Wegovy Pill Journey Post 1, weeks 1-6 (introduction)
*This got extremely long. I am sorry, this includes a lot of introduction about myself, and I'll keep it shorter in following posts. I welcome feedback and hope to communicate with the community. Hello Wegovy Community. I wanted to start posting updates on my experience on the Wegovy Pill. There seems to not be a ton of information on the pill form, and this will be a good way to share my experience with others, while keeping myself accountable. I'll start with a little information about myself, how I came to this situation, and how the past month+ has gone. I'm planning on weighing myself daily, in the morning, and I'll post weekly about my weight change with notes on the week, and we'll see where it goes from there. I started Wegovy 1.5mg pill on Feb. 6th. I've wanted to get on a GLP-1 for a very long time but whenever I brought it up with my doctors they said I would not qualify for insurance coverage. I asked my PCP, Cardiologist (I had an Afib situation a little over a year ago), and my Somnologist (I also have sleep apnea). Finally my PCP after a dedicated appointment to talk about weight loss, he recommended going directly through the Wegovy company to get the pill form and not using insurance. I am going through Novocare with CenterWell Pharmacy, and it costs me $150 for 30pills, delivered overnight with Fedex. I can setup delivery a couple weeks before I run out, so if I am planning on going somewhere I can make sure I get a new bottle before I run out. My starting weight was around 270lbs, depending on time of day and what scale I was weighing myself on. I am on Lisinopril, Eliquis, and Metoprolol. I have had an episode of Afib and I also use a Cpap machine for my sleep apnea. Initial thoughts on the Wegovy Pill: This seems to be a wonder drug! When I tell you my food noise has decreased, that would be an understatement. I thought of myself as a foodie, adventurous eater, and always thinking and planning on what I could eat next. This has absolutely flat lined. I still love and enjoy good food, going out, and making meals, but I no longer fantasize about getting grubhub or to-go for a meal. I am completely satisfied with eating a much smaller, simpler meal at home. I can count on my hand the times I have felt hungry over the past month+. This is also usually right as I am trying to fall asleep and I wonder if it's because of the drug wearing off. BUT I have not succumbed to the hunger desire, because the pill is working! And I don't want to lose all the progress I have made with a late night snack/meal. Daily Routine with Drug: To take this pill, you are instructed to take it first thing in the morning with 4oz or less water, and then not eat or drink for at least 30min. I usually wake up to use the restroom between 5-6AM, and I take the pill then and weigh myself. I usually lay back down till my son wakes up at around 6:30AM. I make coffee and breakfast at 6:45AM. For breakfast I usually just have a banana, coffee, and maybe the leftover fruit and a bite of bagel and cream cheese my 6yr old son didn't eat. We head to school at 7:40 and I maybe have a handful of spicy peanuts out of a jar I keep in my car for when I wanted to knosh. I hit the gym after dropping him off. I have a very bad relationship with working out and the gym, it has always been the last thing I've wanted to do. I have always turned to fad diets to lose weight before working out, and while they worked at the time, the weight would always come back and add on. Because of my weird relationship, I am trying to take it slow and not get sore. My feelings are if I go every day, thats better then going hard 1 day and not returning for awhile. So with that said, I only do about 30min cardio, and then 15min in the sauna. I have been very good and successful with this method. Rest of my day is filled with responsibilities, and again have found the food noise to be minimal, so lunch is small, maybe leftovers, veggies and hummus, a hotdog/sausage, etc. And dinner is mostly a homemade meal with 1 serving, down from my typical 2 servings a night. Weight Management Numbers: Now for the results you've been waiting for: I am weighing in at 258.5lbs, starting at 270lbs in Feb. Conclusion and where we go from here: I feel generally great about losing a little over 10lbs in 6ish weeks. My clothes are feeling looser, I don't feel as heavy generally, easier to get up, move about, etc. Do I wish it was more? Of course, especially after reading some of these success stories, but I remind myself it is working. I have recently bumped up my dosage from 1.5 to 4mg, and hope the weight lose just continues, maybe at a little faster pace 😉. I will update my journey weekly, while keeping a daily weight lose journal for myself that I may post at the end of the week. I would love to hear from the community about what you would like me to include. I'll post ups and downs from the week, what worked, what didn't, etc. Hope to hear from you! submitted by /u/WegovyPillTracker to r/Wegovy [link] [comments]

