Recently picked this one up from a thrift store. I'm not entirely sure what it is or how to date it but seems pretty interesting. Theory explaining Vecna's true plan regarding the 12 kids and the 4 gates that drowned Hawkins
If you look closely at the breadcrumbs planted about the theories from Season 1 to Season 4, we can see that the Duffer Brothers clearly aren't just making a monster movie. They are building a script based on quantum physics and spatial geometry. And after stringing everything together, a panoramic picture of the Mind Flayer's true plan seems to be slowly taking shape... To understand the true scale of the final battle, we first need to establish that the Stranger Things universe isn't just two-sided (perhaps?), but exists as a 3-layer structure. First is Dimension X, a pristine red planet with giant monsters, where Henry Creel was pushed in 1979 and is the true home of the Mind Flayer. On the opposite side is the Right Side Up - the real world in Hawkins. And sitting in the middle of the two worlds is The Upside Down - an inverted Hawkins. But... why is that? Haven't we seen only 2 worlds for 4 seasons, assuming Dimension X and the Upside Down are one and the same? The answer lies in the operating structure of a natural universe since the concept of a second world (Dimension X) was introduced. We know that inverted Hawkins is an artificial bridge, only born in 1983 when Eleven touched the Demogorgon. And it was formed by copying Hawkins to act as a connecting buffer zone. In Episode 4 of Season 5, Dustin, through math, proved that the Upside Down has geographical limits and is surrounded by a wall of flesh. This further reinforces the theory that it is a closed space, a cage pressing down on Hawkins rather than an infinite universe. The bigger thing, lying parallel to the real world, has to be Dimension X. Accordingly, the way the Duffer Brothers tell us about the invasion method as well as the shaping of this world has changed significantly through each stage. In Season 1, when Mike's group was still quite naive, Mr. Clarke explained the operation using just a paper plate, drawing a flea and an acrobat, then bending the plate and punching a hole through it with a pen. Back then, the concept we knew stopped at opening a simple gate linking two worlds for monsters to step through. But Season 5 is different. In the scene teaching Erica in Vol 1 Episode 3, the math is now clearer. On the green board, Mr. Clarke didn't draw a plate anymore. He drew a diagram of a Wormhole shaped like an hourglass with the note closed timelike curve. So what is the implication of this theory? Is it that the enemy no longer wants to go through a gate, but wants to bend spacetime and merge the two worlds through an Einstein-Rosen bridge? Clues about this new method are reinforced by three easter eggs planted in the show: In Season 5, a very small background detail showed the character Derek engrossed in assembling a strange toy block, which is a Tesseract, a 4-dimensional cube. Along with this easter egg, we also see little Holly Wheeler reading A Wrinkle in Time right in Episode 1. The book talks about traveling by folding space. And when connecting these two details with the giant red dragon painting Will drew via the hive mind, it all accidentally matches perfectly with the physics diagram on Mr. Clarke's board in Season 5. Did Will redraw Vecna's blueprint, which coincidentally will turn Hawkins into a giant Tesseract connecting two worlds without knowing it? From these proofs, we can decode Vecna's mistake in Season 4 as well as his correction plan in Season 5. Last season, Vecna believed 4 deaths (corresponding to North, West, South, East) were enough to open a gate to drown Hawkins. But it seems... he was wrong. The cracks from the gate were only enough to make the military in this season waste a bunch of metal covering them up, turning them into a slide for kids. Clearly, the wall separating the worlds only cracked, it didn't collapse, and as of now, Hawkins still stands. So to once again merge all 3 worlds into one, Vecna understands he needs to execute a space fold following the Tesseract structure, a massive fold. And to have enough power to completely break the flesh wall, he needs more energy anchor points. The rule here is: A circle enclosing a cube with 12 edges needs exactly 12 anchor points to provide energy. But now we have another question: why 12 children and not 12 teenagers who already have trauma to easily manipulate like last season? "It's because they are weak, weak in both body and mind. They will be very easy to break, mold, and control, and this is clearly a perfect vehicle to execute the plan," Vecna said this to Will in the final scene of Episode 4. So clearly, Vecna's goal now is to create, not to destroy like last