I don’t like vanilla flavor nor do I like anything too sweet. submitted by /u/kawaiikitten37 to r/Protein [link] [comments]

Every "best protein powder" list is a paid ad. So I built one that isn't.
Every "best protein powder" list is just a ranking of who pays the highest affiliate commission. You already know this. So I built wheyin.com — user scores only, no sponsorships. Taste, gut feeling, mixability, value. Flavor-level granularity because Chocolate Smooth and Chocolate Brownie are not the same thing. It's early and I need reviews. If you've tried anything from MyProtein, ON, Ghost, Dymatize or 25+ other brands — I'd genuinely appreciate it. wheyin.com submitted by /u/Baranas96 to r/Supplements [link] [comments]

Clear Isolate Protein Powders
What is everyones thoughts on the clear isolate protein powders that have been coming out lately?? I have tried ghost and oath options only. I normally really enjoy ghost in general, but oath takes the win for me between the 2. For this, the ghost is just too sweet I think submitted by /u/Lucahe16 to r/Protein [link] [comments]

Protein flavor recommendations
I have one scoop left of this clear whey protein strawberry watermelon flavor and I LOVED it. I’ve been a big fan of ghost products recently and I want to try some more. GNC has their pro deals starting tomorrow and I want to buy 2 tubs on ghost protein but I want recommendations. I want to try a different flavor clear whey because I don’t want to get sick of this one, which one should I try? And then I’d like to get a non-clear flavor to switch it up here and there. I’ve been eyeballing the lucky charms and the chips ahoy but I want recommendations. I love how fun their flavors are and I want to try them all but I need to know what I should start with! submitted by /u/BigCompetitive5876 to r/ghostlifestyle [link] [comments]

Both volume and consistent sentiment are needed to rank. A protein powder with only 1 review that happens to be good (100% positive) won’t outrank one with 100 good reviews. Idea is to show what’s most discussed and consistently supported vs critiqued. Less about what is "best", and more about what's most tried and tested. Hopefully it a useful data point esp for folks who dk where to start. Ratio score: This is equivalent to the Wilson Score mentioned above It's basically the positive to negative ratio, adjusted to for sample size (but to a lesser extent than the final score calculation) What's best depends on your use case: Different people have different needs, so I’ve also segmented the mentions by relevance to use cases to make it more meaningful. Use case Example comment Natural taste & texture If you want legit milkshake vibes, I keep going back to Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Double Rich Chocolate. Mixes super smooth in a shaker and doesn’t have that fake aftertaste. u/Pallatino - What’s the best tasting chocolate protein powder - recommendations? Strict calorie deficits honestly protein shakes at that calorie level are tough because you're basically asking for all protein and nothing else. your best bets are going to be isolate-based powders like Isopure Zero Carb or Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Isolate, which can get you 25g protein in like 110-120 calories. the trade-off is they're usually pretty thin and less creamy than concentrate-based shakes, but they mix fine with water or unsweetened almond milk. u/dx30 - Protein shakes of 25+g Protein & less than 130 calories? Sensitive stomachs ON was best in that regard but I tried Kirkland and Levels AFTER I started GLP-1s and general gastrointestinal discomfort is a common side effect so it clouds everything a bit. I haven’t had any ON while on GLP-1s. u/bstark97 - What’s your favorite protein powder from Costco and why? Additional notes: Mentions are deduplicated - each person is only counted once, no matter how many repeat raves Non specific mentions get divided between product lines - e.g. “I love Orgain’s protein powder” is split between all possible Orgain protein powder lines (e.g. vegan, organic, superfoods variants etc) I used LLMs to help analyze the large volume of data - it wouldn't have been possible to do so manually. It’s not 100% accurate though and I had to do some manual reconciliation Thoughts? Anything that seems surprising or off? submitted by /u/heyyyjoo to r/workout [link] [comments]

