Hi, I’ve been using ZMA each evening for years it helps with sleep for me. I’m coming to the end of my stock and wondered if anyone has particular success with any magnesium supplements. If yes which type ? If I don’t need the Z and A in ZMA I was thinking I may as well not take it...... thanks 🙏

I have to take that disgusting mix at night or I get the worst leg cramps and constipation. I take a scoop of this at night and I use the 8 sheep magnesium lotion. I also take magnesium bisglycinate in the morning. I need the extra magnesium for the above and to ward off headaches.

I am a labor and delivery nurse and we do not put mamas on magnesium just because they had pre eclampsia and had to be on magnesium for a previous delivery! You are at higher risk to get pre e again than moms who did not have it during previous pregnancies, but they won’t automatically put you on magnesium. They will keep a close eye on your blood pressure and lab work

I’m a chronic RLS sufferer and magnesium does nothing for mine. A quality prenatal vitamin already contains magnesium, too, and too much causes stomach issues like loose stool and stomach cramps. The lotions don’t do a thing, either. RLS is neurologically driven so anything you can do to take your mind off of it can help a bit. I hope you feel better. Only prescription Lyrica helps mine.
