What kind of leather to DIY mouse grip tape and keyboard palm pad?
I'm looking into trying to DIY some grip tape for my mouse and some palm support pads for my keyboard. The current grip tape I use for my mouse is this one. It's 0.5mm thin, and basically I just want it to be as thin as possible and as grippy as possible. These palm pads come with the keyboard I use, but they're not super durable and eventually the fabric comes apart and the foam flattens. Given that it's 1/4", I'm thinking just straight leather as long as it has some give might be okay. I don't know how easy it is for me to get my hands on quality foam like poron or something like that, but that might work too. I don't think grip really matter here as long as it's not slick. Advice as to the type of leather and where to source things from would be great. I'm willing to shell out for the nicest stuff. I'm somewhat infatuated with undyed leather goods right now, but that's not a hard requirement. submitted by /u/ttttcrn to r/Leathercraft [link] [comments]

Valorant player on Vaxee NP-01S Ergo — which pad?
Hi, Playing Valorant, mainly entry with Reyna / Waylay / Jett. 0.29 sens @ 1600 DPI. Currently using the Vaxee NP-01S Ergo on a worn out Zowie G-SR-SE Blue. Coming from a G502 X Plus so my sens might be inflated due to the heavy mouse + worn pad combo — will probably lower it once I switch. Looking for a replacement pad — what would you go with? Looking for new mouse pad coming from a lgg saturn
So I have been using the regular lgg saturn for over a year and more now. I decided it was time to wash it so I pulled out my old x-ray pad aqua control 2 and my god I perform so much better on that pad. I mostly ay shooters. Apex, PUBG, battlefield. After using the aqua control 2 for 2 days I need to know if there are newer pads that have similar speed to that. I've realized the muddy feeling of the Saturn isn't for me now. I main vaxee mice now and I think that the speed pads help offset the weight of those mice. I also plan on getting the npo1s ergo so I'm not moving from vaxee for a while. So again is there any updated or different brand speed pads that are softer than the aqua control. Or even balanced pads. I'm also looking for xxl long versions. submitted by /u/Relevant_Summer_11 to r/MousepadReview [link] [comments]

Split ergo keyboard with 10-key pad
I type a lot (emergency dispatch, 12 hour shifts, around 135 wpm typing speed) and already use a split keyboard (Microsoft K4000) but I am looking for an upgrade... something backlit, with mechanical keys, ideally something that physically splits in two, with a 10-key pad, or the option for one... and I know a lot of people don't see the reason for a 10-key pad but I find it SIGNIFICANTLY faster to type numbers (dates of birth, vehicle plates, etc) with the number pad, instead of the line of numbers on the top of the keyboard... and speed/efficiency is a VERY important factor in all of this given the nature of my job. Either wired or wireless is fine. Ideally a universal keyboard that does not require special software to run, since I cannot install custom software on my work computer. I am also limited to two USB ports, which I know is ridiculous but our I.T. people have their reasons for being so restrictive, I suppose... but it sure complicates things when I need to have a keyboard, mouse and 10-key pad, all working off those 2 USB ports, somehow... Cost is not a factor as I have a health spending account that recently changed to allow purchases of this sort of ergo equipment, and I have a $900 budget, which I'm sure is WAY more than enough. I have slightly larger hands so nothing that is designed for laptops or that would be hard to use for my meaty digits (for example, I find the MS Sculpt keyboard to be a bit on the small side and a bit uncomfortable). Lastly it would have to be available for purchase from Canada. Over the years I have looked into the Kinesis brand of split ergo keyboards, which all look fantastic, but are all missing that 10-key pad... same with the MoErgo, Keychron and ZSA keyboards, but have struggled finding any other options. I was very excited for the ZSA keyboard options, given they are a Canadian company, and they include a track ball attachment with some of their models which could help me with my USB limitations and facilitating a separate 10-key pad... so any users of ZSA keyboards; I would love to hear your reviews/thoughts! And for everyone else, do you have any suggestions for this unicorn I'm seeking? submitted by /u/Wreckoplex to r/keyboards [link] [comments]

