water bottle slings? 🥤
i was curious if any of you had the puffy water bottle slings and how you felt about them! for days when i use a smaller bag and still want to take my owala around with me & be hands-free, it seems like it could be a good investment (aside from them being discontinued 🥲) i've come across several up for sale, but haven't seen much talk about them on here, so i just wanted to get some feedback; like if they would be able to fit a 32oz owala freesip and if they're comfortable to wear, etc thank you in advance~ 💛 submitted by /u/nonbearnary to r/BAGGU [link] [comments]

Owala bottles: how do they fair?
I’m quite keen on getting either the 32oz or 40oz. I’m currently using hydroflask 500ml but it’s not enough to sustain for the entire day before I need to refill again and the bottle leaks. So am wondering how does the Owala bottle compare? Do they leak? Also how well does it keep the water cold? And if you used the straw accessories, how is cleaning like? submitted by /u/Puzzleheaded_Style52 to r/asksg [link] [comments]

Considering getting an Owala to help me drink more water, 40oz or 32oz?
I struggle a lot with drinking enough water and I want to work on my hydration. I think something that would really help is a good water bottle. I know everyone raves about the bottles so I'm highly considering getting one, but I can't decide if the 40oz or 32oz would be better for everyday activities. I know the 40oz could hold more water without requiring a refill which is more convenient, but I wonder how much of a hassle it is to lug around? If the water bottle becomes an annoyance to bring places, I'm worried it might discourage me from actually using it. Would love opinions from those that have already been using Owalas, so thought I'd ask here, thank you 🫶 submitted by /u/dullcoric to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Seeking Clear Water Bottle that has a covered straw, won’t give me asthma by hiding mildew in crevices of straw device, lockable, strong attachment point for carabiner, fits in cupholders, dishwasher safe including bottom rack.
Edit/Solved: When I tried to deep clean my contigo as suggested, I found out contigo has mold lawsuits. So after, I settled on the clear Owala Freesip. Thanks for suggesting to focus on the things that matter most! tl;dr is the title Ok all, I have been hunting for this holy grail water bottle for awhile, and I just can’t find it. I can’t believe it took me this long to ask Reddit. If someone finds one with my must haves, I would be very happy. If not, then I guess send me closest? Please list which requirements your recommendation fulfills. Here are my requirements, and why. Must haves: * Clear: ADHD brain means if I can’t see the water, I won’t drink it. * Has a straw: I drink more with a straw. Secondary reason is I want to be able to drink it in bed without pouring it all over my face. * Straw doesn’t have hidden parts that are hard to clean: My asthma got worse. I found out it’s because there’s parts of the Contigo AND camelbak I own that have nooks and crannies you can’t reach and get mildew/moldy over many years of use. My stupid straw cleaner can’t reach these places. I need to reach and see all the places, not just partway through the top and then partway through the bottom. Preferably one continuous straw you can dismantle and clean then dishwash. (So those opaque Hydroflask ones don’t work, because I cannot see what is happening in there.) * Lockable and doesn’t leak: ADHD and I accidentally toss non-lockable ones in bags too. So many destroyed books. * Straw is covered: No tumblers please…I need that hygiene cap. Also to prevent leaks. * Strong attachment point: I carabiner all my bottles to everything. Built in clips don’t work well, so I always attach my own strong one, so it just needs a strong point. * Fits in cupholders: Car doesn’t have a big cupholder * Dishwasher safe: If it’s not dishwasher safe…I will avoid it. (See above ADHD mentions.) Main cup part needs to be bottom rack safe…or someone has proven it works. Nice to have: * 30+oz: I would really love to have a 32oz one, but this list is already impossible, so I moved this to nice to have. * Measurements markings: I like to track water intake with Water Llama, so if it has markings, that would be great, because if I can track, it will remind me to drink water. * Insulated: Like clear double wall insulated, not metal insulated. I saw one on Amazon with this feature, and thought that would be nice, but definitely not a requirement—I usually drink it room temp. Ok I know this is a crazy amount of requirements, but if anyone can find the answer, it’s you, Redditors. I believe in you. 🥰 Don’t fail me now! submitted by /u/gidgeteering to r/BuyItForLife [link] [comments]

Water bottle
Hello everyone! I just got accepted for the summer DCEP, and I’m sorting everything out and getting ready. I’ll be at attractions, so which water bottle would you recommend me to buy? I like the owala one, but idk if I should buy the 32oz or the 24oz. Does the 32oz fit on the hanger? If some one else base any other water bottle recommendations, you are welcome to share it and I’ll consider them! submitted by /u/Warm-Nefariousness28 to r/Disneycollegeprogram [link] [comments]

