Got a few months worth of seed in the fall but don’t start taking them until the new year. Finished two months worth and then opened the third today but the expiration says 12/25.. Seed probiotic acclimation
I started taking Seed probiotics about 12 days ago. So far my constipation and bloating seems to have increased. If Seed ended up being helpful for you, was there an acclimation period where it got worse before it got better? If so, for how long? UPDATE: I stopped taking them and literally THAT DAY my constipation ended and I’ve felt so much better 😬 my mood has anecdotally been worse, but I attribute that to other factors submitted by /u/crowdsourcin to r/Microbiome [link] [comments]

Made an probiotic seed treatment that makes plants grow 2x faster - early results look promising
Been working on a seed treatment using antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) and the early results are pretty wild - treated seeds germinate better, plants grow about 2x faster with 2x longer roots, and it delays ripening so the fruits/veggies get way bigger before harvest. The pic shows my tomato test with treated seeds on the left vs control on the right, and you can see the clear difference in germination and growth. Obviously still super early and needs tons more testing, but if this scales up it could be huge for agriculture. Anyone else working on plant growth enhancement or have ideas for next steps to test this properly? Also question for farmers- do you guys buy bio stimulants for seeds? submitted by /u/Living-Pomelo-8966 to r/AgriculturePorn [link] [comments]

Kefir significantly increases lifespan. Kefir is full of probiotic strains, peptides, vital nutrients and has anti-inflammatory properties. Here is scientific evidence ans best ways to eat it.
Kefir is one of those simple foods that looks small and humble, but inside it carries a power that can literally change how long and how well you live. When people hear kefir, they imagine something like yogurt, but the truth is far bigger. Kefir is alive: filled with dozens of probiotic strains, natural peptides, and nutrients that work together like a tiny biological army rebuilding your whole body from the inside. It touches the core aging pathways themselves, the same ones scientists talk about when they explain why the body grows old. That’s why so many researchers call kefir one of the most underrated longevity foods on Earth. When you drink kefir, you’re not just drinking dairy. You’re sending billions of living microbes into your gut, where they start engineering your microbiome back toward youth. These microbes create short-chain fatty acids that lower inflammation, strengthen immunity, and support metabolic balance. The same things that protect young people from disease and give them energy, clarity, and strong recovery. Kefir practically acts like a natural reset button inside your digestive system, calming down the inflammatory fire that drives aging forward. People don’t realize how much inflammation controls lifespan. High IL-6, CRP, and TNF-α levels rise as we age, and they’re linked to heart disease, stroke, diabetes, Alzheimer’s: all the big killers. Kefir lowers all of these markers like a quiet internal medicine. Day by day, it reduces this background stress on the body, giving your cells space to repair instead of constantly fight. This is one of the biggest reasons kefir drinkers feel better. Lighter digestion, calmer mood, more stable energy. Kefir also boosts the immune system in a way few foods can. The mix of bacteria and yeasts inside it train your immune cells, helping them react fast to infections but stay calm when they should. A smart immune system is a long-life immune system. Older people often lose immune balance, but kefir helps restore this control, lowering infections and even calming autoimmune reactions. It’s like giving your immune system a personal coach every morning. And the metabolic effects are powerful too. Kefir helps flatten glucose spikes, improves insulin sensitivity, and brings fasting glucose down. Many people don’t know this, but getting your blood sugar under control is one of the strongest ways to slow aging. Some scientists even say kefir works a bit like a gentle, natural Metformin: helping your body use energy better, store less fat, and keep inflammation low. It supports cholesterol, blood pressure, and reduces arterial stiffness as well, which are all tied to cardiovascular aging. Kefir even affects the brain. The gut–brain axis is real, and kefir strengthens it. It increases GABA, lowers cortisol, and helps many people sleep deeper and think clearer. Mood improves. Stress settles. Your whole body works better when the gut and brain talk to each other smoothly. This connection is now seen as a major part of longevity science, and kefir plays directly into it. The beauty is that kefir works best when