Graphic designer by day, gamer by night: here's my setup
I'm sharing an overview of my office, where I spend most of my days. I'm a freelance graphic designer, so I work there a lot... and I also play games there quite a bit when I have a moment. The latest addition to my setup is a new chair. I used to have an IKEA JÄRVFJÄLLET, which I liked, but it wasn't ideal for sitting for long periods of time. I took advantage of a promotion to get an Autonomous ErgoChair Pro, and honestly, I can feel the difference: everything is adjustable, which helps a lot with my back problems, and I'm less "broken" at the end of the day. The armrests are a nice surprise too. I never used them before, but now they fit in well and are really practical. I don't use them much for work (I'm often leaning towards my graphics tablet), but for playing on the console, they're perfect: a more relaxed position, the controller on my lap, the screen slightly tilted... and I can stay at my desk without any problems, even after a long day. As for the rest of the setup: lots of green plants, Mac Mini M4, LG 32UD89-W monitor, XP-Pen Deco Pro tablet, iPad Air, Logitech keyboard/mouse, Switch OLED, Xbox Series X, Analogue Pocket... and for sound, a small Bose speaker and Sony headphones for music. I try to keep the space simple and pleasant. Nothing spectacular, but a corner where I feel comfortable, whether I'm working or starting a gaming session. submitted by /u/Mathieu_Br to r/desksetup [link] [comments]

Mouse pad for sim rig anti-vibration?
My rig is complete and everything is just the way I like it, except for the mouse pad. I'm still using an old stool standing on the floor beside it. I realized I can't attach a mouse pad shelf to the rig, as the vibrations from the bass shakers or shifters would constantly wake up the mouse. I can't turn it off as I need it to make adjustments on-screen sometimes. Any ideas for a slick mouse shelf with some way to avoid vibrations? submitted by /u/grole00 to r/simracing [link] [comments]

Vaxee Np-01s ergo skate for glass pad
Just wondering which dot skates will work on the np-01s ergo? I've heard people having issues previously with obsidian air pro..etc not tracking with vaxee on glass pad but not sure if the problem has been fixed for the newer releases. I did a bit of re-search and realised there are silver fox dots made for np-01s ergo on the vaxee site but they are 0.84mm thick instead of 0.7mm thick as listed on my local retailer so not sure if anyone knows if they are special made for the mouse? submitted by /u/masterraceG9 to r/MouseReview [link] [comments]