season. Chaotic energies from pain and psychological trauma are no longer suitable. Vecna needs obedient, pure building materials to create a new world according to his will, where every mind belongs to a unified block (hive mind). And children are now the most solid foundation, a sustainable Tesseract structure to merge the two worlds, something he tested on Will before (but this also means Vecna was partially wrong, as Will hacked back the hive mind in the final scene and destroyed the demogorgon). And if everything succeeds, when the 12th child is taken, the Tesseract energy circle will close. Then, the flesh wall will collapse, the Upside Down will be erased, and Dimension X will swallow Hawkins immediately. Here, the ending of the story will reveal Henry Creel's true role. Henry always thought he was the apex predator, the king of the new world he painstakingly created. But in reality, from the moment he was sucked into Dimension X, he was completely part of the plan of something with even greater ambition than him, a true demon. The Mind Flayer, an invisible entity, needs Henry (who has a body and superpowers) to build the Upside Down bridge and bring him to the human world. And does everyone remember the three-headed dragon Will drew for Mike last season? It's very likely the 3-headed Thessalhydra will be the original form, the incarnation of the Mind Flayer once he steps into the real world. So where lies the key to winning this entire tragedy? Is it possible there's an awakening, a side switch, a natural 20 dice roll that will be cast at the decisive moment, for one last time? submitted by /u/Cantfindmaru to r/StrangerThings [link] [comments]

"What's happened to all the birds?" Maybe this has something to do with it.
Recently I've seen several posts about bird feeders with no activity, with the poster concerned that something has happened to the birds who usually visit. I asked "what are you doing to help the adult birds feed their babies?" and received exactly zero responses. I think most people, even many who love birds, do not know what baby birds eat. They eat insects. 95% of native North American bird species feed exclusively soft-bodied insects to their babies. These birds have one or more nests of chicks from the start of spring on the calendar to about mid-July. Insects are in crisis due to human activities. (That means baby birds are also in crisis, by default.) Why is this the case? -New subdivisions are rapidly gobbling up what's left of the countryside, and spitting out pavement and useless grass lawns: --The vast majority of insects found here are native to North America. Native insects can't use turfgrass, which is from Eurasia. Sad fact: Sad fact: over 50 million acres of the US is now under either turfgrass or pavement. That's more than is under corn, our largest commercial crop. The following two things, on top of that one, compound the problem exponentially: - Huge losses of natural landscapes due to human development. - Proliferation of non-native, invasive plant species in what is left of our undeveloped areas and roadsides, etc. choking out our native plants. --Just as Monarch butterfly caterpillars need Milkweed to host on, so too do native insects need their own particular NATIVE host plants. They can't just switch to some other plant. They need THEIR native plants. And let's not ignore the willful sickening and killing of insects within those subdivisions: - Spraying or fogging "for bugs", "for mosquitoes", "for ticks and fleas and spiders and..." -- All of these treatments kill ALL insects, not just the target insects, even those butterflies, caterpillars, bees, fireflies, etc. that land on the yard plants after the treatment is over, or try to eat a treated plant. If the insects aren't killed, they are poisoned, and look like an easy meal to a bird trying to feed their babies. They pop that poisoned insect right into their babies' mouths. You can imagine what this does to the nestlings. I had a Tree Swallow pair have zero fledglings out of two nests this year, because all the homes around me are paying for fogging and other treatments. So how can we expect to have "usual" bird population levels with this amount of pressure on the food they need to feed their babies? And what a toll that takes on the parent birds, who must work harder and travel further to find insects. My 80-year-old neighbor is an original owner in our 1960s neighborhood. He wondered aloud to me when we first moved here "There used to be so many more birds. I wonder where all the birds have gone?" He asked this as he stood on his deck, looking over his sea of perfect turfgrass. In short, if your yard is not a wealth of native plants, and thus a cornucopia of delicious, harmless insects, the birds can't keep trying to live near your house, no matter