Need protein powders (I didn’t like PEScience)
Hey guys, For some reason I I don’t like some of the “goated” mainstream protein powders. I was so addicted I would just us water + ryse protein powder and that would be enough, however addictions slowly fade away and you start cravings some luxurious tasting stuff. What I love but now kind of bored of: Ryse protein (Chocolate cookie blast, Peanut Butter cup, Cosmic Brownie), I have eaten 6 pints per day of these for about a year. Served me well Ghost whey (Slowly hated the chip’s ahoy, noticed it wasn’t rly my cup of tea, I loved the Coffee Ice cream) Muscle Sport Lean Whey (overall I did not mind the flavors, I can finish a tub even tho it wasn’t my favorite flavor) PandaSupps (I like their formulations but need to find the perfect flavor, ordered some more) What I tried and rly tried to love but couldn’t: PEScience, I tried so many times and so many flavors, they just never hit home for me. (chocolate truffle, CnC was very cream heavy) 1up, their protein powders were rly cream flavor heavy Axe and Sledge (C&C, Chocolate macadamia) Legion (Salted caramel, dutch chocolate) Transparent labs (used to love their dark chocolate but flavor was too mild after a while) Myprotein (Several chocolate flavor, salted caramel) Jocko Molk (chocolate, didn’t mind it but didn’t topple ryse, wasn’t worth it for me) Applied Nutrition (Choco Beuno, White choco Beuno) Isopure (chocolate) Mre Lite (Chocolate, Fudge Brownie) Clean Simple Eats (brownie batter) Dymatize (Cocoa Pebbles, flavor weren’t rly strong for me) Ekkovision (Tiramisu, Brownie batter) Fairlile milk + vanilla extract was abysmal IMO Orgain (tasted rly weird, maybe its the plant-based formulation) Optimum Nutiriton (l was hesitant to put this, last time I used it was 2022/23, at the time it wasn’t rly good, but they could have improved so. I tried their chocolate/vanilla, milk was okay but with water, I didn’t like it) Btw: this has been a very expensive trial and error but worth it. Final notes: It sounds like I am a pain to recommend to, hopefully someone as messed up as me can be helped. As you notice I am chocolate heavy advocate, Idm a vanilla here and there if it’s amazing, lean whey and panda supps vanilla are great. Flavors I despise, (or maybe haven't tasted good one): I don’t like mint (non-negotiable) pure peanut butter flavored fruity/cream heavy flavors as you see. For example strawberry shortcake by ryse was more cake/cream than pure strawberry. Possible flavor/goals: I guess the best case scenario for me would be a great vanilla which I think I have, but have never found a good salted caramel (awaiting my panda supps order) Also Biscoff (cookie butter) But as you see I like chocolate, chocolate hazelnut, Ferraro Roche/Nutella vibes I get tempted to re-order most protein I don’t like from the sheer positive reviews they get. Attempts: I have tried normal cacao, very expensive dutch powders, black cacaos and expensive vanilla bean extracts. They all just try and mask the protein flavor and are dominant, I don’t like the intense dry pure cacao flavor For example when I use a 1Tbsp of Dutch chocolate it overrides any flavor and I just taste that powder, it doesn't seem to blend, just overpower. If i use too little, I can't even sense it's there. I like rich/luxurious gelato/Haagen-Dazs/Lindt vibes. Sorry for the long post. I hope I am not being annoying and hope someone can help me out 😭. Edit: I don’t mind other solutions as well, anything that would work and is not a calorie bomb. I am trying to replicate PinkBerry’s Chocolate Hazelnut rn, I hate normal yogurt and love Greek. I know Pinkberry uses yogurt but their chocolate hazelnut is heavenly. submitted by /u/Aggressive-Elk8139 to r/ninjacreami [link] [comments]

I scraped Reddit to find the most recommended vegan protein powders
I pulled comments from over 60+ threads about vegan protein powder, best plant-based proteins, etc. Then I ran sentiment analysis using LLMs to find which brands got the most praise and which faced criticism (see more info on the process at the bottom). Quick note: "highest rated on Reddit" doesn't mean "perfect for you." Consider your fitness goals, dietary restrictions, taste preferences, and budget. Always check ingredients if you have allergies or sensitivities. Here's how I created this list: Scraped 60+ vegan protein powder threads from fitness and vegan subreddits. Many had hundreds of comments. Ran the comments through LLMs (GPT-5 + Gemini 2.5) to identify brand mentions and analyze sentiment. Scoring is based on a system: 70% for positive versus negative mentions, 30% for the positive-to-total mention ratio, and a few other metrics that are too long/boring to mention here. Cleaned up brand variations manually (e.g., "Naked Nutrition" → "Naked Pea"). This method prevents brands with high engagement but mixed reviews from ranking too high. They won't climb the ranks just because people are talking about them a lot. You can find the complete breakdown of data and updated list : https://www.redrecs.com/best-vegan-protein-powder I'd love your feedback on this! submitted by /u/LoneKnight25 to r/veganfitness [link] [comments]