kept simple. The strongest version is plain, unsweetened kefir: no sugar, no flavoring, just pure living culture. Half a cup to a cup a day is enough to shift the microbiome noticeably. Some people mix it with blueberries and chia seeds for a powerful anti-inflammatory blend, or with oats overnight for better gut health. Cinnamon boosts its metabolic power, nuts add fiber and healthy fats, and even making a savory drink with mint like in traditional cultures gives amazing digestive benefits. If you want a type ranking, homemade kefir made from real grains is unbeatable. It has the most strains, the most active microbes, the best kefiran levels, and the strongest anti-inflammatory effects. Store-bought plain kefir is still excellent. Goat kefir is great for people with sensitive digestion, A2 milk kefir is perfect for those who react to A1 casein, and coconut and water kefir give dairy-free options that still help the microbiome, even if they’re a bit milder. Kefir touches every major aging pathway: inflammation, microbiome health, immunity, metabolism, oxidative stress, nutrient absorption, and even brain signaling. That’s why it reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer, cognitive decline, and bone loss. It’s simple, it’s cheap, it’s easy, and it works every single day you drink it. Kefir isn’t just food. It’s living medicine. Kefir has 30–50 living probiotic strains that rebuild the gut, calm inflammation, improve metabolism, strengthen immunity, and protect almost every system that keeps a person alive and young. A cup of kefir a day is one of the easiest, strongest longevity habits you can adopt. submitted by /u/GarifalliaPapa to r/immortalists [link] [comments]

I’m shocked at the difference (8 months)
The last five years have been hell. Cystic acne, redness, oily but flaky skin, scarring – the works. But maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. These photos are eight months apart. Below is a list of everything that has helped, in order of most to least helpful. 9 months sober! I only started drinking at 23 and quit at 26 and a half. I’m now 27, and looking at this photo, I don’t think I ever want to drink again. I’d have a bottle or two of red wine each weekend for about three years. Supplements For the past three months I’ve been taking a massive amount of supplements (probably not ideal for my kidney stone issues). • 4,000 IU vitamin D + K2 for immune regulation • 40 mg zinc - for inflammation • 16 mg astaxanthin - for antioxidant properties • NAC - reduces inflammation • 48 mg curcumin - reduces inflammation • 1,000 mg cod liver oil - reduces inflammation • CBD and black seed oil - reduces inflammation • 10,000 IU vitamin A - Oil control • 3,000 mg boswellia - reduces inflammation • 250 mg lactoferrin - reduces inflammation • 2–9 g vitamin B5 for oil control - reduces senum • HRI acne pills from Holland & Barrett • 5 g collagen with vitamin C for collagen production • Saccharomyces boulardii probiotic for gut health Winlevi Only became available in the UK earlier this year. Absolute game changer for men and androgenic skin. Only topical medication that can claim sebum reduction. It genuinely feels like it’s giving me the skin texture I had before puberty – that’s when everything fell apart. I’ve been on it for around three months. Some people report that it works for a few months and then makes things worse; I hope not, because I love it. It feels like a moisturiser. Polynucleotide injections Had three sessions in the summer helped with redness and scarring - thought it could be a scam, but I am happy with the results. Red light therapy I used this for the first six months, most nights. To be honest, I didn’t see much difference, and I’ve been so busy promoting my Christmas charity single (shameless plug – check my post history!) that I haven’t had time to keep up with it. Dermatica Tretinoin 0.5 percent and azelaic acid. Before anyone tries to convince me these did the heavy lifting, I’ve been on them since 2021 and sometimes they actually made things worse. The whole point of this post is to offer alternatives to the constant barrage of “just try tret”, benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid, etc. Sleep I used to get around 9 hours per night, but since taking on more work that dropped to 7–8, so I thought that might be affecting things. However, in the past month I’ve been getting only 5–6 hours because of my workload and yet my skin is just getting better. Food This one I’m unsure about. At various points I’ve been dairy-free for five years, gluten-free for one, sugar-free for one, AIP for two months, vegan for six. I couldn’t really see much difference. And in the past month, with my schedule, I’ve been eating terribly – Domino’s pizza last night, McDonald’s on Friday, Chinese last Sunday, loads of added sugar. Not good, I know. But I’ve also been at almost eating-disorder levels of restriction at times just for my skin, and I think I’ve proven to myself that I don’t need to be so dogmatic. Bad food is of course bad, but until the new year I’m going to be more relaxed with me diet. submitted by /u/Samclegg123 to r/SkincareAddictionUK [link] [comments]