F/34/5’5 [380lbs>160lbs=220lbs] (70-ish months) Reminiscing on what a wild ride this has been
I started this journey in 2019. There wasn’t a rock-bottom moment or big epiphany.. I just randomly decided to start one day. If I had seen these pictures back then, I wouldn’t have believed it was possible. I’ve struggled with my weight since childhood. I did Weight Watchers with my mom, played sports purely for the exercise, and even went to fat camp for six weeks at 13. My parents truly tried to help, but it unintentionally fueled a cycle of binge eating and crash dieting that followed me into adulthood. At my highest, I was nearly 400 lbs. In 2019, I had weight loss surgery and lost almost 200 pounds in a year. Then I got pregnant in 2020. Between pregnancy and postpartum, I regained almost half of what I’d lost. The shame was heavy. I felt like I had wasted my one shot. In 2023, my doctor started me on Wegovy, and that changed everything. Even after surgery, I constantly battled food noise. For the first time in my life, my brain felt quiet. I wasn’t white-knuckling my appetite anymore. I was finally able to work with my body instead of against it. Once I reached 160 lbs I began excess skin removal surgeries. 2024: fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty + breast lift. 2025: brachioplasty. Next up: thigh lift in a few weeks. The surgeries have been as transformative mentally as they have been physically. Body dysmorphia is real, but seeing the loose skin removed has helped my brain catch up to reality. My surgeon has exceeded every expectation I had. This whole process has been messy and nonlinear. Surgery wasn’t magic. Medication wasn’t magic. Pregnancy wasn’t failure. It’s been tools, setbacks, adjustments, and a lot of persistence. It feels surreal to be closing a chapter I lived in for most of my life.To be honest, learning how to maintain has been harder than losing the weight. (Never expected that) If you’re in the middle of it, just starting, or scared you’ve “messed it up”.. you haven’t. You can always start again. It’s worth it. submitted by /u/brittanyb369 to r/progresspics [link] [comments]

Wegovy journey ended but will keep making smart choices
Insurance is no longer covering and I finally took my last pen after waiting for the good noise to come back. I started in September and I just feel like it is over way too fast. I never went higher than the first dose pen. Well I started this journey at 200 and now ending it at 148. Now to just keep going till I reach my goal of 115 where my bmi will finally be in the healthy range for my height submitted by /u/Top_Guitar4141 to r/WegovyWeightLoss [link] [comments]