Passion, Patience, and Power: No-Compromise PC Build
Hey Fellows, meet my PC! It’s tuned for content creation, gaming, and just pure joy. About Me I’m a curious guy who happens to be the son of a system integrator from the 90s. That meant tech especially computers was always around me growing up. My dad eventually moved on from the tech industry in the early 2000s, but my itch for learning never left. During my undergrad, I got hooked on content creation, especially Adobe tools. I freelanced with startups, streamlined creative workflows, and eventually pursued my postgrad at the same B-school. Over time, I worked on many systems i9s, Ryzens with 2060s and 3060s but I never owned a true high end machine. My personal laptop? An HP Omen 15 with a Ryzen 5 and 1660Ti. It did the job, and I didn’t need more I always had access to good office systems. Then came COVID. I was in my final year of PG, working from home and remoting into machines to finish projects. That same year, I joined a leading BFSI company something completely opposite of my creative background. But the decision was made. Still, I never stopped freelancing, learning, and saving. Slowly, piece by piece, the vision of building my own performance machine started taking shape. The Build Journey My first purchase was back in October 2024. I initially planned to buy from Ankit Infotech, Bangalore we’ve bought ~10 systems from him over the years. But living in Vijayawada, that was a stretch. So I scouted Hyderabad vendors and shortlisted three: · Vishal Compu tech · Swetha Computers · The MVP (Dart Frog) I was initially considering an Ultra 7 + RTX 4080 Super build. MVP was the most expensive quote, but they told me the RTX 5080 would be available at launch and their team felt the most technically confident. So I decided to wait. First for the 50-series GPU, then for the Ryzen 9950X3D, and finally for the pricing to stabilize. In May 2025, all three vendors quoted between ₹3.5L to ₹3.8L. I could’ve gone with the cheaper option but since this was for personal home use, I had no donor parts or backup. If anything went wrong, I’d be stuck. So I chose MVP for peace of mind. They delivered big time: · Built and stress-tested the machine in under 30 hours · Excellent cabling and thermals · I picked it up personally from Hyderabad and brought it home Use Case: Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects Gaming: 1440p competitive FPS (max FPS) + 4K simulation games Content Creation: Freelance Future Ready: AI tools, 3D rendering tests (Blender), VR capable Lessons Learned Don’t rush it if you’re building for yourself, take your time and research everything. Vendor quality matters more than just price, especially if you don’t have spares for troubleshooting. Local vendors with in-person support still beat some online-only players when it comes to RMA and stress-testing. RGB is fun but airflow > lights any day. Tips for Indian Builders Use offline vendors for custom quotes especially in places like Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore. Don’t be afraid to negotiate Watch out for unbalanced PSU/GPU pairings (get ATX 3.0 with high-end 50-series GPUs). Gen 5 SSDs are cool, but Gen 4 is enough. Get a UPS! Our voltage conditions aren't always stable and this kind of rig needs it. Looking for a small, lightweight, wireless ergo mouse
I've been a lifelong ergo mouse user of the G502/703/Basilisk shape and their predecessors back to the days of mechanical mice 30 years ago. I can't stand ambidextrous designs. That said, I've recently dug out my cheap noname ET/VicTsing D09 mobile mouse I've had as a travel backup and I absolutely love that shape and size for FPS gaming (CS2 at 1000eDPI). The small form factor gives me a lot of control as my thumb and pinky can glide on the pad and give me assitional feedback. It's shape, despite being a tiny mouse fits my palm grip perfectly. For me the hump and general layout feels like a mini version of the G502/Basilisk V3 shape minus the thumb rest. But it's a cheap mouse that's kinda heavy at ~97g with it's AA battery. I want to join the "superlight" crowd and experience what the fuzz is about but I can't for my life find something that fits my specs: ergo shape (palm grip) ~60-ish grams or under 1k polling rate at least 6400dpi (that's what I'm used to in Windows) about ~10cm length, 7cm width The closest I've found is the upcoming Basilisk Mobile, but it seems to be a heavy boy at ~80g and has a thumb rest. I'll get the Basilisk Mobile either way for productivity stuff though as it has the free spinning wheel that ultimately drove me to the G502 and Basilisk V3 and I absolutely love the shape for everyday stuff. For reference mice that I like/dislike: Like: - Logitech G502/MX5xx - Basilisk V3 - VicTsing D09 Neutral-ish: - Razer Cobra Dislike: - Microsoft Explorer - Logitech Superlight - Razer DeathAdder wired/pro (I haven't tried the Hyperspeed which is afaik smaller) - Glorious Model D I was at a local store which had a bunch of Razer, Logitech, Turtle Beach and ISY mice - but none of what was displayed was what I'm looking for. Maybe someone here can recommend me some models that fit my requirements. Price isn't an issue, ordering from AliExpress is okay too. I appreciate any hints or ideas anyone can give me! submitted by /u/steiNetti to r/MouseReview [link] [comments]

Can someone recommend me a good mouse and pad for valorant?
Hello, I am currently using heavy wired mouse at the moment with old mouse pad. I want to change both since my sens is very low. I don't want to spend too much money on them. I am sure some mouse brands which are cheaper than logitech and razer does the same job. I need you experts help please. Thank you submitted by /u/noneed233 to r/MouseReview [link] [comments]