Which protein powders do you like that don't break the bank?
I've been drinking protein shakes for a roughly 4 years, and a lot more brands became available locally recently. Most of the brands/flavours I want to try are insanely expensive though, like Ghost's Oreo flavour which they don't seem to sell in SG. Interested to hear what other Singaporeans are drinking! Since most protein powders ship from the US, they come out to be really expensive. I'm thinking of trying Ryse's Skippy Peanut Butter or Dymatize's Cocoa Pebbles next! If anyone is interested, in terms of strictly taste, I'd rank the ones I've tried the following. Myprotein (Clear Whey) Raw Nutrition's Cbum Itholate PEScience Optimum nutrition (Double Rich Chocolate) Myprotein (Normal Whey) submitted by /u/More_Society_9106 to r/askSingapore [link] [comments]

Vegan Protein Powder Reccomendations
I've been looking for a new protein powder for me and my vegan partner. Searched the reddit, went thru several posts and made a list of just about everything mentioned. Tried to stick to comments that mentioned they tried it previously but some comments were just the brand. TOP 5 MENTIONED Orgain*-33 True Nutrition-26 Sunwarrior-23 Naked Nutrition-18 Huel-16 *owned by Nestle ** complaint was filed about finding forever chemicals/pfas when tested, seems case was dismissed earlier this year Obviously not a perfect list, some could be duplicate brands but variations on name. Thanks to everyone for your comments & Enjoy! submitted by /u/confusedeclectic to r/veganfitness [link] [comments]

What’s the worst protein powder that you have ever tried?
In my personal opinion the whey ghost Cinnabon was absolutely disgusting when I tried it and that’s saying something from protein powder standards submitted by /u/T01RZ to r/Protein [link] [comments]

Ghost Whey Protein Powder – My Honest Take
Ghost Whey Protein Powder – My Honest Take Each scoop gives you 25g of whey protein. What really got me to try this was the two flavors Chips Ahoy and Nutter Butter. After trying the Chips Ahoy! and Nutter Butter flavors I came away super impressed, the nostalgia hit HARD. It’s like drinking a cookie milkshake. I wasn’t expecting actual cookie bits in the powder, but they’re there, and they make it so much more fun not knowing which sip you’ll end up getting. My favorite of the two was the Nutter Butter because I am more of a peanut butter guy but the Chips Ahoy taste was spot on. The texture is great too. I just mixed it with milk and a spoon, no blender needed, and it came out super smooth with no clumps. I grabbed mine from SameDaySupplements. Yeah, it’s a little pricier than some other blends, but considering the flavor and how well it digests, I think it’s definitely worth it. Plus, it’s cheaper than some of the isolate-only proteins out there. Finding a Whey protein that both tastes good and digests well has been something I’ve been looking for on the market for a while now and I think I found my staple to add to my diet. Despite coming in with a little skepticism, I really enjoyed it—no bloat, no chalkiness, and it lowkey feels like a treat. Perfect for getting that childhood cookie fix without the guilt. Give it a shot! https://www.samedaysupplements.com/ghost-whey-protein-powder.html https://preview.redd.it/5pxtxidx7oaf1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=945b76c24febf889f0d4143a720b247103e5228e submitted by /u/Designer_Willow4803 to r/ghostlifestyle [link] [comments]

What’s the best-tasting vanilla protein powder in your opinion?
Hey everyone! I’ve tried quite a few popular vanilla protein powders, but I still haven’t found one that really hits the mark. I’d love to hear your favorites—especially if you’ve found one that actually tastes like real vanilla and isn’t overly sweet or artificial. Here’s what I’ve tried so far, along with my thoughts: Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Vanilla Ice Cream – Not a fan. Tastes kind of slimy and gross to me. Dymatize ISO100 Gourmet Vanilla – Doesn’t really taste like vanilla, more like sweet cream. PEScience Cake Pop / Frosted Sugar Cookie – Too sweet and a bit powdery. I don’t get a clean vanilla flavor (which is expected I guess). Magnum Quattro Vanilla Ice Cream – Probably my favorite so far! Just wish it were a bit sweeter. Ghost Marshmallow Cereal Milk – It’s okay, but not my favorite. ALLMAX Isoflex Vanilla – Didn’t like it at all. *Fairlife Vanilla Shake – Not a powder, but honestly tastes amazing. Just way too expensive in Canada submitted by /u/-selenium- to r/ninjacreami [link] [comments]