My 3 week Wegovy journey
Hey guys! I hope my experience might help someone else out there. I have 35 lbs to lose, and was able to do it completely on my own in 2022 after the pandemic, only to suffer a rib injury and due to the inability to work out, ended up losing the motivation to eat right. And gained it all back! This was after reaching an all time high after the pandemic which exceeded my prior weight upon delivering my son and daughter. I am 49 and in perimenopause now, and the food noise and night time cravings and snacking felt overwhelming. So with all the commercials on TV I decided to try compounded semaglutide from Ro. I was honestly very nervous about side effects but my first week was not bad! Food noise reduced almost immediately. But on the 3rd night I had something too tomato-y for dinner, not even a large portion, and ended up vomiting and unable to sleep the whole night. In addition to feeling less hungry, unable to finish small portions of food, I also noticed I was really sensitive to acid and had to avoid coffee, tomatoes, etc. I focused on eating quality protein, fiber and fresh produce when I did feel hungry. The first week I lost 3 lbs! Yay! I was already down 5 lbs on my own since New Year's Day but a lot of this was likely bloating from the holidays. Week 2, I had a vodka with lemon juice at a friend's house on the day of my injection and BOY my stomach was not happy with me. I had to rush home to vomit :( So after that was even more careful with acid. I would notice gas pains which is normal result of slowed digestion and to be expected. Week 2 progress: 2 lbs lost! Happy with this rate of loss, my initial goal was a steady 2 lbs a week until I reached my goal. Which is healthy and pretty much recommended by doctors universally as safe. YMMV especially with underlying health issues. Week 3 was a doozy and ultimately made me decide to not continue with my treatment. A few days after my 3rd injection I ended up vomiting up my dinner and felt nauseous and was unable to sleep. I seemed to recover by the next morning and was able to keep down saltines and water. I don't even remember the full sequence of events now because I was so ill and sleep deprived, but by Tuesday into Wednesday I became unable to hold down water, unable to sleep, and felt like I was dying! I had access to a ton of medications like zofran, omeperazole, clidinium, as well as Gas x, Pepto and benadryl (can be used to treat nausea and vomiting! I did not know this. It's the same ingredient as Dramamine). Literally nothing helped but time. Little sips of water eventually. I knew I just had to wait for the med to leave my system. This was part of my initial apprehension about the injection, not because of the needle but because if I had a bad effect it was going to probably stick around. I was well enough on the day of what should have been my 4th injection to go back to work! Yay. Week 3 progress: 7, that's right, seven pounds. Holy shit! This is way too fast to be healthy and I felt like I was engaging in pharmaceutical bulimia. My muscles felt so weak and wasted. So I focused on eating as much protein (greek yogurt, salmon) as I comfortably could and by the evening I felt well enough to do a pretty tough dance workout! I took my last dose on 1/23/26 and it is now 1/31/26. My appetite returned yesterday but the food noise has not! I food shopped and felt like cooking up a storm (I love cooking which is why I got so fat lol), but when it came time to eat, I got full and pushed my plate away! It felt SOOOO GOOD to eat a normal dinner of salmon, tzatziki, broccoli and cannellini beans with a few glasses of wine. I slept like a baby too. Ultimately I don't regret my decision and am glad I gave it a try, if even to serve as a wake up call that I *can* do this on my own, and that I would rather continue my journey losing 1-2 lbs a week with healthy diet and exercise and deal with cravings. NGL, I am thrilled that my waist is noticeably smaller and my belly is smaller so that exercising, especially yoga, is easier. My stomach was literally impeding my ability to get into certain poses, and I was able to polish my own toes at 9 months pregnant, lol I am flexible but was starting to lose mobility within my own body, and that just sucks. Not to mention that even my fat clothes were starting to get tight, and I miss dressing nicely. My advice to anyone wanting to try: LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. When you feel "hungry" on GLP, you should try to eat nourishing foods. Stay hydrated. When you feel energetic, try to exercise a bit. Manage symptoms like gas and heartburn before they become too severe to treat and keep OTC meds on hand. Also good to revisit any morning sickness remedies like ginger and saltines that may have worked if you have been pregnant! I absolutely abhor vomiting and was lucky enough to avoid it for 2 pregnancies. So this was just not working out. I recently started a new job and need to be there, I freelance on the side and am a working mother. The 7 lb loss really scared me and I wonder if this sort of rapid loss is what causes so many people to experience pancreatitis and other organ issues while on GLP. Not to mention Ozempic face and hair shedding. 15lbs down and 20 to go! I got this! And I bet you do too! submitted by /u/thenotorioushab to r/WegovyWeightLoss [link] [comments]

I cried.
My Mom has been buying me size L and XL for Christmas for as long as I can remember. Sometimes, I could make the XL work, if it was a stretchy sweater. But eventually, she started asking me what size to buy, which resulted in my (old) real size of 2XL (or 3XL most recently). This year was different. Since she’s been with me throughout this journey, she took a chance and bought me smaller items for Christmas. I yelped when I put on the leggings she got me - size L (12-14). Never in my adult life have I worn a size so small. We’re a longgg way from a 20-22 baby! Onto the reason I cried… I’ve been targeting 180 lbs for a while now. And you know how it goes, some months you have more loss than others. In my lofty mind, I wanted to hit 180 so badly by 12/31. No real reason, it’s just what I wanted. Well, I was close, but I didn’t quite hit my mark by 12/31. So I just said, okay, I’ll keep going. Well this morning I woke up, thinking that the scale was going to jump up after too many treats over the holidays and guess what the scale said? 179.9 ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! I’m officially down 82.1 lbs and I cried. Like what is this life?! I have never weighed this as an adult. All of these new experiences from choosing to help myself get healthy. I still have a ways to go to reach my final goal. I never really knew I would get to this weight because it was hard to imagine at my highest weight of 262 😳 But I’m doing it, one day at a time, sometimes one meal at a time. And I’m going to keep going for the version of me that just wanted to feel better back in 2023 - when I had the courage to ask my doctor for medication to help me (first for Wegovy, later Zep). Keep going, friends. submitted by /u/51journeys to r/Zepbound [link] [comments]