Mouse ergo M575 died
My mouse died all of sudden out of nowhere! One second working the next dead. First the scrolling with scroll wheel went out. After 10min the track ball stopped working. The small two buttons don't work. The two big pad buttons works though! What can be the issue? I clean the sensor and ball once a month so its not that. Is it a planned obsolescence thing? I have had it since summer 2022, its not that old but maybe 2 years is old for Logitech? Thankfully I had one all new as backup in its package. It works. So its for sure my old mouse just died:/ submitted by /u/bluetimotej to r/logitech [link] [comments]

Good ergo mouse for everyday use, some productivity and light gaming?
Hi guys, I'm new here and looking for mouse recommendations as per title. I was initially eyeballing the MX Master and G502X Lightspeed but the latter looks kinda tacky and I don't think I need that many buttons. MX Master looks great and would be ideal but the polling rate is bad and it's on the heavier side. All I need is good build quality, 1000hz, two main buttons,, a good scroll whell and two side buttons. Anywhere 3s would fit the bill but it's also 125hz so maybe the Pro Click Mini or Deathadder V3 Lightspeed? I don't suppose I'll be gaming much as I'm usually on pad but I might play some Returnal, Doom Eternal, RE4 and the like. And some first person games, nothing competitive. The polling might not be such a big deal in my use case but considering there's like a 10$ difference between the MX Anywhere and the Deathadder where I live would it be reasonable to go for the latter just to not have substandard polling and be set if I feel like gaming? Pro Click Mini is my fav in terms of looks and has better polling rate than the Anywhere. This is going to be paired with a Air 96 v2. Any recommendations or am I on the right track? submitted by /u/ShizukuPL to r/MouseReview [link] [comments]

I don't hear much buzz about the Vaxee E1 Wireless but it's probably the best ergo mouse I've used in a long time
The shape is very close to the ec2 with slight changes that I find makes it better and more comfortable, you can check elo shapes to see those slight changes. It has one of the best build qualities of any mice I've used, with no creaking, no flexing, no button sideplay or wobble. I believe it uses black shell blue dot huano switches and the clicks feel light, crispy, and very spammable. Overall just very satisfying to click with. Scroll wheel feels nice too. Weight is 60 grams but weight distribution is very good and feels lighter than my OP1we which is the same weight. Uses the 3950 sensor which is supposedly the best sensor you can get and I haven't had any spin outs on my glass pad. Tracking feels super nice and easy but I'd attribute this more to the shape than the sensor as all modern sensors are essentially flawless. Overall I feel like this mouse deserves more praise and of all the Vaxee mice I've tried (XE wireless, outset AX wireless, np10s wireless), this one is the highest quality and reminds me of how I use to feel when buying a zowie mouse back in 2016. You just feel confident knowing it's the best of the best and is built to last. Any questions let me know submitted by /u/greenufo333 to r/MouseReview [link] [comments]

SpaceMouse + Split Ergo Integration: Allium58CAD
Allum58CAD is a wireless split keyboard designed to integrate with a SpaceMouse for Engineering, CAD, and 3D design. This eliminates the need for a macro-pad, utilizing a custom layer to put commonly used keys and a number pad in easy reach of the SpaceMouse Navigator to minimize hand movement and keep your mouse hand on your mouse. I spent far too much time looking all over the internet for a good solution to give me a left hand number pad, and a few macro keys to use with my SpaceMouse navigator. Decided I didn’t like any of the solutions I saw and decided to create my own. Keyboard halves snap to the SpaceMouse base with magnets. This allows it to be used as a unibody split, or as a true split keyboard. GitHub readme still needs finalizing, but imparts the important info if you want to know more: https://github.com/zxku/Allium58CAD/blob/main/readme.md submitted by /u/zxkn2 to r/ErgoMechKeyboards [link] [comments]
