Here’s an updated, hand painted prototype of the new Raven. It looks pretty good but gotta remember mass production doesn’t look as detailed as hand painted. I like that he’s sticking to an actual era with Raven. The Flock shirt and green knee pads is a nice touch. Only gripe is the shorts need to be a bit darker.

I'm a new goalie, stepped down from player after my high school hockey season because I kept getting injured. I've always used player knee pads, and whenever I put on goalie knee pads they just feel super uncomfortable. I'm not planning to do anything serious though, just beer league games and pickup when I'm ready. New snowboarder with the goal of being Advanced Beginner/Intermediate. (aka the general population). What knee pad should I best use. I am in my late 30s. I did some search. The most popular knee pad I see are either the Mizuno Volleyball Kneepad or a D3O/G Form Kneepad. I tried a decathlon knee pad (big clunky roller skate.) It was too large restricting movement. Will Mizuno do the job already? Or spend some money for a G-Form (I am worried these dont activate). PS: I already have G-Form Butt pad. I scored and got these free from Don Korth in SLC. He has a foundation to hook up kids with gear. If anyone is in SLC - give him you kids gear as they grow out of . Anyway - how do I keep them up. In a 3 goalie drop in rotation while on the bench I find that they shift down. How do I utilize that tab with holes to tie them up to stay up. I currently wear compression shock doc pants, then put these on, then put knitted socks over and Velcro to the shock docs. I really dislike wearing them when I'm doing choreo. I think they look clunky and cut off the natural line of the leg. I have pretty basic black ones, which might be part of the problem. I do know it's important I wear them to keep my knees healthy, so with that in mind, any knee pad suggestions for a gal who hates them? Something discreet and simple?