how well you keep your feeders flowing. They choose territory based on quality for nesting. Some will spend winter somewhere else with better winter food, maybe your yard, but they won't choose your yard permanently unless they can successfully raise their young there. The solution is simple: * Grow a large body of native plants, more square feet of them than you maintain of lawn and ornamental plants. Let them stand tall in winter. Grow Nimblewill (Muhlenbergia schreberi), a no-mow-needed native lawngrass, instead of Eurasian turfgrasses. * Native trees, especially oaks and black cherry, support more species of insects than any other plants in eastern North America. Grow these if you can. (And the webworms? Baby bird food in convenient packaging! Leave them - the trees expect them to be there.) * Remove all invasive plant species from your land. Many of the plants your grandmother cherished are the very plants now stealing the land from our native plants in wild places. This is hard to hear, but many of your "Granny" ornamentals are, in fact, a big part of the problem. Which is more important, Granny's love for the invasive species from Asia, or there being baby birds at all? I hate to say it, but we are at that point. When was the last time you had to clean bugs off your windshield? If there aren't enough insects to make you pull over at a rest stop to clean them off, then there aren't enough to feed all the baby birds that should exist on this continent. Will you help them? Photo: a Variegated Fritillary (Euptoieta claudia) butterfly chrysalis on Rabbit Tobacco/ Sweet Everlasting (Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium). This butterfly is one of 33 species that hosts on violets (Viola.) It climbed the Rabbit Tobacco to get far away from the host plant, where its predators (such as birds!) would be looking for it. Its chrysalis looks like beautiful metal jewelry. You'll never see one unless you stop mowing your violets and/or you grow a lot of purple passionvine (Passiflora incarnata,) which is an alternative host plant for the species. Learn how to convert your yard back to all native plants - without planting anything (or by planting!) - by joining: smokymountains.wildones.org (or your local Wild Ones chapter!) :-) Sincerely, Regina Santore, President 2025-2026 Wild Ones, Smoky Mountains Chapter submitted by /u/Friendly_Buddy_3611 to r/birding [link] [comments]

The Tape That Married My Grandpa
I was 19 when I found the cassette tape in my grandpa's attic, labeled " DO NOT PLAY-1993" in his shaky handwriting. He had padded two years earlier, and mom finally let me sort through his old junk. The tape was wedged inside and old Walkman, batteries long dead.. and my curiosity won; I swapped in fresh AA's from the kitchen drawer and hit play in the dark. Static.. then his voice, younger than i'd ever heard: " If you’re listening kid, you’re probably me in forty years.. or someone I love. Either way, listen close." He talked for twelve minutes straight... no pauses, like he'd rehearsed it a hundred times. Said he'd buried a metal box under the big maple behind the house, exactly 47 paces from the back porch. Inside: a Polaroid for him and Grandma on their first date, a silver dollar from 1943, and a letter addressed to "Future Me." The kicker? He recorded this the night before he proposed , convinced he'd chicken out and need a push from his older self. I laughed so hard I cried. Then I grabbed a shovel. The ground was frozen .. late November.. but I chipped away until the blade clanged on metal. The box was rusted shut. Inside: the photo, ( grandma mid laugh, wind in her hair), the coin ( still shiny), and the letter. Yellowed paper, ink faded but legible. It wasn't to him.. it was to me. "Dear Grandkid (yeah you), If you found this, I didn't wuss out. I asked her. She said yes. We're probably dancing in the kitchen right now to that awful Sinatra record. Don't let anyone tell you love's a risk. It's the only bet worth rigging. Plant something here when the tree dies. Keep the chain going. P.S. Tell your mom the meatloaf recipe's on the back of this page. She'll pretend she hates it. She really doesn't." I read it twice. Then I looked up... mom was in the doorway, eye wet, holding the Walkman. She flipped the letter over. grandma's meatloaf, in Grandpa's handwriting, complete with "extra Worcestershire or else." We made it that night. Burnt the edges, just like he used to. The maple's still standing. I planted tulip bulbs last spring. They're poking through the dirt now, stubborn little green spears. Some nights I swear I hear Sinatra drifting from the kitchen. I never check.. I just smile and turn up the volume. submitted by /u/Affectionate_Unit252 to r/story [link] [comments]

AITA for planing my pregnancy behind my BF back?