Confirmed Seed Probiotics gave me SIBO
I have been having digestive issues the past year after taking Seed probiotics. I only took them for a few weeks but during that time I had horrible symptoms that I had no idea a probiotic could cause. I couldn’t sleep, extreme anxiety, racing thoughts, body would get really hot and red at night, it was torture. After I quit them my digestion never went back to normal. Any amount of probiotic now triggers the same reaction: yogurt, kombucha, etc. I finally saw a naturopath and took some stool and breath tests and she confirmed it’s SIBO. Have other people had this happen to them? Can any sort of action be taken again them? This is so twisted and unethical that they are even still in business when this is a possible side effect. And it’s going to cost me thousands to treat. submitted by /u/s20000001 to r/Microbiome [link] [comments]

Seed Probiotic WRECKED me
So, this happened over a year ago and I’m well past it thankfully. But I saw Seed being sold at Target yesterday and it prompted me to share my experience. I, like many others, was completely influenced by people on Instagram who were swearing that it changed their lives for the better (and maybe it did, I know everyone’s system handles supplements differently). Prior to trying Seed, nothing was really wrong with my digestion but I remembered back to many years ago when I was taking a standard store bought probiotic and how much more energetic I felt during that time. I have three young children, so I’ll take that when I can get it. So when I saw that Seed was a game changer for many, I figured it couldn’t hurt to try. I started out with half the recommended dose as I like to start slowly with things like this. I got pretty bad stomach cramps and just a general unwell feeling but it wasn’t completely consuming me and I figured it was “die off” symptoms. The next few days were the same. So probably my third or fourth time taking it, I decided to take the regular recommended dose. And holy hell. I was in bed in the fetal position, seeing stars because the pain was so intense. I felt like I was going to pass out at any moment and honestly I’m surprised I didn’t. I made my way to the bathroom and I didn’t actually throw up but I had to lay on the bathroom floor for hours because I knew something was gonna come out at some point. I ended up having diarrhea but that part isn’t super concerning, it’s more so the otherworldly cramping I was experiencing. I’ve naturally delivered 3 babies vaginally so I wouldn’t say it has anything to do with my pain tolerance. Anyway! The next day I was completely exhausted from not sleeping but my stomach eased up. It never happened again and I threw the bottle in the trash. (I didn’t eat anything different from my family, I went over everything it could’ve been that day and this was the only different/new thing) All of this to say — be careful trying a probiotic willy nilly because of Instagram 🤪 I’m interested to hear if anyone else had a negative reaction to Seed? submitted by /u/Commercial_Funny_73 to r/Microbiome [link] [comments]

Does adding hot tadka (mustard seeds, curry leaves, ghee) to curd rice or kefir kill the probiotics? Looking for practical advice
Hi all, I love salty fermented foods like overnight curd rice and kefir, but I want to add Indian tadka (mustard seeds, curry leaves, ghee) for flavor. Will adding hot tadka directly kill the live probiotics, or is it fine? I read that heat kills them, but what about the spices themselves? What’s the best way to keep probiotics alive while getting the tadka flavor — should I let the tadka cool before adding, or temper spices into rice first and then mix curd/kefir later? Any practical advice or experience is appreciated! View Poll submitted by /u/Horror-Possible-2576 to r/IndianFood [link] [comments]

My husband’s bowels staged a coup after he tried to eat “clean” for three whole days