I had no idea how MASSIVE the 32oz bottles were
Full disclosure: I’m not American, and until recently the concept of a dedicated water bottle was foreign to me - I’d just re-use bottles from juice or water. Then, I decided to get an Owala, but one of those special edition Urban Outfitters ones - THE HANKIES are so cool!!! I popped into a local store that sells Owalas, and the 32oz ones are… massive! They’re like a full-on thermos! So heavy already, would never fit in my side pocket (I have the North Face Borealis) - do people actually use them? They’re SO LARGE! submitted by /u/Tight_Display4514 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Lost water bottle
I left a black Owala 32oz with pink Owala boot either in 1957 E St room B12 or Funger Hall room 103 the week before finals, has anyone seen it? I’ve been stalking the lost and found log but it’s not on there 🥲 submitted by /u/Adorable-Painting131 to r/gwu [link] [comments]

Overthinking my first Owala bottle…may I have some assistance?
Hi everyone! I’ve been waiting around 3.5 years for these bottles to finally become available in Europe, and I just found out they now ship to my country. I’m honestly so excited and I’d love to treat myself to my very first one as a little holiday and self-care gift. That said… I’m very prone to analysis paralysis so I could really use some advice from people who already own one. I’m currently torn between the 32oz Freesip and the 30oz Freesip Sway as a first bottle. My main use would be as an everyday water bottle for home, work, and being out and about. I really value cold drinks and would like my water to stay cold for at least a full day in normal temperatures. I don’t use car cup holders, and while I do own a bottle carrier, I’d prefer something I can safely toss into a purse or backpack. A secure lock is important to me because I really don’t want leaks. Ease of cleaning matters too since I wash my bottle daily and want something hygienic without too much fuss. I’m also struggling a bit with color choices. None of the designs really jump out at me and getting protective boots is difficult where I live since Owala doesn’t sell them on the European site. For those of you who couldn’t see the bottles in person before buying, how did you decide on a color? For the Freesip, I currently have access to some “exclusive” colors like Sugar Plum Fairy, Tea Time, Cat Collage, Ribbon Toile, Bowala, Not My First Rodeo, and a few others. I’m not sure how much that should factor into my decision though, especially since the bottle will probably get scuffed over time anyway? On the other hand, if the Sway is a meaningful improvement over the classic Freesip, I’d be perfectly happy choosing a more neutral color and enjoying better design and functionality. I’d really appreciate any feedback, comparisons, or personal experiences you’re willing to share. Thanks so much for reading and for helping an overthinker make a decision! 💛 submitted by /u/Siara-chan to r/Owala [link] [comments]

Synapses and owala bottles
I am looking into the synapse 19 but am unsure if it can fit an owala 32oz bottle. Synapse 25 is just too big for my 5'2 frame. Synik 22 seems like the bottle won't fit inside from other folks' comments. I currently have the fjallraven raven 20....and with my load out the water bottle pockets barely manage. So... Can it fit in the s19? 👀 Loadout pics greatly appreciated Edit for clarity: can the owala 32oz fit in the water bottle pocket🤘 Edit #2: what bag do you recommend that can handle that specific bottle? Trying to keep the bag size on the smaller end of possible submitted by /u/uterusVSduderus to r/tombihn [link] [comments]

Erin vs Laurel- reusable water bottle
I was wondering if anyone here has the Erin or Laurel shoulder bag and carries a water bottle in it? I am in search of an everyday non-work bag that can fit my 32oz owala. Thank you!! Edit: also wanted to add that I’m open to other styles too, these just seemed to fit the dimensions. I am 5’10” so I could definitely go a little larger on the bag but I would still like for it to be more of a casual bag rather than a big tote submitted by /u/Public_Resource_9233 to r/Coach [link] [comments]

Le Pliage (L) insert with water bottle holder that fits Owala 32oz?
Just like the title says! I have Le Pliage large and it fits the 32oz bottle easily but I'm looking for an insert with a holder that will fit the bottle. It's slightly too wide to fit in the felt one I got from Amazon. Does an organizer like that even exist? submitted by /u/firangcurry to r/Owala [link] [comments]