Me 35 and my BF 36 have been together for about 4 years. Life has been good, not perfect. But I newer thought I needed to write my problems to redit. But here we are. (English is not my first language) This is a scrap account. In the beginning I have been clear that I want children, from day 1. I even asked him if he wanted children, and I remember he nodded and said yes- good to go! We bought a house for some 3 years ago and I've been trying to do my best to pull my weight. I have ADHD so doing things that I'm not use to is a massive struggle, also I had a new job that treated me like scrap metal for 3 years. (that's another story for another time) Now I have a new job where I feel comfortable and we just renovated our leaking roof, so I told by BF to bang me pregnant... NOW! but now he is like "I'm not sure if I want children." My soul left my body. We talked some more and I asked him what he means. I asked him if my communication has been lacking. "You know that I want children right?" Yeah yeah but he doesn't want to bring children to a house that isn't complete, and he wants to find another job so that he can be a good dad and be more present. He wants to find a new job BEFORE I even get pregnant.... The house is standing, it's worm during winter, cool during summer, we have water and a roof that isn't leaking. It's not falling apart and I'm 35 years! I want kids now. I wanted kids several years ago. I wanted kids before turning 30. I asked my BF if he has really been standing there for 4 years, not thinking about our future. SO I GAVE HIM THE ULTIMATUM! He has 6 months to decide if he wants children, and he has to be honest. I was clear that I want children with or without him and my goal is to be pregnant in 2026. No excuses. I even told him that I can throw this relationship in to the wall for children, I can leave him the way I left my dad and my previous relations. I'm don't want to be 40 years and pregnant. I'm not going to be 80+ and alone. I want my family. He was calm and understanding. We weren't yelling, just having a deep conversation, but I was quite stressed. So for the past few weeks I've been asking him about the ultimatum, and- "I haven't really been thinking about it yet." And I asked him if we should start to save up for a child and he said "Nah, it's better if we put that money on the house, so that we can complete it." I was honest and told him that it feels as if he doesn't even want children, but he said he just needs time. he promises to be honest and come up with the answer as soon as he can. I also promised to not stop my contraceptive. So I don't take this situation for granted. I have this looming feeling in my stomach that this ain't going to work. How can some one go 4 years and shrug his shoulders and not even think about children- While I'm here stressing and having deep feelings about my future children. I have been mentioning children from time to time, so I haven't been that quiet about it. I know my trauma and ADHD makes my communication bad but.... I think I was quite clear that I want children! And he said he knows that I want children, he said I've been clear about that. (I want to scream) So am I the butt hole: I've started to save for my children. I have a job that pays for what I'm worth and I feel safe at work! I have been looking for IVF clinks and even called a few just to hear what they say and how it works, the costs and how to pick a sperm donation. I talked to some friends and my brother about my situation and they are all supportive if I become a single mom. I counted my money and economy and I can economically handle singe mom life. I have a list of names I like. I have a list of things to buy for a babys first year. Right now I'm actually considering to use these 6 months to just save money and to build on the house so that it can be sold for as much money as possible. I'm not sure how honest I dare to be but... I think I lost some attraction to my BF. 36 year old man who shrugs his shoulders and doesn't know and doesn't care about my stress and want for children. It feels as if he takes me for granted. This man probably has no idea that I'm planning my pregnancy and saving money. The other day he talked about to build a TV/Sound room, I just stared at him. (I want to build a room for a baby!) I feel bad for planning my pregnancy behind his back, and now I'm not even sure if I want him anymore. I want to continue to plant seeds in to his brain, remind him about children, I rather not be a single mom. Or should I just plan my life behind his back? I could be a mom withing 7 months if I do this alone, that thought alone makes me super happy. I feel like a butt hole for planning my pregnancy behind his back. submitted by /u/KimQuiet to r/CharlotteDobreYouTube [link] [comments]

Plant stand with wrong grow lights, what do I do?