You know how some couples bond by working out together? Or meal prepping? Or doing morning walks? My husband and I bond by playing daily games of “what new food item will betray his digestive system today.” This week’s installment began when my husband (40M) decided he wanted to “clean up his gut.” Now, this is the same man who once deep-fried a Pop-Tart because he wanted to “experiment.” The same man who thought taking a fiber supplement and eating 20 chicken wings was "balance." So when he suddenly started Googling things like “gut health” and “low FODMAP recipes,” I got nervous. Real nervous. For three days straight, he only ate boiled veggies, brown rice, and something that vaguely resembled tofu but had the texture of a wet band-aid. Then he added a chia smoothie. Because why not throw a gallon of jelly seeds into a system already on strike? Fast forward to night three: We’re in bed. I’m half asleep. He turns to me and says, “Babe my insides feel like they’re gentrifying.” I ask what that even means. He responds by letting out a fart so long and complex it could have been an orchestral overture. I’m talking crescendo, movement changes, and a final brass section that set off the carbon monoxide detector. I left the room. The dog left the room. Even Alexa asked if we wanted to call emergency services. The next day, he started clutching his side like he was in a Shakespeare play and announced that he might have a twisted colon. Not a real diagnosis. Just vibes. So he goes to the gastroenterologist, and after several tests, scans, and what I assume was a high-stakes round of “Name That Smell,” they confirm: IBS. With Lactose Intolerance. And “mild food sensitivity to everything he loves.” Great. He comes home looking like he lost a custody battle with his own colon. But instead of being careful, he takes the new list of “safe foods” and decides that “moderation” is just a polite suggestion. He eats an entire tub of hummus, half a watermelon, and what I’m pretty sure was three servings of Brussels sprouts. All in one sitting. Like a goat. That night, he transformed into a sentient whoopee cushion. I had to Google “how to safely open windows during a storm” just to survive. At one point I honestly thought the walls were breathing. And then came The Great Yogurt Incident. I told him, kindly, to avoid dairy. He nodded. Smiled. Said “I got this.” Then I found him in the kitchen at 2am, double-fisting Greek yogurt and shredded cheddar cheese like some kind of protein goblin. He looked me in the eyes and said, “The probiotics cancel the dairy.” That’s not how science works. That’s not how anything works. Long story short: he’s now grounded from unsupervised grocery shopping, I’ve removed all dairy from the house, and he’s only allowed to have tofu if I’m watching. Also, the dog still won’t sleep in our room. He has PTSD from last Thursday’s cheddar hurricane. Marriage is beautiful. But sometimes it smells like death and poor decisions. submitted by /u/tulynx to r/stories [link] [comments]

Spent 30k+ On Lasers/Skincare - Here are My Hacks and Takeaways
Hi guys! *For title it should be Lasers/Skincare/Beauty Hacks *I have tan skin so lasers are a bit complicated due to risk of hyperpigmentation I.e. IPL not mentioned DISCLAIMER: PLEASE double check this with the science, before/afters, own skin and goals, and research articles. I'm not a dermatologist but a majority of my friend circle are physicians and we all do this anyhow before trying anything. I don't have time to cite articles etc and this is just MY experience SO I thought after spending so much money and buying all the overhyped products I should share what worked for me to reduce my skincare regimen and allow me to be makeup free for work. So I've been deep into skincare for a long time and I wanted to officially share it as a lot of my friends asked me to. We don't gatekeep here and I thought Reddit would be the best place. My background: I'm into digital portraits and it requires an understanding of good ratios of the face. I'm also into deep diving into skincare hacks like all of us. Here's what I think works off the top of my head. Procedures Ultraclear + Coring: forget ponytail facelifts, lip lifts, belphs, skinpinch, brow lifts, etc until you try this first. A good tech can get you the results you want. Ask to core where you want max lift. Make sure they pass with all the levels. It's painful so use your own numbing cream (I think some Russian brands are stronger available online), numb for a long time, and opt for the laughing gas or whatever. Make sure to have them use eye shields for your eyes. Have them core in the direction of the lift you want. Ask for a map of how they did it. You'll want 2-3 over a year to get the full lift you want. Nothing supersedes this procedure. For healing: 10% vinegar soaks + ointment + Benev exosomes + Alastin skin nectar. Hydroquinone to prevent spots from forming. Moxi Level 3: It works REALLY well but it's a baby compared to Ultraclear. Make sure to try level 3 for maximum lift. You can do a series of 3 if you're not ready for Ultraclear. Fontana 4D: It also works REALLY well and can contour your cheeks skin the buccal fat removal. Moxi Level3/Fontana 4D def made me hot again after 20lb weight loss causing signs of aging before my wedding. Again do a series of 3 for max results. Ultraclear did the most though, I would do all 3 until I die or go broke. BBL Laser: It works and makes you look like you have foundation on (and gets rid of under eye darkness) but because of