2 years -70lbs
I went to my doctor in August of 2023 and I was very disheartened. I’d been athletic throughout my 20s, gained weight post grad school, got down to 145 lbs for my wedding at 30, and yo-yoed up and down through diet and exercise throughout my 30s. In my 40s however, I just kept packing on pounds until I hit 200 lbs , size 14/16 at 5’ tall. I begged my PCP for help, she prescribed Wegovy but it was at the height of the shortage so I was never able to get it filled. Then in January of 2024 I heard about Zepbound and asked if I could switch to that. I immediately saw a difference in my bloated belly and last weight at a steady rate of ~ 2 lbs per week. I hit a stall at 165 lbs in June 2024, broke it, got down to 147 lbs and then stalled again in Oct 2024. I began 2025 with a new resolve. I lowered my goal weight from 135 lbs to 125 lbs, contacted my old personal trainer and began lifting heavy with him twice a week in addition to my home workouts 2-3 days/week. The weight loss was inching along at this point- 1-3 lbs a month but by October I hit a low weight of 127 lbs. 2 lbs shy of my ultimate goal weight. I decided to stop and begin maintenance at this point. I’m a petite XS or 0-2 in most stores. Even some XS sports bras are too big. I went from spilling out of 36DD to 32C (really I need a 34 A but that’s not a thing). I realize this is kind of a “ my diamond shoes are too tight” thing but I realized that getting any smaller would make finding clothes a PITA. I have grown strong and confident, I’ve lost my belly but also my butt and my boobs. 🤣 I’m still on 15mg - stretching it to a biweekly shot. My weight has ticked up a bit to 130 lbs but I’m fine with that as my clothes actually fit a bit better with those few extra pounds. I suspect my insurance will no longer cover the meds in the new year but I have 5 boxes left and will cross that bridge when I come to it. Some non scale victories - I have cut the dosage of my blood pressure meds in half and I’m working with my doc to get off of them permanently. My BMI is down from 39 to a high normal range, I no longer snore like a freight train and I wake up rested. In addition, when I hear my recorded voice, I no longer sound like I’m gasping for breath after each word. It took me 2 years to get here, I’m not a super responder- more of a turtle but us turtles get to the finish line too! So if you’re at the start of your journey or if you’re in a stall, don’t give up! You can do it! submitted by /u/Lower_Importance_409 to r/Zepbound [link] [comments]

My Wegovy journey begins in the morning.
I did the VA MOVE class and tried a couple of other meds that had adverse effects but did lose 9 lbs. Messaged my PCM and included the prior authorization form, highlighting that I met the requirements; i.e. BMI over 30, and have OSS as well as some osteoarthritis. Anyways I’m 42, around 250 lbs and hoping to get under 220 over the coming months and get back into exercising with less pain, lower blood pressure, and feel better about myself in general. Feel free to post your experiences if you’ve been in a similar situation. submitted by /u/Slimy-But-Whole to r/VeteransBenefits [link] [comments]

I hate to be that person but I am going to share my Wegovy journey thus far in ~4 months
Let me preface by saying I have PCOS and IBS, and some GERD. I have a lot of medical issues for a young person like me so I am on a ton of meds. I started Wegovy sometime in June 2025 and was about 206 pounds. I've been on GLP-1s on and off for years mainly due to issues with insurance coverage (my weight range since January 2017 has been as low as 159 and as high as 220). Ozempic was my favorite, hormonal issues were under control from PCOS and no side effects except for a drop of nausea in the first two months. I was a few pounds shy of my doctor's goal weight of 155, I am 5'6". Yep insurance changed at my job and I got fucked. My goal would be like 120 or 130 lol. I have some binge eating issues. My least favorite was Trulicity. Vomited etc but now my least favorite is Wegovy. And paying the $500/month sucks. I did my .25 and .5 starting in June. Some nausea but still binge eating. Early August begins the 1 mg. Since then I can hardly eat and nausea is crazy. I just don't feel the hunger pangs, rarely anyway. I've thrown up- which is a bad sign because I never barf from meds except for Trulicity and now Wegovy. So 2 months of 1 mg. How much weight have I lost since early August...mind you I didn't really lose anything the first two months. 18 pounds in 4-5 weeks. I feel terrible. I would eat if I could. The chocolate desserts I like just look like a red flag to expect vomit. Food tastes and looks like crap now. I couldn't swallow pills that I have been taking for years because of the gag reflux from nausea. That is slowly getting better. Strangely, pooping has gotten better (ergo an issue of IBS is no poop or too much poop), probably from not eating! Alright so I am going to be a bridesmaid in early April 2026. My goal is to get the dress by end of January and hopefully my weight will be stable for two months where I will have no weight fluctuations up or down. Before anyone says anything, I see my endocrinologist in 3 weeks. submitted by /u/purrfect_libra to r/WegovyWeightLoss [link] [comments]