Edit: I went ahead and contacted the seller, explaining the situation, and they acknowledged it was a manufacturer's error which they were working on, thanked me for letting them know, and offered a 50% refund and a set of replacement lights once they received the correct ones. Obviously, I declined the refund, and didn't tell them I was a Vine member. Then, because the item was "currently unavailable", I contacted Vine customer support to let them know what happened, and asked if I should still review the item. They simply apologized for the hassle and scraped the ETV. Thanks for all your responses! This experience has given me a better idea what to do in future situations like this. ___________________________ I ordered a $110 plant stand with grow lights that are supposed to attach beneath the shelves. It's a nice plant stand, I do really like it, but the problem is, they sent me the wrong grow lights - they're too wide for the shelves and won't work at all. What would you do? Am I allowed/able to contact the seller and ask for the correct parts to be sent? Or should I get it removed from my review list for tax purposes? It's a nice stand, I don't like to give it a bad review, but I also think buyers should know about the issue, or at least give the seller a chance to fix it. The strange thing is, the listing photos don't even show the light fixtures, only the light. https://preview.redd.it/bcjgyx0hzzjf1.png?width=1650&format=png&auto=webp&s=d37805b98c9da0a12f16ab570b875af49524fbf8 https://preview.redd.it/dlumcdgqzzjf1.png?width=525&format=png&auto=webp&s=ff5531c62fd4c36c686e9f6ea6e7805f4a94ea0b submitted by /u/Enough_Asparagus_207 to r/AmazonVine [link] [comments]

Caridina Parameters: TDS 100, PH: 6.3-6.5 Temp: 72-75 KH: 0 GH: 2 Hi everyone, I'll be moving out of the country soon and I need to divest myself of all the aquatic life and tanks I have, very sadly. I will not just be selling the standard juveniles, but shrimp of all ages/sizes, so I've marked down prices accordingly. Any babies caught will be complementary. If you want to buy the whole colony for any of these species, let me know and I can send picks of the tank/we can work something out. Tank: NEVER BEEN USED 32 Gallon cube with Stand -$500. Comes with Chihiros app controlled light, driftwood, a C02 can and C02 Art regulator, all driftwood pictured. Fluval Canister filter, Assorted fake seiryu plastic rocks, pebble/sand packages from ADA, some lava rock. Half a bag of ADA Amazonia if you want it. These will be regular pintos. *Red Galaxy Pintos with red tint - $3: Will give +2 for every 10 ordered. The genes aren't very refined, but around 50% of them exhibit this gene, alongside good leg patterns and colors. They'd be very good for someone who has some time to really refine them. Only have around 50-75, so grab while they're here. Plants: Subwassertang - $5 per golfball sized clump Bucephalandra Varieties - $4 per plant. Sizes may vary, so if one is too small, I'll include another plant. Moneywort stems - got maybe 25 of these. $1 per stem or $20 for the whole bunch. Very strong and healthy Dwarf Sagittaria - $4 for every 5. Some nearly 6inch tall ones if anyone wants some. Average size is around 3 inch. The standard variety of Cryptocoryne - $5 each. Trump to sign a directive today formally raising steel and aluminum tariffs to 50% from 25%
President Donald Trump will sign a directive on Tuesday formally raising steel and aluminum tariffs to 50% from 25%, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced. Trump said last Friday the higher charge will take effect on June 4, but Leavitt did not elaborate on the timing. The move raises trade tensions at a time when the US is locked in negotiations with numerous trading partners over his so-called “reciprocal” duties before a July 9 deadline. The president’s ability to unilaterally impose tariffs stands on shakier legal ground, after a federal court knocked down duties he announced under an emergency law. His levies on metals were not subject to that ruling. Trump announced the decision during a speech at a United States Steel Corp. plant in Pennsylvania on Friday, where he endorsed the sale of the company to Japan’s Nippon Steel Corp. while pledging that it would remain under some form of American control. “That means that nobody’s going to be able to steal your industry,” he told steelworkers Friday, in announcing the higher tariff. “It’s at 25%, they can sort of get over that fence; at 50% they can no longer get over the fence.” He later announced in a social media post that the aluminum tariff would also rise to the same level. submitted by /u/s1n0d3utscht3k to r/wallstreetbets [link] [comments]

Purchased this plant stand at an estate sale and couldn’t be happier!
It was pretty rusty when we picked it up. A can of metal spray paint does wonders. Yes I’m aware my deck needs power washed. submitted by /u/Whalley-07 to r/gardening [link] [comments]

The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory hinged door, photographed here in 1979.
In 1979, a striking photograph captured an employee at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory opening what was then the world’s heaviest hinged door. This massive door, designed to be eight feet thick and nearly twelve feet wide, weighed an astonishing 97,000 pounds. Its immense size and weight were necessary to provide a robust shield for the Rotating Target Neutron Source-II (RTNS-II), which was recognized as the world’s most intense source of continuous fusion neutrons at the time. Despite its enormous weight, the door was engineered with a special bearing in its hinge that allowed a single person to open or close it with relative ease. This remarkable mechanical design demonstrated the innovative engineering solutions employed at the laboratory to safely contain and control powerful scientific equipment. The concrete-filled door served as a crucial barrier, protecting both the facility and its workers from the intense neutron radiation generated by the RTNS-II. The RTNS-II facility attracted scientists from across the globe, who used its unique capabilities to study the properties of metals and other materials under extreme conditions. Their research was vital for developing materials suitable for use inside fusion power plants—an ambitious goal for the coming century. This photograph stands as a testament to the groundbreaking work conducted at Lawrence Livermore, combining advanced engineering with cutting-edge fusion science. submitted by /u/Lepke2011 to r/DesignPorn [link] [comments]

I know who burned the cabin and I am on “team science” now more than ever.