techs fears of hyperpigmentation (a real fear) it's hard to find someone to do it. PRF/EZGEL: My under eyes looked better but also the swelling stretched out the skin so it also looks worse? Not worth it. PRF or PRP is useless, the gel is the only thing worth trying. Laser Hair Removal: Make sure they are using the newest machine that is practically painless, find a center that does a full body membership it's cheaper, you'll need 8-12 sessions. The painless one is worth it just get it done all over at Morpheus: painful and melts fat stay away. I did it 3 times, it got rid of my beautiful under eye fat pads, it slimmed my buccal fat, and it got rid of some acne though. It's not worth it due to pain and fat melting and lack of skin tightness effects it so claims. Katalyst EMS Suit >> Emsculpt: They cost the same and both work but you can keep Katalyst for life. Just use settings on abs/butt and get up to level 400, you can thank me later! I had Emsculpt 5X on butt and AB's, it works temporary, now we own. 2 Katalyst suits and they make sure fit whenever we want and honestly just as fast. Emsella: Amazing for sex drive and preventing or helping with prolapse issues! Also works for urinary issues post kids :). Do 6 sessions for prevention and amazing sex. Coolsculpt: Bullshit. Can burn skin btw. HIFU: Melts fat. But it works:) so use in the right areas. J Plasma: feels like lightening bolts attacking skin and limited outcome, stay away. PDO Threads: Forget it, painful, invasive, temporary. Omnilux Redlight Mask: Get the MENS version. It works. Jovs: it breaks apparently l but I'm gonna try it and update yall later. Also curious about Amiro devices given what they say they do/tech they use. ZIIP Halo + Silver Gel >Nuface: It works better than all the other main home microcurrent devices I've tried (nuface, medicube, 2 others on amazon) get the silver serum as daily easy skincare. Forget the other ones. Things on my list: Sofwave, Emface (per reviews sounds useless?), Syllifirm, Profound, comment and lmk I'll try it if it sounds safe and effective. Injections: Botox: Prevent wrinkles (but tbh this is BS until you have a baby line forming), get rid of wrinkles, shrinks muscle. What I've liked: TMJ/Jaw Slimming (30-50U per side), TRAP TOX (amazing and makes your neck longer), LIP FLIP, NOSE TIP, BROW LIFT (only do the tail of the brow not the whole brow) and PLATYSMA (prevents face sagging and actually works, prob the most underrated and important area for Botox!). Filler: Deep Lasers ("lift" = volume) >> Sculptra (natural body makes volume) >> Slow Down on Fillers >> Injector >> Price/Injectable. Fly to the right person LA, Miami, or New York. Make sure the area they inject, they do often. Treat multiple areas BUT WITH 1/3 THE ACTUAL DOSE you want and go again twice. This prevents the botched look. Dissolve overfilled lips, it hurts, but it's worth it. ALA/Glutathione/Vit C: Shrinks pores and evens out skin tone. Make sure to add ALA for max pore shrinking. It also helps regulate sugar. You can also opt for liposomal. Go to a reputable IV center and make sure to have labs to get ALA. Peels/SkinCare: 30%+ Glycolic Acid On Body - Fast way to clear scars and evens out skin tone. Start low and increase slowly to prevent a burn. TCA Peel - Amazing for anti-aging tbh. But go to a spa and have them do it (face or full body) because it's more serious. Musely Spot Cream - Amazing stuff if you're lazy like me and don't like to do 100 things. Combines all the stuff you want for face skincare. Apostrophe Triple Cream for Rosacea - Top 3 ingredients that work for rosacea in 1 bottle. Also look into low dose naltrexone. Also moxi or ultraclear helps. Benev Exosomes + Microneedling: Use for scars and face/body with a home microneedling pen (max the number of needles Dr Pen is good). Calecium Exosomes + Microneedling: A godsend for hair growth. Retinol Gel .1% + Stack With Hydration: get it prescribed. Level up to max %, look up how to layer with coconut oil/moisturizers/Benev to prevent the ugly phase (breakouts, dry skin). Don't need if have Musely spot cream or alternate days. Clindamycin/Benzyl Peroxide Compound Cream: Get it prescribed and store it fridge now. It's the only thing that reliably clears up my acne overnight (I've tried dozens of acne products over 16 years). Alastin Skin Nectar: My main moisturizer post laser. * Wanted to add for Daily I use Prakti Maha mask because it works like under eye filler almost when you stack it on and gets rid of my acne without extra stuff about 60-70% of the time. I combine with Clarins double serum or snail stuff just depends. Also considering plated exosomes. Ourself Lip Plumping: If you don't want lip filler or just want to maximize lip size try this brand it's from the makers of one of the actual fillers and it works. Minoxidil>Grandelash>Latisse: Latisse darks eyelids /under eyes