What usually men do in their 20's.
My guy friends keep talking about how your 20s are for “figuring things out,” but from the outside, it kinda just looks like a chaotic mix of gym phases, getting ghosted, trying to cook one healthy meal and giving up after two days, and spending way too much money on sneakers. I’ve seen dudes blow an entire paycheck on a gaming setup and then complain about not being able to afford rent. They’ll argue about protein powder brands like it’s life or death, but won’t go to the doctor even if they’re literally limping. Dating-wise, some act like they want a relationship, but then panic if someone texts back too fast. I’ve also noticed a weird obsession with being “emotionally unavailable,” like it's a badge of honor. One guy told me he doesn’t do relationships because he’s “still building,” but he meant building a fantasy football league. I'm not judging, just genuinely curious if this is a universal thing or just the guys I’ve been around. What do y’all think guys actually do in their 20s? submitted by /u/SweeetJaasmine to r/self [link] [comments]

PSA: Ghost sells protein sample packs
They’re like 2.50 apiece which sure isn’t cheap but their tubs are like $50! This is a good way to try the flavors before committing. I’ll be making ice cream with these throughout the week so I’ll add how they all turn out in the comments if anyone’s interested! submitted by /u/ConsequenceOk5740 to r/ninjacreami [link] [comments]

Is Ghost Protein Powder Healthy?
Hey, I am in the market to start taking protein powder and I wanted some advice from you guys. Overall, I want to make sure that I am maximizing the benefits I get from going to the gym. I want something that tastes good so that I can enjoy it during consistent use, but I am also somewhat conscious about my health too. Now, let me preface and say that I am not an incredibly healthy eater anyway. In general, I think I care more than the average person it seems now, but I love an occasional greasy potato chip, ice cream, processed meat, and more so I do not avoid it completely. That said, I got a few samples of Ghost Whey Protein and it tastes great. I love the Nutter Butter flavor and the Chips Ahoy flavor. But if this is something I am going to eat consistently for an extended time, I want to make sure that it's at least a somewhat good choice for the flavor benefits. Here are the ingredients for the Nutter Butter flavor: https://preview.redd.it/bfy1z7jcupbc1.png?width=598&format=png&auto=webp&s=27de482d95cbb08e9662d83b2ad2b38967fddcd9 Now obviously, this doesn't look great from a first glance. But, my only observation is that these bad ingredients all seem to come from the Nutter Butter Cookie chunks in the drink. Now I do not know exactly how much is in there, but it seems that I would need at LEAST 10 servings maybe to get a full nutter butter cookie out of there. Given that, should I be so paranoid to avoid this protein which I know tastes really good? I want to be healthy, but like I let myself live a little. Does anyone have a deeper insight into the health of Ghost Protein and how their base ingredients stack up compared to other major brands out there? submitted by /u/1iamboyle to r/ghostlifestyle [link] [comments]

Protein Powder- best tasting?
I’m looking for a new protein powder and would like opinions on which ones have the best flavor. They aren’t cheap, so I’d rather not have to shell out a lot of money to get a 5 pound tub of suck. Anyone got any recommendations? So far I have been just getting whatever Costco has, and I bought a tub of Ghost Nutter Butter, but while it tastes okay, it isn’t that strong. Also, it’s for Creami recipes, if that moves the needle any. submitted by /u/PreetHarHarah to r/Volumeeating [link] [comments]

in search of an aggressively aesthetic protein powder
Hello my yoked pals - I'm a pasty lifelong vegetarian who has been told by every adult I've ever met that I don't get enough protein. High school coaches, college coaches, doctors, lawyers, grandmas on the bus: you name it - they all say I gotta get more of those tasty grams. Now, at age 25, I thought I might heed their call, lest my muscles slowly start to deflate. So here's my question: do you consume a protein powder that makes you look like you just went on The Bachelor to become an influencer? I think the only way I can trick myself into eating more protein is if I drink an aggressively aesthetic protein powder and concoct an elaborate fantasy world where I'm shilling it on instagram. Thank you for your time and consideration. submitted by /u/tolstoyhatedtrains to r/xxfitness [link] [comments]