My journey after 4 weeks of Wegovy
No photos yet but I’m down 20 pounds! I thought the scale was incorrect until I noticed in my underwear were big 😊 I must admit, my first week was ROUGH. It cleaned out EVERYTHING ! Since then, no stomach issues to report. Without getting too personal, I had/have an illness which required infusions of steroids for over a year. In 9 months, I went from 153 to 257 !!! This caused my bones to breakdown as well…broken ankle and my knees. The lack of mobility + steroids felt like I was “actively dying”. No photos yet but I’m down 20 pounds! I thought the scale was incorrect until I noticed in my underwear were big 😊 So that’s my storyI…so glad I found this place to share. Thank you. submitted by /u/Fabulous-Dust-8452 to r/Semaglutide [link] [comments]

Transformation!
SW 324 - CW 189 GW wa under 200. 2002-2005 Before and after shots. I feel transformed and fabulous!! Started this journey on Wegovy, switched to Zepbound a year later. This is do able. I’ve been overweight since I was 10 yo!! I’ve been on WW, and tracking before. Lost and gained more 85 lbs. I just couldn’t maintain it. But now with the help of a GLP – one I have been able to lose all this weight and keep it off. I’ve been stalled out for several weeks and I’m OK with that. Today is my 70th birthday. Love to you all. submitted by /u/Rich_Jacket_3213 to r/Zepbound [link] [comments]

134 lbs Gone, Still the Same Me
Wild to look back at where I started vs now. I began Wegovy in Jan 2024, switched to Zepbound later. I’m 5’5, started at 274, and today I’m 140. Down 134 lbs. Hit that milestone just before summer vacation. Whoop Whoop + I do work out now, 3/4 times a week. Before this, I never did. Movement is something I actually enjoy now, not punishment (it did take a while) + I quit drinking completely for 6 months. Had a couple on vacation and was tipsy embarrassingly fast. Alcohol just isn’t a major part of my life anymore. + No major hair loss, but my hair definitely thinned out and looks lighter. I’m not magically “happier” or “healthier” now. People don’t treat me differently, and dating hasn’t changed. I’m still about fat liberation and body neutrality. One thing that helped was using an app, first shotsy and switched to MeAgain. Main reason was having pictures to look back on the journey. The capybara widget is a nice touch. If you’re on this road too, big or small changes, I’m rooting for you. submitted by /u/furystone_0330 to r/Zepbound [link] [comments]

My journey so far with Wegovy
First picture is from Christmas 2024, weight 254, second picture was a few days ago. I started my Wegovy journey on February, and I cannot express how PROUD I am of myself, looking at these pictures side by side makes my heart drop. How did I not notice how unhealthy I was… wegovy helped me stop my binge eating that always happened at night time, even when I wasn’t hungry, I would be craving something sweet AND something salty and would just go on and on with the binging! I am now currently 174.6 as of today. I’m still not at my goal weight but oh man I can feel my body move faster and lighter! I haven’t been working out as much as I should but I’m definitely on a calorie deficit and that has been helping me ALOT! Anyone that tells you any GLP-1 is “cheating” is a LIE! You still have to put in the work! ANYWAYS, I just wanted to share my journey so far with someone since I don’t really talk about it. submitted by /u/kyriecriss to r/WegovyWeightLoss [link] [comments]

I did it guys!!
I honestly can not believe I’ve done it. Back in October 2024 weighing at 93.5kg, I made my goal to be 65kg. I didn’t even think I would make it to that. And in March I did! So I decided to make my goal 55kg (the weight I was in 2021 prior to my weight gain) 55 sounded so unrealistic and only a dream. I never thought I would ever reach that weight again. I finally feel like my old self again after all these years. It has been a real roller coaster of a journey, days where I felt fatigue, days where my body did not want to eat, lost hair on the way, having plateaus and thought that’s it I’m not going to lose anymore weight. But it has been all worth it in the end. My doctor has lowered my dose to 1.7mg and eventually will go on 1mg for maintenance. I plan to get off wegovy end of the year. I will forever be grateful for Wegovy teaching me how to have a healthy relationship with food again ❤️ and I’ve absolutely loved being on this journey with you all 🥰 submitted by /u/Chance_Business5139 to r/WegovyWeightLoss [link] [comments]