and lose eye fat so stay away!! It's so hard to get that fat back!! Use castor oil for eyelash durability and oral minoxidil for eyelash growth. Pills: Oral Minoxidil: Max your eyelashes and hair volume Low Dose Accutane: Freeze eggs before doing this. Derm will prescribe for chronic acne especially if on back etc. It will also help reduce size of tip of nose if issues with rosacea or thick skin. Gets rid of acne but horrible side effects even at a low dose. Spirinolactone: NOT FOR ME - will give me headache, dehydration, makes me dumb because I'm so dehydrated, worse breakout for months, also just not worth taking this pill. It may work for others? Eyes: Lumify (duh) Hair: Nanoplastia > Keratin Straightening > KBond20 > Olaplex > Dyson Teeth: SMILE Whitening (in office dental procedure) INSANE will get you white instantly Request for double frequency teeth cleanings Purple Toothpaste = Safe Alternative to Home Teeth Whitening that works better Boka Nanohhydroxy Toothpaste (so you don't loose enamel) Toothbrush with Water Flosser Combined (another lazy girl hack) Therabreath (contains xylitol known to prevent cavities) Mind Hacks: TDCS headband :) works for insomnia, works for mood I'll copy past all my comments into above later I use Elemind headband + Calm Sleep Powder for sleep after having sleep issues - (don't want to take meds, Benadryl is very bad for long term health and linked to increased dementia risk) Multivitamin: Make sure it has 5 methylfolate not "folic" acid. Try pure encapsulations or if you want to eat food-source multi try TEND prenatal bar chocolate flavor. Vit D: Try to get level to 60-90 it's suppose to help with a lot of things including depression!! Alzheimer prevention! Even used by oncologists to decrese cancer risk!! I take 50k unit every week and recheck my level after a month to make sure it's atleast 80. I used to have depression. Astaxanthin: 2000x more potent antioxidant than Vit C. It can give you an orangish glow if you overuse or if you're aiming for that! I used to use Vit c and other antioxidants. Omega 3/DHA (fish derived not algae!): Take it or eat fish it's good for you. DHA 1000mg I've been using for 10 years and it makes me smarter and remember more for exams etc. Silica Drops + Collagen 10G Daily w Hylaronic Acid + 100G Protein Daily > Nutrafol > Biotin/Hair Nail Vitamins: yes the standard female nutrafol works, I prefer Minodixil it's faster and better for me and less big pills lol. 1G Water A Day - Eat good food, drink water. Take collagen, eat protein 100G daily, fat 50G daily. Otherwise this is useless. ADD POTASSIUM (prime powder packets) to SLIM FACE SWELLING. Add gua sha or lymph suction drainage also to help. Sauna/Ice Water on Face also works. Low Fat is a FAD - Hit 50G fat a day - obv is you need to optimize weight lower calories and cut inflammatory food like most non vegetable carbs. You can take a food allergy test also and optimize. For example no tomato skins, no onions for us. Exercise (weights good for bones: BUT for brain benefits it's only with aerobic workouts!): increased bdnf and prevents depression also improved blood flow from skin - look into the research and thank me later - you need to burn 1200cal a week to hit this Dairy Does Cause Breakouts - cut it out and see if there's a change for acne Colustrum: ARMRA works better than others but they all work. It's good for gut health aka good for skin. Seed Probiotic: the best strains here. Rosacea/Autoimmune Skin Stuff: Look into low dose naltrexone and astaxanthin. Autoimmune issues cause the face to look puffy! PCOS/Hunger Cravings: Inositol 6G powder or gummy inositol/myoinositol Vitamin: Tend Prenatal Bar (hate daily pills) Gummy CoQ10 200mg Tru Niagen NAD+ (gives me energy) OM matcha mushroom powder (this flavor specifically has a blend that makes me happy/laughing next day, I use when stressed) Silica Drops (makes my hair shiny, nails stronger within weeks) Zinc Picolinate 30mg (if sick or acne) Fisetin (or Qualia monthly) gets rid of dead cells I just feel good when I take it Vital Protein Collagen/Hylaronic Acid Dessicated Beef Liver or Shilajit (micronutrients) Multivitamin: Pure Encapsulations ONE I don't take pills daily except multivitamin or depending on my aim. But these are what work for me and what I've read that makes sense and I've tried without side effects and some benefit x Inpsitol is a miracle that everyone should know about it'll legit make you less anxious too Deodorant: Chlorella Liquid (removes body odor) > Native > Certaindri. want to try the weekly devices out there that actually stop sweating but weighing risks. Native covers me all day smelling good and I used to sweat through EVERYTHING. Nails: basic - sally hansen hard as nails clear (drop 3-4 magenta drops of any brand in for a natural pink nail look) - silica drops make nails tough af - only do RUSSIAN manicures they