State Fair Reusable Water Bottle
I’m planning on going to the state fair but I’m a bit confused on the bottle policy. For those of y’all that have gone, can I take my Owala 32oz into the fair? I’ve seen some people say it has to fit inside the bag and others say it’s okay. Anyone know if it’ll be okay to take? submitted by /u/fuzzypie- to r/Dallas [link] [comments]

Is 36oz big for a water bottle? Should i go 32oz instead?
Deciding between a YETI rambler which only comes in 24 or 36 oz or getting an owala for the 32oz which i feel like would be better. I would prefer the Yeti since I don’t want a straw but am fine with it if the size makes more sense submitted by /u/New-Strength6465 to r/onebag [link] [comments]

water bottle recommendations
i am on the hunt for a good water bottle, preferably 32oz but 24oz works too. i am currently torn between an owala or a bottle bottle. does anyone have experience with either/both? or is there even another brand/bottle which would be EVEN better? thank you so much. i would only want to buy one as i despise overconsumption, thus me asking. thank you for the input! :) fyi - i am a university student in med school so the longer the water stays cold, the more practical it is, having a straw+chug options are all pretty major considerations of mine. submitted by /u/cece_r to r/BuyItForLife [link] [comments]

Does Your Owala keep your water cold??
I have owned 2 Owala’s a 40oz and a 32oz. And they just don’t keep my water cold for as long as other bottles I’ve owned. My ice water is warm by morning. I used to be a HydroFlask girly and it stayed SO cold! My husband was gifted a yeti from work and he left it on the coffee table for like 30 hours. And I took a sip and it was STILL so cold! Has anyone tried other bottles?? I’m just curious what others think about how long cold water lasts! submitted by /u/Left_Assumption_7307 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

“EDC” bags that fit a 32oz Owala FreeSip?
I’m looking to grab a 20-25L backpack for daily use that can store a fairly large water bottle, has good tech / pen / office organization, and isn’t too terribly large. I really like the Aer City Pack Pro and the Tom Bihn Synik 22. Would those have the capacity? submitted by /u/Mericandrummer to r/ManyBaggers [link] [comments]

Owala FreeSip Drying Stand (24oz & 32oz)
Hello all! I just wanted to share my FreeSip drying rack that I designed and 3D printed! I needed a slim drying stand with removable feet so that I could fit it in my kitchen drawer. I couldn't find one that worked for me, so I decided to design my own! I designed it to have feet that can screw on/off. With the feet on, it stands only 20mm (~0.75in) tall. When the feet are removed, it's only 10mm (~0.4in) tall, allowing it to be low profile and compact enough to store in a drawer with other items! The drying stand is compatible with the 24oz and 32oz FreeSip. It might also work for the 40oz, but I don't own one to try it out. If you're interested in one, you can find it here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1857349938/water-bottle-drying-rack-for-owala Thanks! submitted by /u/Decent-Cheesecake303 to r/Owala [link] [comments]

What brands make double-walled stainless steel, vacuum sealed water bottles? And what's the best one?
I'm trying not to fall into the trend of water bottle consumerism, but I'm not better than anyone.... I recently panic-bought 2 water bottles, a very old 32oz hydroflask (like has their original logo and is pretty beat up old) and a stanley look-alike from five below. Thankfully I work at a thrift store so this was a $4 purchase. I have a 21oz hydroflask I was gifted years ago, but I usually have to fill it 3 or 4 times a day, and I want something bigger that would still fit in a cupholder and preferably has a handle. I've done a lot of research but I just can't decide, so what do Real Water Drinkers like? I'm not totally opposed to dropping $40+ on a bottle if it'll fulfill my needs forever, but we do get several in at my job so if I happen across one that's actually a miracle bottle I'd love to be aware. Thanks! Update: I have read and upvoted every comment; honestly everyone seems tied between the brands I was already considering: yeti, hydroflask, ozark trail, and owala 😅 but thanks everyone for your help!!! I think I'll go with ozark trail as it's the most accessible, I should've also probably asked what's the least likely to get dented? Either way. This has been really helpful, thanks everyone! Update 2: I did some searching in the thread and here are the most mentioned brands: 1) Yeti: 16 times 2) Hydroflask: 12 times 3) Klean Kanteen: 6 times 4) Ozark Trail: 5 times 5) Owala: 3 times (but is the most upvoted!) 6) Camelback and RTIC: 3 times (each) 7) Iron Flask and Stanley: 2 times (each) All other brands mentioned seem to be mentioned only once as far as I can tell, but of course, to each their own and whatever you like best!! submitted by /u/jeenbieheenbies to r/HydroHomies [link] [comments]