Wegovy Journey One Year Later
This will probably be my last post here. My insurance is no longer covering Wegovy as of 7/1 and I can’t afford compound. I want to express my gratitude to this sub. It’s been a journey and everyone here has always been helpful and supportive. SW 240. CW 145. 5’4”. I increased dosage incredibly slowly. I only ever went up when I felt like my current dose wasn’t effective. I spent one month on 2.4 before I found out my coverage was ending. My original goal was always 140, but I took a good look at myself in the mirror and decided I was happy with where I was and any more would be too much. I have one box of 1.7 that I’m going to take every two to three weeks and my doctor is going to write me three months in June. I’m anxious but hopeful I can keep the weight off. I wish I could have stayed on it forever. submitted by /u/michizzle85 to r/Wegovy [link] [comments]

Inspiration for everyone starting out, this took over 2 years! It is worth the wait 💪
I just wanted to post an update because I know this journey is a long one for most of us, and I hope this gives you the hope and motivation you need to stick with it. It has taken me over 2 years to lose nearly 110lbs. I was a VERY slow loser, and I started this journey eating low-carb and doing high intensity workouts 5 days a week. Unlike in my 20s, the weight just would not come off quickly, even with Wegovy. But, for the first time in my life, I feel like this will actually stick because I have changed my life. I eat fairly normal now (just less), I still workout 5 days a week, and I am more active than I have ever been. My whole relationship with food has changed, and now I look at food as fuel, and even as something to enjoy, but more importantly, not something I obsess about. I don’t think about my next meal while I am still eating my first, and I don’t dream of the food I used to binge eat when I wasn’t even hungry. I feel NORMAL. I am not going to say it’s all sunshine and roses, I will never have the flat stomach with abs that I have always dreamed about (shout out to aging, bad genetics, and loose skin). I still sometimes even look in the mirror and see the 296 lb version of myself. But the real reason I started this journey was to be the healthiest version of myself that I could be as I enter my 40s so I can be around longer for my kids, and play on the ground with my toddler, and go on hikes and adventures and just everything that I couldn’t do with the same enjoyment when I was so unhealthy. For the first time since I was 13, I am officially “normal” weight. If people ask, I tell them everything I have done without embarrassment or shame, and I encourage everyone who has struggled with this disease to give it a shot (literally). It could be the game changer you need to be the healthiest version of you Age: 41 Height: 6’2” Starting Weight: 296 Original Goal Weight: 200 New Goal Weight: I stopped caring Current Weight: 189 submitted by /u/alaskanchic to r/WegovyWeightLoss [link] [comments]

Wanna share my thoughts as I am finishing my 1st month on wegovy
I started my journey on June 21st, anxious about injecting medication into my body, but ready to try something new to help me lose weight. I am a 38yo 5’8 woman. On June 13th 2024, I had a routine appointment at the dr. and they weight me. I was 222 pounds. BMI 34. My blood pressure was ok but higher than my usual. My doc saw my distress and I proceeded to tell her about my medication that made me gain weight in the last 8 years, my bad shoulder, my endometriosis, exercice etc. She then asked me if I would consider semaglutide. While skeptical I said yes. After some back and forth with my insurance company, wegovy was approved for me a week later. On that Friday evening my life changed and I was unaware of it at that time. Fast forward to a month later, I am happier, lighter (10 pounds) and I know more than I ever knew about food and especially nutrients. I started walking again, at first for 30 minutes and now I go on walks for over an hour and l love it more than ever. I am lucky to have a park close to my home. Today I was mesmerized by the beauty of the golden hour reverberating on the trees as you can see in the 1st pic. As I was taking some photos I decided to turn the camera to me and snap a selfie (a rare occurence in the last couple of years) and now I am posting that picture of my fat smiling face on this sub as a reminder of where I was and where my journey will lead me. I love this selfie for many reasons, it is my best? No, not by a long shot as I much prefer my slimmer face. But, I see a woman here thats smiling, wearing a tank top out of her home and feel no shame, I see hope and healing my relationship with my body. We are more than what we see. I am more than what you see. We are not alone on our semaglutide journey. We are in this together, to ask and answer questions, to share victories and setbacks, to be inspired and inspire others. Etc. So here I am today, happier and more grounded than ever. Thankful for having a good MD. ✌🏻 submitted by /u/nordicbohemian to r/WegovyWeightLoss [link] [comments]

Are you public about your journey with Wegovy?
I am hopeful to start next week and getting really pumped up for it. I mentioned it to two friends at lunch today and I felt judged by them - like it was a lazy or stupid thing to do. Have you been open with people about your journey? submitted by /u/Making-Changes765 to r/WegovyWeightLoss [link] [comments]