are magic thank me later SUN: the sun is your enemy for skincare, it's time to be aware of this all the time! Legally UV tint the max of your front car window (there's a way to uv protect without darkening so it's legal). Always wear long sleeves or a hat. Cover face with hand when walking and unprotected. I use supergoop clear sun stick because I'm lazy and it's a stick and doesn't have white caste. I'm sure there's better ones but this is the best clear stick I found. The powder makeup ones are BS and don't actually protect you. A HAT + Long Sleeves >> Weight Loss: I have a chubby face if my BMI is above 19 genetically. Find the BMI you need for optimizing your face. I drink all my water before eating. I drink black decaf with monk fruit (stevia is not as safe, Splenda is bad news) instead of lattes. I put all my food on a salad instead of rice. I don't eat grain carbs because it makes me bloated. I eat spinach daily because it has highest potassium (reduces face bloating). I try to have have less than 1.5G salt daily. I also make sure there is IODINE in my salt for my thyroid (pink salt is causing iodine deficiencies and thus thyroid issues!). No dairy because it gives me acne (try cashew milk 25 cal). I hit 100G protein via NATURAL NO POWDER sources. Then I sleep by getting my fat intake (50g) and veggies cooked with seasoning I like or whatever I want to eat (kind of a baby Intermittant fast but more lax). If I'm craving sweets I eat frozen fruit and add fake honey (monk fruit sweetened avail sprouts). If you made it this far, the most important thing is to be at a healthy weight, eat right, drink water, no alcohol (I've heard from friends: Passion flower extract "anxiety" > IV NAD (addiction)), no smoking(I've heard from friends: Chantix > Wellbutrin> Nicotine Patch > Tapering Nicotine Vape ), no all nighters (if insomnia look above TDCS headband elemind > Calm Sleep Powder > Sublingual Melatonin). This is all I could think of but I've tried a lot feel free to DM me. I've also deep dived into fertility and dementia stuff for friends/family! If you want reccs DM! You can fact check me but I research this stuff just like we all do so you'll find out or realize this is likely the consensus. submitted by /u/Mindmaster04129 to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Anybody try the Seed Vaginal Probiotic Suppositories?
Hey y'all. I (25F) just bought some (they are very expensive) I thought why the hell not this is a reputable brand. I'll be doing the suppositories plus the oral probiotics to see if my very reactive hooha can go back to its normal pre-mycoplasma state. (BTW I'm negative for mycoplasma now. Just reactive and sensitive to errything) I will update after the first week, month and second month on the Seed regimen. I will be having protected segs with my monogamous male partner. Hopefully I see some positive change! Right now I get itchy, possible mild yeast infection after sex. No my partner does not have a yeast infection. Its just me being me

New seed VS-01 probiotic suppository with L. crispatus. Thoughts?
Question: What do we think about the new seed VS-01 suppository with 3 strains of L. crispatus? What about the other ingredients in it? Product info: They did perform some trials on it as well. Check it out on seed’s website. Could post link here. Personal background: I have been getting recurrent yeast infections for the past 2 months I have had 3 of them. Never had them before. I did try boric acid from love wellness (which seemed to help) and then their flora power probiotic (which seemed to trigger another yeast infection, so l am a little skeptical of another suppository. I am currently taking oral probiotics with some L. crispatus, L. Reuteri, and L. Rhamnosus. I have an evvy kit on the way to do some microbiome testing as well. Concluding thoughts: I would love to hear thoughts from others on here as well about this new seed suppository since I know L. crispatus is the best dominant strain to have in your vaginal microbiome. submitted by /u/Turbulent_Safe to r/Healthyhooha [link] [comments]

Did anyone else get wrecked by Seed probiotics?
I decided to start the seed symbiotic a few months ago (after getting some gi symptoms when I quit an ssri) and ever since my first few pills my gi tract and stomach has been in hell. I’ve been at the end of my rope with burping 24/7, bloating, gerd, and nausea for the past few months. I lost 20 pounds bc I couldn’t eat. I threw up next to a riverside trail 😮💨It got so bad that I scheduled a gi appointment. In prep For one of their tests, they had me go off my probiotics.. and I kid you not I’ve been feeling so much better. It was literally traumatic I thought I was dying lmao. Seed symbiotic went in the trash. DAE know why this happened? Everyone is raving about it in the reviews. submitted by /u/MediumKeyAF to r/Microbiome [link] [comments]