It wasn’t a person who burned the cabin. The adults are suffering from lifelong chronic psychiatric and physical conditions caused by 19 months of chronic exposure to toxic metals from contaminated water, plants, and wildlife while they were still developing teens. My theory (the AMD theory which has been mentioned before but idk if anyone has linked all of the below to it and after seeing what happened to our new characters, I am sold): AMD stands for “Acid Mine Drainage.” Near the cabin there is an abandoned or natural iron/sulfide-rich geology that is leaching acidic, metal-laden runoff into a river. Most likely a mine. The old mining tunnels or exposed sulfide-rich rocks nearby oxidize upon contact with air and water. This produces iron oxide (red/orange) and creates sulfuric acid. Toxic metals that are normally trapped in the rocks are dissolved into the the river and the nearby lake. These could include lead, arsenic, manganese, mercury, or a combination of a few. Impact on the surroundings: River runs red weird smelling river compass doesn’t work (magnetic metals) FIRE RISK increases as soil becomes acidic, trees die, and climate shifts locally even the lake looks reddish from some angles and it would be emitting hydrogen sulfide, a highly flammable gas (the plane exploded directly above the lake) Impact on the wildlife: plants become toxic animals become sick and disoriented (deer filled with maggots, bear that wanders over to the cabin, crows that die and land on the roof) and toxic to eat Effects on the people: Boiling the water does not remove metals, so those that drink or swim in the water begin to experience neurological symptoms, starting with mild confusion and leading to full-on hallucinations or delirium. Eating wildlife (or other people) that are exposed just compounds their exposure, intensifying the effects over time. Here are some things these metals can cause, especially after 19 months: Memory loss (especially short-term) Difficulty concentrating or problem-solving Strange dreams Slowed reaction times (difficulty hunting) Trouble with language, reading, or communication May seem “spacey,” “forgetful,” or “disconnected” from reality Existing psychological conditions may worsen Paranoia Mood Swings Impulsivity and lack of inhibition Anxiety, depression, withdrawal, or emotional flatness Delusions Hallucinations Acting irrational or violent Poor coordination or balance Blurry vision or ringing in the ears Permanent neurological changes are possible, especially in a developing brain (which continues maturing through the mid-20s) Organ damage Weakened immune system (which can lead to cancer) Yes, this happens to the Yellowjackets but ALSO notice how Edwin (Edgar? lol) becomes extremely paranoid about Kodi the guide. “There’s strength in numbers!” - some people think this is a stretch and he was just insecure but idk, he got really ramped up toward the end there and Kodi never showed any signs of nefarious intentions, he’s just a bit of a weird dude Edited to add detail & fix errors submitted by /u/Visual_Tale to r/Yellowjackets [link] [comments]

Just wanted to share about my success with string of pearls. 🤗 ...but a question at the end. 😁
Basically, don't ever touch them. 😆 Last photo was the day I brought them home from the nursery, Dec 2023. I let them acclimate for a few days then potted them in a shallow terracotta-like pot with a base that is more narrow than the top and the top lip has a thicker rounded lip. I chose this pot so the top lip edge wouldn't potentially dig into the strings and the strings could hang freely. I got the metal stand from Joanns craft store. I put the water tray at the base so I never have to pick up the plant to take it somewhere to water it, it just says in its spot to get watered. Obviously I moved it for this photo, though. 🙃 Full window sun for 6hrs. Distilled water once or twice a month. I think I've fertilized once in late spring. Q: how do I get the lil pearls to grow more round and less football shaped? submitted by /u/Go_Ask_Alys_Dallas to r/houseplants [link] [comments]

Turns out carpentry is hard when you don't know anything about it. Couldn't find a plant stand in the size I wanted, so I built one.
